I am a fan of Einstein Bagels. For all their faults it is reliable. You can get a decent bagel, well-made, and a variety of coffee drinks and it is not super overpriced or hipster. Their regular drip coffee is actually pretty good as well. They used to have more flavors and variety, but I think they have cut back over the years to save on costs and waste. Too bad. I was a fan of the hazelnut flavor. But, you can get a solid lox and Bagel sandwich at about $10, which is more than I can say for Cassidy's and the like. read more

Ordered breakfast via a third party app. Everything came just as we ordered it. I got the Lox sandwich combo which came with 2 hash browns and a blueberry muffin. The hash browns were really good. I like how it has cheddar in the middle. The blueberry muffin was very moist but also had a good crumb to it. I got the lox sandwich with garlic bagel. The bagel was very garlic forward which I love and it was nice a toasty so it had a good crunch to it. My only negative about the sandwich is I wish they cut it in half so it's easier to bite. Also there wasn't much smoked salmon. I wish there was more so I had salmon with every bite. And the cream cheese got pretty messy. Overall, pretty good. I would order the lox sandwich again. Yummy Egg Sandwich and Iced Chai Latte! I got the Ham & Swiss Egg Sandwich on an Onion Bagel. The bagel's onion flavor was pretty good, it's not overpowering, and it tastes good with the ham, swiss, and egg. The ham, swiss, and egg tasted great. There were no issues there. There was no espresso the day I went, but it's okay because I got to try the Iced Chai Latte. The Iced Chai Latte tasted great, not too milky or too much cinnamon. The employees were very kind and helpful! I had two different employees take my order and help me at the register. They were both so nice. I had a different employee hand me my food and drink, and they were so helpful when I asked which drink spout was water. The cafe was really nice and clean. There's a lot of space, tons of chairs, tables, and booth seating. There were two different sections for ordering and paying which was a bit weird, but if it works for them, that's great! I would come here again! There's tons of different bagel sandwiches you can get, lots of fun drinks, and comfy seating. You never have to stand around and wait for a table. Looking for a new breakfast spot! This used to be my go-to. My boyfriend and I would come here once a week. Unfortunately, that's no longer gonna be the case. This morning I was driving to work and decided to surprise my boyfriend by picking up our usual bagels and coffee (he works next to me). I was in a rush, so I called to place a pickup order. The employee who answered sounded annoyed from the start, as if I was inconveniencing him just by calling. I politely asked if I could place an order for pickup, and he responded with, "Uhhhh... you could do it online," in a very condescending and rude tone. I asked, still politely, "So I can only place the order online?" -- keeping in mind I was literally driving to the shop and couldn't safely place an online order at that moment. He replied with a sharp, dismissive "Yes," like I was stupid for even asking. At that point, I turned around and went straight to work instead. Had he been polite, I would have just gone in and ordered in person. I called my boyfriend and let him know, and we've decided we'll be finding a new breakfast spot. If phone orders aren't allowed there's a professional and courteous way to communicate that. A little customer service goes a long way. I was told I could wait for a fresh batch, which I agreed to without issue. While waiting, I noticed my iced coffee sitting on the counter already prepared. Since I had to wait additional time due to the bagels being unavailable, I assumed my drink would be freshly made when the rest of my order was ready. After the extended wait, I was handed the iced coffee that had been sitting there the entire time. I politely asked for it to be remade, and it was, but I was told that in the future drinks would not be remade. I found that response disappointing. The delay was not due to anything on my end, and I waited patiently and understandingly for the bagels. I tried these bagels after a hospital dropped some off as a gift and I thought they were so good. So I came in today to share some with my family. Although, I looked through the menu, it was my first time ordering so it was a little rocky. Jake helped me out and I started off with the order and Jake asked if I wanted a bakers dozen (since my order was at 6 blueberry and 6 plain) I said yes and ordered a wheat bagel to complete the bakers dozen. He asked if I wanted them with cream cheese and I say no. In my defense, I say No thinking they are going to put cream cheese on all these damn bagels. He proceeded to walk away and I told him that I wanted to add more to the order and ordered 2 sandwiches. This interaction with Jake was not friendly but it also was not horrible he seemed really grumpy. So based on the layout, I proceeded to pay on the other end of the store. I asked the cashier "Do I just get the tubs of cream cheese now?" She said "Yes" so I did and finished paying. I took a seat and I was looking at the menu and was called up back to the register. I kid you not Jake says in a rude tone " That's why I asked you over there if you wanted cream cheese" Honestly, because of his attitude I told him not to refund me that I would just pay for the cream cheese alone. This interaction made me feel like an idiot because I could not order correctly. So as he is ringing me up for the cream cheese I say " I'm sorry if that made you upset." I pay and he walks away. I ask the cashier who was still there if she could print me both receipts. She apologized and I went on my way. When I got home I noticed that none of the bagels were cut. I am not sure if I am suppose to asked for them to be but now I know. The food was delicious and have no complaints on that end. But man Jake really made me feel like I was the problem because he was so rude. My husband had the farmhouse sandwich and it was good but not great. The eggs could use seasoning and the sauce was poorly dispersed, making it a pretty messy sandwich that shouldn't have been. I had an Asiago w onion chive shmear and it was good, but could have used a more generous shmear. The clerk forgot our coffees and we had to ask for them a could of times. The person taking our order didn't seem informed on how the rewards system worked for redeeming offers. The coffee station was depleted of 3 of its 4 varieties. While I understand one or two, 75% of their coffee canteens were totally empty. The win here was that our dog enjoyed her doggy bagel! Yummyyyyy. I've been driving by this location for years after my son's swimming lessons and commented many times about picking up bagels but never did. The side view of the bagel shop looks dark and unwelcoming so I always assumed it was closed by the time we were leaving. That side shop view just doesn't do them justice. Today we decided to go grab a bite before lessons and woah what a pleasant surprise. It was large and clean inside with lots of seating. We went on a Sunday afternoon so it was pretty quiet - no line. I saw there were no plain bagels left and thought they were out But they were like wait a minute because a new batch just came out of the oven. Sheeeesh Service was friendly. Parking was good because there's a parking lot. Oh and on to the bagels themselves. I think they are delicious. Sorry to say that most bagels I've eaten on the west coast are kinda horrible. The plain bagel was really lame, wish I could have swapped it out for the everything bagel. The bagel was ok, pretty hard, I definitely had better at other locations. Unfortunately, this was my first and last time here. I ordered the 'All Nighter,' a breakfast bagel sandwich, but the experience didn't go as hoped. They were out of the hash brown bagel it normally comes with, and when I asked for a jalapeño cheese bagel as a substitute, they didn't have that either. I eventually settled for a four-cheese bagel. Online was not working and I called to make them aware it was not letting me place the order for 5/6/2024, therefore I called to place order over the phone, and was told no, refer back to website. I placed an online order the night before. I got to the store and my order was completed before the designated pickup time. It was so convenient. I ordered the half dozen egg sandwiches and they were so delicious. I ordered the caramel coffee drink and that was so delicious as well. It wasn't too icy. It was perfect. I love bagels and bagel sandwiches, so when I came across this place on a food delivery app I decided to try it. I ordered an avocado veggie sandwich for lunch (I am a vegetarian) and a couple bagels for breakfast the next morning. But what I received was a sandwich with some kind of meat on it. I obviously can't eat that so I had to throw it out(it also smelled awful). The side of chips the sandwich was supposed to come with was also missing. The only thing correct in the order were the extra bagels I got for breakfast, but they are the tiniest bagels I've ever seen.
