    Hot tea to go
    Dominique D.

Panera Bread is a chain and has a plethora of locations. I had a hankering for a nice hot tea and that's exactly what I got. It is a Togo location and not very many places to sit. The space itself was clean and very well kept. There is not much interaction with servers (being that it is a to go location), but my order arrived right on time. The restrooms are locked behind a key code for customers only. I would definitely stop here again.

Let's just say.... It did the job. It was a hot day... Traffic in the area (West L.A.) was horrendous... And there really wasn't a lot of options to choose from. But it was lunch time and I had to eat something. So I spotted Panera Bread and I went with it. First off, the area is not the greatest. Second, this was by far the weirdest Panera I've ever come across. No indoor or outdoor table seating whatsoever (not that I'd want to stay around this area anyway)... And it just didn't give the normal "Panera Vibe". You order at a self serve digital kiosk and then either stand or sit on a wooden bench and watch your food literally being made in front of you by their team members. The whole experience just left me wondering if I'd ever return to any Panera again. The grilled cheese was just o.k., like I said earlier... "it did the job". Maybe I've gotten spoiled living in the suburbs or maybe I've just gotten more critical in my "old age" but this is definitely not the 'Panera' I used to know.

Not Panera making a comeback! Lol. Didn't even realize they'd opened a location here but I'm happy they're here. It's more of a pickup location rather than dine-in and chill spot and I love that. I ordered online through the app to pickup, swung by and asked the staff for my order. They had it tucked safely away so no one else would take it off the shelf. The manager or shift lead was super nice and she had great customer service. $8.29 for a half sando, cup of soup, and bread? Perfect sized meal for me!

This is a pick up only location, online order was a breeze. They were very friendly and efficient here. Very clean and well run space. Plenty of easy parking.

This location just opened within walking distance of my office so we decided to give it a try. Unlike other locations, this is purely a to go location but honestly I think that works out well since people are in and out pretty quickly. Also, the parking lot here is not huge so it's good to be able to just hop in, grab your order and get going. That said, it's pretty spacious for a takeout place. There's a bunch of tablet kiosks for you to order in the store or you can order ahead online or via app. When you arrive, there's a large area where pickup orders are waiting as well as a TV screen showing which orders are already done and which are still being prepared. There is also a member of the staff helping distribute the pickup orders and she was super friendly and helpful. I honestly haven't had Panera Bread in a long time but my co-worker really loves their soup. I ordered a Chipotle Chicken Avo Melt and a Strawberry Poppyseed Salad. Both were really good! I especially loved the salad. It was really more of a fruit cup crossed with salad greens and super refreshing. I really like the poppyseed dressing. Will definitely be coming here and again and probably ordering catering for office lunch.

Bacon Mac & Cheese yummy but expensive for what you get.

First time at this Panera and it wasn't great. I'll try again in the future. Hopefully it'll be better. Firstly the price: $25.26 for a tiny cup of soup and a mac n cheese w/ bacon bits is just too high! Holy cow that's a lot of money for just average comfort food. Next, they're out of pumpkin-shaped cookies. Cookies are probably one of their most profitable items and they were out. They spent a grip on advertising the cookies because I see them everywhere, just couldn't buy them. Bread bowl was missing from the order. When I inquired they gave me a bread bowl but it was cold. Other Panera restaurants have warm bread bowls. Broccoli soup was super watery. Bread roll was very hard and chewy. The staff was nice so that's a plus but I only saw two people so maybe they were understaffed.

To go only. They are fast so that's cool. But the only thing Panera is good for is free WiFi. Not there $15 sandwiches that taste terrible.

I would recommend the spot, they have a parking lot that they share with F45 so depending on when you come, could be full but you can always park on Sepulveda. Food was fantastic, I like the garlic yogurt sauce with the Mamani and the tuna salad was delicious. They have protein shakes (they're right across from F45 so genius move on their end) with the option of whey or pea protein. Seems like a new local business so definitely go to give your support! The staff is really friendly and nice. Biggest tip: if you're walking or didn't park in the garage, the entrance to the place is a doorbell you ring on the gate next to the bus stop. I circled around twice until I finally noticed that.

It was more so a sweet pistachio milk with a hint of matcha. Pistachio flavor was good though. A solid option if you want a matcha, but don't want a "real" matcha lol. To eat, the baba's chicken caesar wrap and that was okay as well. It tasted pretty healthy which I do like, but a lot of the components made it feel like I was eating cardboard. The creamy sauce did help though and I loved the crunchy and refreshing side salad. Interior and bathrooms are pretty clean with a good amount of seating, tables, and outlets. The baristas here were super nice and welcoming. The music can get a bit loud though especially the one coming from the fitness room it's connected to. To park, you just need to follow the signs inside the building for the free covered parking. Solid study spot with decent drinks and food. I would consider coming back.

Their mozzarella sandwich is a masterpiece with Fresh Ovoline Mozzarella, Avocado, Alfalfa Sprouts, Pickled Red Onion and a delicious Za'atar Spread. What makes it stand out as one of the best sandwiches in LA is the bread. They make their own focaccia several times a day and it is divine. Probably the only other place that can dare to match their creations is La Zucca at the Beverly Hills Cheese Store. Some of our other favorites is the tuna sandwich. Service is always on point and the sandwich travels well for consuming it at home. There isn't a ton of space to sit, but there is some counter style seating. Tip: Their menu is limited by choice. Check their Daily specials (Sandwich of the Day) for inspiration. They have 3 kids sandwiches (all are meat based). Tip: The biggest challenge is parking, sometimes metered parking is available. Otherwise, park for free in neighborhood streets away from Montana. It's a pleasant walk.

We liked it so much that we made a plan to come back next week. So we went to today and I ordered a BLT with turkey added, no problem. My girlfriend asked for the veggie wrap in a sandwich form and the guy at the register said "we don't do modifications". My girlfriend responded by saying they were able to do it last time so could you check. He looked fairly new and had trouble putting in my order in the register since I modified it by adding turkey. So he went to the back and just asked, do we do modifications? To which the guy in the back said no. She's vegan and that's all she can have off the menu so she ended up not getting anything and she was bummed since she really liked the sandwich they made last time. So we won't be coming back here and this place gets one star based on the customer service. It's a sandwich shop, if it's an extra charge to put a veggie wrap into a sandwich no problem. But the hard NO when it was made last time is PRETTY LAME for a sandwich shop not being able to make a veggie sandwich.
