This location has undergone an extensive renovation. The dining area has lost its "institutional cafeteria" feel, and looks a lot swankier. The food and service remains consistently good. The basic menu seems the same -- thank goodness, as the broccoli cheese baked potato is a family favourite. Clean...but smells funny...like B.O. or corn chips. Friendly staff. Food came quick but I also was there about 45 minutes before the lunch rush. The lunch rush had a line out the door. No way I would have stood in line for that. I had the broccoli and cheese soup and half a smoked turkey sandwich...it was all really good. No complaints. The smell was too much...I did take my food to the car and finish eating there but I'm very sensitive to smells. When I'm paying $8 for a simple chicken salad on wheat to go, here's a tip: how's about not wrapping the sandwich so tight that it's basically mashed up into a little ball and the once supple wheat bread is now as thin and soggy as a drunken pad thai noodle that my great Uncle Larry has sat on.... Also, the BLT....bacon is a tad on the rancid side. Waiting 15min for those two sandwiches after the peak lunch hour rush, then getting an excuse it was because of the fried egg on the BLT (even though the wrapped sandwiches were finally noticed on the counter AFTER I complained? Staff was friendly and helpful when I had no idea where to order (one line is for the salad bar and self-checkout while the other line is for sandwiches, etc.). Clean establishment and lots of seating. In a plaza where you can work out or shop. Tried their BLT - very good here! Hearty helping of all ingredients - no skimping here. Don't order it "light", as it just means less bacon. Crispy bacon and fresh lettuce and tomato. What a treat - free soft serve ice cream at the end of your meal! Selection galore. The only problem here is deciding since the menu is expansive and combos of flavors are endless. In the past I have enjoyed the chicken dishes, baked potato with various meat combinations, and soups but the best dish they have served has been the pot roast. It was the most tender decadent pot roast I had ever eaten. It's been taken off the menu for a year and I sorely miss it. Please bring back the pot roast. Service is stupendous. One evening my dining partner was annoying the hell out of me because he was so hungry and ancy he couldn't relax wait for his food then out it came and he dived in over anxious. About half way thru the meal the manager came by and refunded our $. He said since we waited a little over 20 minutes we should be refunded. This was a nice touch and totally unexpected. Our recent visit to Jason's was extremely disappointing. We found that they have no dining options for a Vegan diet. When we asked about this we were met with a blank stare. We then found that the only viable option, the asked bar, has been reduced to a mere sliver of what it used to be in terms of options and quality. It is also now strictly a '1 pass' for more than $8.00 which is absurd for essentially a dinner salad. With so many better options available in the community we've crossed Jason's off the list to consider for dining or feeding those crowds we assemble once in a while. The food was fine, but the salad bar is limited to ONE-stop. No more potatoe salad item and ONLY one fruit desert (apple slices) for the salad bar. No more flavored assorted pudding were gone from the salad bar. I also appreciated that you recognized your Senior-Citizens with a small discount, but that also was REMOVED. This place has a great salad bar. I'm not much of a salad person, but now and then I need to eat healthy. More accurately, I'm with a group that wants to eat healthy. I enjoy this salad bar. It doesn't hurt that they have garlic crostini and corn bread and ginger bread muffins on the bar. They also have complimentary soft serve for dessert. The only staff member I interacted with was the nice young lady at the cashier who also brought my order out to me. I had the $8.59 half-sandwich and cup-of-soup combo for a total of $9.30. Both items tasted good. The salad bar looked extensive. Maybe Jason's Deli can finally fill the void that Souper Salad's departure left in my life. Food wasn't the best. My soup was cold and not great so I asked if I could trade it out for broccoli and cheddar, I was granted my request however the soup was thick and again, not tasty. This place has been my lunch hero when ordering for group lunches. Their on-line ordering system is well put together and user friendly. You can even order for a later time during the day. When you do order during lunch it's usually going to be an hour or hour and a half before delivery so plan accordingly. I have always received it within the time frame they tell me and the order in accurate when it arrives. I personally enjoy their make your own salad option and Club sandwich. The sandwiches come with a choice of chips, fruit with dip or a cookie (most options). The fruit is a large cup and is well worth the price. When you receive the pickle it is in a sealed bag which is a nice touch since it won't get your sandwich all juicy! The club sandwich is huge for the price and everything on it is always fresh. The people in the office swear by the quality of the cookies, if you are a dessert person. You could go to one of the other sub shops and pay less money but, the quality of this place vs. the price is well worth the extra couple of dollars! read more

This location had been remodeled and it looked fantastic. Service was excellent and friendly. Food took maybe 5 minutes and was brought to our table. I always get the Club Royale and a cupe of broccoli cheese soup. Cost me almost $10 but it was worth it because I was starving. Nice flat screen TVs in there was a pleasant addition. They had SO many different kinds of teas to choose from. Even some Yogi teas which I took upon myself to...well help myself to and stashed a few in my purse for later. All in all, everything about Jason's Deli had improved enormously. Not to mention the free ice cream as always. My lunch partner had not one but TWO ice cream cones. There were a lot of new additions to the menu that were completely new to me. It all looked and sounded delicious. Maybe next time I will try to think outside the box and try something new. Another favorite of mine is the Deli Club, the Penne Pasta, The Spud Au Broc, and many more. OH snap I forgot they added Pumpkin coffee cake or something like that to the menu. WTF?! I've been multiple times after church on Sunday afternoon, and they always prove to have quick service! I got the Plain Jane today, and even though at $6.59, is the most expensive potato I've ever purchased, it is most definitely one of the best! The portion size is HUMONGOUS and there is a hefty amount of cheese, sour cream, green onion, chives, and bacon on it. I come to this location probably once a week or so, and I never tire of it. Soup, salads, sandwiches, wraps, giant potatoes, pasta, desserts - Jason's has a pretty huge variety so it's difficult to get bored with the menu. And it meets the 3 most important criteria: 1) fast, 2) healthy, 3) cheap. Like under $10 cheap. Where else can you get a healthy, delicious, veggie-filled meal for under $10? It's not as easy as it sounds, my friends. Some of those fancy salad places will try to charge you $10+ for a bowl of wilty field greens with 5 candy pecans on top. Gross. My favorite menu items that will run you 500 calories or less: The spinach-veggie wrap The nutty mixed-up chicken salad (before dressing) All of the soups, including a bowl of my favorite - chicken pot pie Mediterranean wrap Turkey wrap Savvy chicken salad wrap And of course there's the salad bar, which is pretty much whatever you make of it. There wasn't much Italian about it, nor anything good about it. I actually went back and got a refund for the messy pile of random ingredients I was served. The manager didn't flinch, and I began to wonder if refunding sandwiches was a frequent part of his job. I then decided I would never again venture into the sandwiches. So I decided to stick with the soups and salad bar. The tomato (tomato basil?) soup was pretty damned good, and the gumbo sucked (burned roux? or do they even make it themselves?). The salad bar? I've never had a bad experience at Jason's Deli. I've been to this location about five times now and it's pretty consistent. I would give it five stars, but I always feel like I spend too much while I'm here. What's good here? Chili or Soup are perfect for cold days. You can actually order half and half if you want a sandwich too. They'll give you half a sandwich and a cup of soup. I've enjoyed the meataballa and the wild salmon wich especially. Both sandwiches taste fresh and are served with chips. The salmon wich had some tasty spicy guacamole on it too. Lets fast forward to the MOST important part though. FREE ICE CREAM AND MUFFINS. YEAH! They have awesomely delicious gingerbread mini muffins which are so tasty. Then for dessert, grab a cone and get some ice cream. I think that's why I always leave happy and full. read more

I have been doing business with Jason's Deli in N. Arlington, TX for many years. It's time they get a great review because they deserve it. I have small orders for work and large orders for work. They have always been polite and friendly and go out of their way to make sure to get it right. With COVID it has been a struggle but they are always honest and let me know when there is trouble. They put the names on all the orders and never tell me that can't do something. My default: half Club Royale + cup of soup = about $8. I love me my croissants and bacon. The chicken pot pie soup is one to try! The little bit of puff pastry on top of the cup of soup is fun and tasty. The salad bar option is great. This is for catering only. I ordered catering two days in a row for my office. The first day was great. They came on time and helped me set everything up nicely. Today, completely different story - arrived 10 minutes late (meaning they came 10 minutes after the 30-minute arrival window had expired), no cream for the coffee I ordered, and two of the dozen cookies were broken and crumbled. I understand there can be traffic at times, but why no cream today or more careful packing of the cookies? Yesterday, I ordered coffee and got cups, cream, and sugar. So, I know cream comes with the coffee. I, also, get that maybe the driving/roads caused the cookies to break and crumble, though maybe better packaging would help. I had to take out the two cookies to make the box look a little nicer for the meeting, which means only 10 cookies for the group to share vs. 12. If this was all just for me, I wouldn't care, but when I'm the one setting up and ordering for an office meeting of 12 people, it looks bad on me. read more
