The inside seemed a bit rundown and dingy Service and getting our food was fast My Mediterranean bowl was very filling and good! I do wish they served more pita bread and cucumbers with it

    Hair in food
    Amanda G.

I eat here often and today I found several pieces of hair in my food. I had a To-go order so I didn't even notice all of the hair until I started eating, it was in my salad and my hummus pictured here. It wasn't just one hair, it was like 5-8 hairs. I'm so disappointed I couldn't enjoy my dinner and I feel like I wasted money on hairy food.

This was a great Turkey wrap, it had everything that I like on a wrap. In the plus side, I like Turkey.

SO disappointed with Jason's Deli. We ordered take out, a potato, soup and a sandwich which cost over $40.00 The potato looked like it had been in the oven for over a week (pictures included) It was disgusting and the soup was cold! When i called the manager, he literally said he did not know what to say. Dont waste your money on this place! I wont ever again.

Look at the time it was ready 11:39 am.

So I went back. I know my bad I should have just went somewhere else. I ordered online, pick up time. 11:44am. Hospital only gives us 30 min for lunch. I sat and waited outside more than 10 minutes for a sandwich that was already done and packaged but the guy behind the at the pick up counter was not helpful and totally clueless about my sandwich being ready when I walked in and paid. Make your own decisions about this place. Mine is that I will have to find another decent sandwich place on the weekends to order from. Plus the dude never apologized for his oversight.

It's my favorite thing on the menu. The Fiesta chicken sandwich is my number two. They have some of the best sugar cookies I've ever had. The thing is, they are always out! I've been several times, and they never have them. I've even been early, and they don't have any. I'm not sure if they're lazy and just don't bake them or if they're discontinued, but it's a real disappointment. This is one reason why I'm giving this shop 4 stars instead of 5. The other reason is they sell cinnamon rolls. I think it's even in their name. The Cinnamon rolls are expensive and aren't fresh. I guess they bake them early and leave them out all day, or they're using the previous days batch. I would skip them and go across the street to Shipleys for something similar. The sandwiches are a little pricey at around $10 for a regular. The large supposedly had twice the calories as the regular, so you would think that it would be about twice the amount of food, but unfortunately it's not. I would estimate that it's about 50 percent the amount, and it sits at $15. I wouldn't recommend getting the large to get a better deal unless you're hungry! This could be just this location sandwich makers, but it's been consistent since I've been going. Even with these issues, I'm giving them 4 stars because ultimately the sandwiches are delicious, and this is what most people are going for.

Walk up counter service with a menu split neatly into cold cut and oven baked sandwiches. Going with the Devito, my mind was thoroughly blown by how flavorful the red sauce and meats were all together, it had a combination of textures from the crusty bread cured cuts that made it fun to chew through every bite. My Stallone was also just such a pleasant mix of flavor with the pesto playing a bigger role on the cold cut options. This is one of the places where I feel like you can spin the wheel and get a winner with whatever fate decides. Things seem pretty easy and affordable here. Portions were pretty big here and around $12-$15 a sandwich, more than enough for a single person with some for a midnight snack later. There's a good bit of seating inside with some red gingham table clothes to eat over. It's worth the visit if your in Montgomery or after a day on the Lake!

I'd have to say, the sandwich was pretty life changing and it's something I want to try to replicate, but likely can't 100%. Although they have many sandwiches to choose from, the Stallone was the one recommended to me. The bread is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and has a concoction of pesto, cheese, tomato and garlic? Inside it's LOADED with capicola, ham, salami, soppresata, and provolone. The sandwich was definitely a flavor bomb and I still think about it til this day. I would love to go back and try some other sandwiches of theirs too!

However, the rest of the staff is up for debate. I am a regular here at Jersey Mike's and I come at least once a week. I ordered the same order every time and there's no discrepancy when I do it with Jaz, but with everyone else, (Hispanic lead guy idk his name it might be Cody) there's always an issue. They can never make the simple accommodations that I ask for. And now just recently I'm being told that I cannot purchase an additional bread roll... when literally two days ago I was able to, now all of a sudden, I'm being told that corporate is not allowing people to purchase bread, which is quite disappointing being that I always spend money here and that corporate does not want to make an extra couple of dollars by me making an extra purchase. It's funny how I cannot buy bread so I have to go to the grocery store across the street in the next block to purchase it but when I asked to sub out ham for pepperoni, then suddenly I have to be charged for that, but I can't be charged for bread. They just want to make it inconvenient for you, but that's OK. I will not be coming to Jersey Mike's anymore. Thanks guys for ruining my go to meal.

We traveled to Galveston to visit the store and restaurant firsthand. For years, we followed Ronnie Maceo's story and were saddened by his passing. Thankfully, his daughter, Concetta, has continued the family legacy. We were fortunate to meet her during our visit. She was incredibly gracious, and spending time with her made the experience even more memorable. The food was absolutely delicious, and we couldn't leave without stocking up on spices and sauces. It's amazing how much history, culture, and tradition are packed into this one place. The gumbo roux is the perfect rich, dark color, and the flavor is everything you hope for--authentic, hearty, and reminiscent of New Orleans. Concetta also shared the weekly specials, giving us even more reasons to return. Needless to say, every future trip to Galveston will include a stop at Maceo's. I highly recommend adding Maceo's to your bucket list. See you there!
