The staff here is so amazing. I felt compelled to give the store some praise today. I randomly wanted a turkey sandwich, so Jersey Mike's here I come, never been to this location before. As I was walking in this family walks out and they were just raving about how well run the store is. And I was like that's such a weird comment to make lol. When I walk in I was greeted with genuine conversation the staff here is so friendly and easy to talk to. there's a really good team here they should be really proud of themselves. I've been coming to Jersey Mikes ever since we moved to Orange County. They are consistent and sandwiches are great. I take all my friends here. Place is always clean. I remember taking a friend here who had never been to Jersey Mikes and when they asked him "Do you want it Mike's Way", he said "No, I don't want it Microwaved" . It's now a big joke when we come here. The store is consistent from location to location, but I've gotten to know the employees over on Beach/Edinger and go to this location the most. Immediately upon entering they welcome you loudly and ask if you're picking up an order or placing an order and help you right away. When placing my order, the team members making my sandwich always personalize the conversation. This is hands down the nicest, cleanest, and friendliest Jersey Mikes I have ever been to. Greeted with a nice hello and welcome upon entering- they are lightening fast, have a smile on their face- it is really pleasantville once you enter this location. VASTLY different than other Jersey Mike locations I have been to- Whoever the manager is here- props to you for keeping morale high and your employees happy because it shines through in their interactions and making of sandwiches. Well, they certainly don't specialize in Philly cheese steaks. aside from that my experience was, not cool. my co-worker placed a door dash order and since it was taking forever, he changed the option to pick up since it was a hot sandwich. i asked the employee if they would be so kind to re-make the sandwich that was supposed to be hot. he said sure, no problem. then I saw an interaction with his supervisor/manager Luke is the name I heard. Luke was clearly overwhelmed but instead of going with the decision his employee made, he reprimanded him and told him he had no choice but to re-make his sandwich. he had no authorization and such and such, okay (but I'm standing right here Luke). As I was paying the cashier and the one that offered to remake my sandwich got the sandwiches mixed up, but no biggie. let them know they were doing a great job, and I felt bad for the way they were being treated, even giving them a tip. Luke came around the counter to explain the order was never placed for delivery and I told him sorry, I didn't place it. I was just trying to get my co-worker his $16 sandwich back to him nice and warm. He must have wanted to make sure we made the mistake, also no biggie. Got back to the office, and the sandwich wasn't warm, they forgot, I guess. He told the guy in front of me that if he got the order wrong to ask for Luke. I'm not that guy, but I'm the girl that was in front of him. So Luke if you are reading this, you got the order wrong and hopefully, this humbles you to treat your employees with respect-it's a two-way street. I won't be back, my experience wasn't what I had hoped for. but glad I finally tried it out. read more

My son is a frequent patron of Jersey mikes on 17th street, costa mesa but I just thought I should warn Apply Pay users that he was charged twice for a sub. Apparently it's an apply pay issue but when I called to dispute it, they said to wait a few days for the second charge to fall off. When I checked his account a few days later it had gone through so he basically paid twice for 1 sandwich/chips/drink. So I called again and now he said without the receipt he could not do anything for me..no refund, gift car, etc. The manager stated to contact my bank which I did which isn't my banks fault. I feel like it's BAD business/customer service on Jersey Mike's behalf. So I asked the guy "How many people use Apple Pay and how much is Jersey Mike's profiting from it? That's BS. We have no issue with the sandwiches, they are great, it's the principle of being honest as a company that I have a problem with. We now paid twice the price of 1 sandwich which is a RIPOFF. read more
