Came across Jeff's table while looking for a sandwich place on google. I think they were listed as one of the best sandwich places in an LA article. Btw, their phone number on yelp/google is wrong because it was a completely different store that picked up and he sounded like he gets this a lot. You have to order through their website. I don't know what they did but the Jeff's special was amazing. Melty cheesy goodness, the Reuben just falls apart in your mouth, and the freshness from the sauerkraut. So I got the Jeff Special and got extra meat since the pictures were so small and spent over $20 for a sandwich that didn't even include a pickle. It's got zero finesse and is just a massive grease bomb with no real distinct flavors. Cannot recommend it at all. Do yourself a favor and get the pastrami from Oinkster instead. The owner at Oinkster learned how to make pastrami from Al Langer himself and the difference is night and day. Will not eat this again ever. read more

We went here when we saw Jeff's special Rueben sandwich in Eater.com article about it 11/25/2025. I got this sandwich and it didn't look anything like the Eater picture of the same. Mine was dry, overcooked, and greasy (but of course it was a pastrami sandwich) $8 less than Langers with extra meat here. I'm not sure it deserved a review calling it one of the top 20 sandwiches in Los Angeles. My son got the Hainan Turkey Salad and wife got Yazu Kosho Turkey sandwiches. They were complaining because there was a lemon slice in the turkey sandwich. I was actually surprised that the sandwiches were so bad because all the other reviews on Yelp are so good about this place. I'm not really sure what I ate, but the dirty baby is probably the most delicious, messy sandwich I've ever eaten. It was oily and cheesy and I ate all of it. The restaurant is located at the back of a liquor store, but just follow the red table signs and you'll find it. Seating is just a few red tables outside of the liquor store and there's only street parking so my wife and I ended up parking about a block away. I'm assuming it was Jeff, but a very nice man came up to us while we were eating and started talking about the sandwich. Overall, my wife and I had a great experience and I'm very interested in their pastrami sandwich so I'll have to come back soon. read more

Going to keep this one short and sweet. Price: $17 for this sandwich (dirty baby) is absolutely insane and can get way better sandwiches for less than $15 at plenty of other places. Taste: If you like a heavy grease bomb of a sandwich with no balance to it this is for you. Just loaded with tons of cheese and a ridiculous amount of chili oil its all you taste. Damn damn damn, this sandwich place has been on my radar for a while, and it did not disappoint! I was really skeptical about it being in the back of a liquor store, but now that I had it, I totally judged the book by its cover!! Ordered: Dirty baby 10/10! It has everything you want in a sandwich, crunch, gooey-ness, it's a flavor BOMB! for sure Yuzu Kosho 9/10 my daughter loves "soft" sandwiches, that's just what you get with this one! One critique it could've used some more lemon or yuzu, that wasn't coming through too much. Hainan Chicken Salad 10/10 my husband said this was a good in-between, some crunch, some soft, all flavor! We tried the potato salad, pickles, and coleslaw, and sadly didn't like any of them. They are quite disappointing after you've had the sandwich. They're not complementary and just kind a blah in my opinion. Save your calories for the sandwiches and goodies in the liquor store! The sandwich counter itself is in the back of Flask, and the people at Flask were the nicest and most entertaining in guiding my friend and I to the elusive Jeff's Table. After ordering in the back, I bought drinks and chips at Flask before heading outside to sit where the Jeff's Table staff brought out the sandwiches to me. this review is for Jeff's table, not the liquor store itself because if it was for the liquor store, it would be a one star!! First time here, totally a destination place for me -challenged parking. I had to ask her three times to speak up because I could not hear her monotone voice . There was no welcome. Would you like anything to drink without drinks or upfront? Nothing , zero customer service as far as I'm concerned. I saw two other young ladies behind the counter in the cooking area made eye contact. I have visited twice already...and both times they were unable to make hot sandwiches. Is it just my luck or is the stove never working??? The first time I was able to get the burrata sandwich and it was amazing. Thankfully it was the one I wanted and didn't need to be heated up/cooked. What a great day to drive out to Jeff's Table from Redondo Beach! It was actually such a treat for me since I was celebrating and got off my diet for the day and officially had a "free" day! I was so lucky I found a great parking spot across the street. I was walked to the back of the liquor store to find this hidden gem! I ordered Jeff's Special which is a deliciously made Reuben! It was perfect. I thought it would be bigger than what it was but I'm actually happy it wasn't huge. It was just right and perfectly made! I wish I could have tried all of them, but sadly I only have one stomach. Since the name of the place is Jeff's Table, I had to get the Jeff's Special which is a Reuben sandwich. I would say it was on the saltier side than I normally would have liked, but it was still good enough for me to devour everything. My boyfriend ordered the Yuzu Kosho Chicken salad, which was super light and refreshing and it was a good choice to order with the Jeff's Special. I'm so ready to try the Hainan-style Chicken Salad Sandwich, which was my runner up choice. I think another thing I liked about my experience at Jeff's Table was that I was able to buy drinks and chips directly from the liquor store, and there was a lot of choices.
