They worked through and around them to make everything work out in the end. I really appreciate their flexibility and expertise to navigate all the roadblocks without changing the scope of work. After the repairs, I asked him how much of the $460 was for parts and how much was for labor. He said about 50% for each. I then let him know that I found the part for $25. He responded that he doesn't buy the parts himself. So I paid $25 for parts and $435 for 15 minutes of work. Yes, I wish I had gone with another company.

Very cool. Tyler arrived and he started systematically diagnosing our system. During the diagnosis he clearly explained what was going on and how he was going to systematically look at failures. He was also very tolerant of our inquisitive cat. Long story short - our AC is back up. He walked me through the repair costs and cautioned us about the age of our AC and furnace system - not in a salesy way but very consultative. Today I had Jose Arroyo come to my house to service my furnace and air conditioning unit as part of their summer service program. Because of PG&E power outages, he explained that both my furnace and A/C unit does not have a surge protector incase PG&E turned off the power and then turned it back on. To avoid any problems, he recommended that I have surge protectors be installed. The price for the surge protectors was pretty reasonable. Because I was had the Gold member for the yearly maintenance program, I was given a 10% discount for the surge protectors. We had Fuse Service install a new HVAC system for our home in June, replacing an old furnace and…read moreA/C unit that had run its course. This included removal of the old units and ductwork, new ducting throughout, a two-zone ducted heat pump system with two new air handlers, an outdoor heat pump, and a ceiling-mounted cassette unit for our primary suite (a room that gets a lot of direct sun and had always been tough to keep cool with the old system). Teodor, our project manager, did a great job assessing our home and specifying the system. The installation crew, Azamat and Val, did excellent, careful work removing the old system, running new ductwork, and installing all the new equipment. The install took about 7 days. Communication was great throughout; scheduling, installation, and permitting all went smoothly.
