My husband went to this location on August 17th in the afternoon. There were 3 employees behind the counter but only one was making sandwiches even though there was a line. One making the sandwiches, one female watching him make the sandwiches and a third watching both of them. First they ignored my husband and took the order from the guy behind him. They got a sandwich order wrong and opened up the sandwich, removed the unwanted item, put the sandwich back together and tried to hand it to the customer. This was done without gloves by the female "trainer". When my husband finally got to place his order, the "manager " kept saying to my husband "I told you don't touch the glass". I could go on about other things said and done during the visit but the bottom line is that the employees in management positions are extremely unprofessional and they obviously do not practice clean hygiene food preparation. This place used to be my ALL TIME favorite sandwich spot! But now... the last 3-4 times I've gone, they've made my order incorrectly. I've voiced my concerns and nobody reached out to me. They made the right sandwich, but I ordered extra oil & seasoning and extra lettuce tomatoes and onions and all that jazz. And not only did they not put the extra... they made it super DRY to begin with. Like hello? I ordered extra because I can't stand a meaty sandwich that is DRY! Extra lettuce onion and tomato? NOPE, instead they skimped on lettuce and I didn't even taste an onion. Let alone extra. Just bad! This is specifically for the location at Topanga Square in Chatsworth. I'd go to the one in Northridge, but the guy that works there just stands behind the counter with his tongue sticking out, spaced out, and has you repeat the order like 50 brajillion times, and still doesn't do a thorough job making your sandwich. Come ON Jersey Mikes! I used to rant and rave about you guys. I completely cut out Subway from my life because...why? When there's Jersey Mikes! But now? I mean, how do you do Mike's Way...the WRONG way? I didn't taste any red wine vinegar, it was dry. So what did you do, count the oil droplets and ration out like 5 drops? Ok, I'm babbling now. Jersey Mikes always has good Subs, it just taste better then other places, but the prices are a little higher then usual, but worth it.

Never coming to this location again. I've said this so many times and always went back but not after this last time. Every time I go in the staff aren't that friendly and you can tell aren't trained well. They take forever to make a sandwich even when there's no line. The last time I went I think the guy helping me was high, being as he asked me 4 times what I wanted on my sandwich. I love their subs especially when you just want a break from plain ole subway. Everything on their menu is pretty tasty. I enjoy their Reuben, Club supreme, Roast beef (made on premises), and Philly steak (Cooked fresh on the griddle) subs. Always clean and organized. Their service is always upbeat. I think the review by Jeffrey is right, the lady in there is not as chipper as the guys. They also offered me complimentary cookies while I was waiting, how sweet is that? IT IS CUT FRESH IN FRONT OF YOU. You can taste the freshness of the meat when you bite into the sandwich. The bread is freshly baked in house and tastes awesome; not so doughy like the other place! We love our sandwiches the "Mike's way" They have this relish made of several kinds of peppers which gives the sandwich and extra kick. The staff are the friendliest and politest. The only thing they need to pay more attention to is making sure tables are wiped off. Too often we had to do it ourselves. I haven't had a mike's sub in a while, I've never been to this one. The service was completely top notch. Enough for me to leave a decent tip. I like who they ring the bell and EVERYONE thanks you for the gratuity. So, the service aspect scored a 10. Then once I went back home to eat, the sandwich blew the "other brand" out of the water. I love walking to this place occasionally. They are very friendly and the subs are much better than Subway and I would say a little better than Quiznos. For a chain sandwich/sub shop, this place is great. The meatballs are solid and the Italian sub is fantastic Mike's Way. I'm happy to see they not only allow you to forego the typical mayo/mustard options for oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper but also ask if you'd like to have it. Chatsworth Jersey Mike's gets 2 thumbs up. This is my first visit to this location and I alwaus include extra meat on all of my sandwiches whenever possible. My last 2 orders from Jersey Mike's from 2 different locations (Granada Hills & Northridge) have shafted me by not including the extra meat that I did pay for. Out of all the options in the area to have lunch, I had to come here. I've always chosen Jersey Mike's over Subway but on Feb 6, I didn't have a good experience. The subs are good but I didn't like the service. The girl at the counter threw everything at me, the food, the receipt, the pen to sign, and told me to get my cup for the drink instead of giving it to me, with a bitchy attitude, that is why I didn't leave a tip. It was just ok. They add way too much lettuce. The bacon is obviously not fresh whatsoever. It literally compromised the flavor of my overall sandwich. I had to take bacon out to salvage it. How can you screw up bacon!? My guess is that they use precooked bacon that is refrigerated for who knows how long. Either way, gross. Don't order bacon on anything. The way they make the subs, 5 different people doing each ingredient, is messy and obnoxious. Why cant one person make one sub? It was a crowded mess.. The staff were making sandwiches out of order, so people behind me in line ended up getting served first and I got served before people that were in front of me. It was kind of embarrassing how sloppy the service was. The flavor of the turkey club was ok, sans bacon... But not great. I did like the herbs they sprinkled on the sub.. Have tried Jersey Mike's a couple of times. Overall there sandwiches are ok, but expensive for their portions. There tuna sandwich is pretty good, and there breads are fresh but to much dough. This is one of those places you don't realize how awesome it is until you try to explain to someone about how great the subs are...they don't believe you...you take them...and then as that first bite hits their taste buds...they give you that look...being the classy guy/gal you are...you simply return the look.
