This is the 5th TIME IN A ROW that I have ordered online at this location and my order has been short and wrong. I called 6 tomes in a row pressi g 7 to get someone on the phone and it ranng then went to a busy signal each time. Then I called for 7th time and Joe answered saying due to the store being busy he couldn't talk right now and said he would return my call in 5 mins and just hung up before I could say anything. I waiting about 15 mins NO CALL FROM JOE OR ANYONE so I called again. I do not recall the gentleman who answered but he stated he was the manager and all he could do was refund my money tomorrow because he doesn't have the credentials to do so or give me a free sub card for my next visit. The worst customer service ever! I order a mini tuna get home and their is a toothpick or stick in the tuna. When I called back to the store the female than answered says hello so I proceeded to ask if this is Jersey mikes long story short the manager is busy and they would need to take my name and number and call me back in five min. No call received at all however the lack of urgency is unbelievable and the fact that no one apologized or anything shows what a joke this place really is . You have kids running your restaurant during off peak which is normally busy considering NO POWER in Glastonbury. I stopped in here tonight while traveling for business. I eat at jersey Mike's frequently back home and knew id get a good sub. I was blown away with the attitude and general positivity of the staff working. Anthony is an absolute all Star, super friendly, respectful, and kept the whole crew working like a well oiled machine. Unless they go above and beyond what you would get at any other location, I normally don't give reviews to franchise restaurants. Having said that, this business executed exceptionally considering the volume of customers they serve. After being told from Jersey Mike's in Rocky Hill, that no bread was available only wraps, I decided to drive down to Glastonbury's Jersey Mike's. I asked if bread was available and was told that they also were almost out of bread until the manager stepped in and made a suggestion with using the mini breads that was left apart from offering the wraps. This store truly delivered and took the extra mile to not only satisfy my needs but also 3 others who were part of my order. Yes, I did drive a few miles and spent some gas driving from one store to the next but in the end the trip was well worth it. Went today for a quick lunch as we were on a time crunch. When we ordered the subs we were told to wait till further up the line to say which toppings we wanted. Ok. Unfortunately, that never occurred. They wrapped mine up in the back so I never even got the chance to say what I did or did not want. I fell in love with this place getting the roast beef which is cooked by them in house. Now I love just about all of their subs going Mikes Way onions, lettuce, tomato with the "juice" (oil and vinegar) and spices...simply delish! The hot subs, specially the cheesesteaks are on point! This was my first time going to a jersey mikes and I have gotten a great impression of this chain. I ended up going to this place while in town with a couple of friends. Right when we walked in, we were welcomed. The environment was great! The entire restaurant was clean and the staff is extremely friendly! I ordered a veggie sub and had ham, tomato and lettuce. The sandwich was delicious! The veggies were fresh and they put just the right amount of each ingredient. The bread wasn't soggy at all and was nice and fresh. While ordering, the staff making my food was very polite and accommodating to my order, even if I was changing up the item on the menu. The sandwich was wrapped up nicely and the cooked sandwich's were brought nicely to your table. This is a very nice, family owned jersey mikes and I will definitely be coming back more than once! read more

This place is OK, but I don't see it becoming our go-to place. The parking lot is a challenge, they share it with two other chain restaurants so when we came in I had to drop my spouse and daughter off and circle around before I could park. There were a few people in line ahead of us and the line moved at a decent pace, similar to a Subway restaurant model. All subs come "Mike's Way" with oil and vinegar, signature spices, lettuce, tomato and sliced onions. You are supposed to say "I'll have a turkey sub, Mike's way", or "ham and cheese sub, Mikes Way but hold the onions", etc. when they are inverting the huge squeeze bottles of oil or vinegar your heart will sink thinking the sub is getting drenched, but when you get the sub it may be dry (one of ours was very dry). They put a lot of meat and cheese on each one, and I like the texture of shredded lettuce, but the onion was not pronounced and the spices weren't anything special, either. A regular size sub is about 8" long and was almost $9 with tax, and drinks from the cooler or soda fountain are a few bucks a piece, so we found it overpriced for what we got. Between the food, the price and the parking we found it to be an OK experience, but nothing out of the ordinary. read more

I visited at lunch on May 6. I live in the area, and have never tried Jersey Mike's. What started out as a lovely experience, clean place, nice people and fresh ingredients, went sideways once I paid. I've never been in before. I don't know the drill. The person on the register succeeded in ruining what could have been a long relationship. We support many local restaurants and since I am usually next door at your competitor where they are unbelievably kind, I was looking forward to a long overdue first visit. Things were great until I met the lady who rang me out around noon. She seemed very angry I was in the store spending money. I'm sure she was probably busy with a million other things and having a bad day, but she was horribly and inexcusably unkind. I'm sure she is feeling great about treating me and my business like I was stupid. She asked what I had - I (being a newbie) said "Roast Beef". This lady apparently hated my response and angrily said (along with her nasty tone) "WHAT, a number SIX? I apologized (which I shouldn't have had to do) and even that didn't get a change in her horrible attitude. Then she was upset because it was loud, and I couldn't hear her that well through a mask and plexiglass. My credit card needed two swipes and she actually snapped at me then. A person can still see an angry face behind a mask. I wasn't nice either by then but I was the one who dropped in for a nice fresh sandwich which I chose to buy from your store. I'm sure I looked like just another stupid customer to this mean person. Delicious subs, fresh ingredients, prepared right in front of you (meat and cheese sliced or cooked to order!) Every time I visit the food is outstanding, and all of the staff are working SO hard and efficiently, all while being friendly and very accommodating of any substitutions or allergies. I am always so impressed by the staff - there may be 10-12 behind the counter during lunch rush and they have a well-oiled machine of an assembly line - hats off to all of you! I always try to leave them a tip :) Also... Gluten free bread is available and they will prepare it out back for allergies. The place is clean, including bathrooms, even have a couple TVs usually with a sports game on. Not sure why the bad reviews. I just had the big kahuna and it was awesome. It came off the grill quickly, the 2 guys working were nice too. I don't know how that one reviewer can compare this place to subway, it's so much better.... Now I usually love Jersey Mikes and will choose it over all the other sub shops but something has to change. This really grossed me out big time. Last week I ordered a turkey and a cold cut combo. I had the turkey. I get home and eat half. Then because I dont want to eat alot of bread I start to eat some of the other half but take the bread off. Then I find a black hair under the lettuce!! Absolutely flipping disgusting!!! At least I saw it though but OMG!! WEAR HAIR NETS LIKE THEY USED TO DO ALL THE TIME FOR F's SAKE!!! And wear your damn mask up over your nose too!!! That shoulod have been a red flag for me! I also had to walk out of another location because one person was conversing with the customer behind me and with no mask on speaking literally on top of my sandwich as its waiting to get condiments put on it.
