Food order was wrong with ingredients. Skimped on toppings. Disappointing for the cost.

Hey Lucy! There really isn't anything to talk about! The Jersey Mike Company needs to start using better meats, (something I'm certain you have no decision making authority over). Close your eyes and taste each of the over processed meats being used and there is Very little difference in the flavor profiles. Big fan of Jersey Mike's!Ordered four regular subs and we all enjoyed! three of us had the #6 roast beef and provolone..plenty of rare delicious meat and tasty cheese..bread extremely fresh..Mike's Way gives them a lot of extra flavor. One of us had the #7..turkey breast and provolone. Again..no complaints. Where they need to up their game is in the time it takes to make the sandwiches. Too s-l-o-w. the ladies working there were all extremely nice and friendly. It was around 2:30 in the afternoon..not terribly crowded..but it was just plain pokey. One lady slices the bread, meat and cheese...one puts on the ingredients....one gets the drinks..one runs the cash register. The first lady half-way through asks the next person in line what they want while still getting mine ready. just leads to confusion. organize the ordering process and they'll have the best sub shop in the area! read more

I usually love jersey mikes but my latest experience was sub par. I ordered the #9 but to my surprise there was no bacon on it. The service was fine and the place is nice but not getting what I ordered is quite disappointing. I wish I could have a better memory of my experience but this puts a damper on my view of the establishment. 2 stars, I think I've tried enough of this place. read more

We tried it when they first opened and it was Awful, I got a tuna and when I got home to eat it (not that far away) the bread was beyond soggy . It was mushy baby barf all over the place abs still dripping some kind of liquid. My daughters was just as bad. My husbands always re warms his dinner later than us so the oven must have dried his out.We thought it was just the grand opening , and being crowded , so he convinced me to give you guys one more try. The second time was just as bad as the first, ( I wasn't dumb enough to get tuna again). Horrible!! When my dog and cats will not touch the meat, you have a problem, (they are barn cats, they eat everything!!) So from now on they are off our go to place. If you don't get it "Mikes way" what ever that is? No one could explain it. You get no condiments on it. read more

I specifically went here for a fresh sandwich. I have many food allergies and after specifying that I would not like vinegar, the person preps my sandwich on a wet vinegar chopping board. They did graciously make my sandwich a second time on the clean board and I was very appreciative as I was able to enjoy my lunch. read more

Used to be awesome . It WAS. My favorite place . Im waiting for them to either hire people that dont care if they are TIPPED. For making a sandwich . I have had problems with a couple employees actually holding my order back because i could not afford to tip . On a fixed income its not in the cards . . When i kept going up to the SAME EMPLOYEE . With long dark straight hair . She asked my name and pretended to not know if im a male or female , called me michelle and mispronounced my name oblver snd obmver . I pulled out my iphone let her read my otder off the screen . She then walked away like she had printed the ticket , but never did . Pretended to not be able to find my ticket , but thats because she NEVER PRINTED IT UP OR GOT RID OF IT . I then went up to counter to ask a 4th time and the guy that i asked looked it up printed the order out and i WAITED ANOTHER TEN MINUTES . Its all about the good an bad people that work there . I also told my freind to watch it if she was involved with his order . She did same . He didnt tip and he had to bring his hot grinder back , it was inedible mess , she held it until he paid . . When he opened it up he was so mad because he was hungry and did not believe me . He thought i was imagining it if you see a little girl involved with straight long hair usually having a prob with someone . Dont bother . Also some crazy girl in front making grinders is so ridiculously nessy and sloppy , she reaches for the lettuce and my grinder was in her armpit . Mayo mistakenly put on it then oregano then they just hide it with more lettuce unless you call them on it and they pretend to care .... When i go out for food its either my way or the high way , unfortunately ill find a place maybe a little further away , but ill enjoy my damn food read more

Staff was really nice, food was not. I ordered a Kahuna cheesesteak. Quality of steak is worse than subway and there's so much bread. I tasted more bread than sandwich ingredients. I asked for the bread to be toasted, it wasn't. Friend got a Italian combo grinder, I had a bite and it reminded me of school lunch meat, wet, very processed and kind of slimy. And all the meat tasted the same. Weird, right? At $35 for 2 large sized grinders I expected way more. Don't think I'll be returning here. read more

First time trying Jersey Mike's and expected it to be much better than Subways but id rather much prefer Subways at this point. Not sure if it was only their hot subs that were terrible. Ordered the Big Kahuna on a wrap and the wrap was so tiny and small for $8.25. I personally don't think it was worth that much and there was nothing special with the philly cheese steak. read more

Food is always good. But pay attention to whoever puts the toppings on your sandwich, some of them are new and are too slow or they are moving so fast they forget what you actually want on your sandwich. read more

I ordered a #17 for pickup on my lunch break. Just steak, cheese, peppers, and onions like it say . Well I bring it back to work and it has lettuce, tomatoe, pickles and mayo added to it. SERIOUSLY? Its disgusting and I cant even bring it back since I'm at work. This place can't even get their best selling grinder correct. What a joke. . read more

Had alot of philly cheesesteak subs, and this was not one of the better ones. The amount of meat was inadequate. D'angelos has a $9.99 number 9 steak sandwich that is full of meat, cheese, onions, mushrooms, and peppers; it puts this cheesesteak to bed. Point is, I didn't feel like I got my money's worth, and I wouldn't recommend this place. $10.00 for a regular, not worth it. Wish I had a photo to share. I literally had to stretch the meat out so I wasn't just eating plain bread. Definitely had much better, and received more for the same price. I was disappointed. read more

Good sub. Bad service. Unfriendly staff. Didnt get one smile or hello or thank you. They all seemed irritated to have customers. Long wait. Given the wrong sub after the long wait. Totally chaotic but not a busy time of day. lots of people working but no one knew what was going on. It was obvious management was not on site at the time. Staff and food wasn't that good. Not trying to put too much shade on them, it's just they lack work ethic when it comes to enjoying the process of making good food. They focus more on putting on a smile for greeting purposes and that gets old quick. The sandwiches were greasy and sloppy all three times I ate there. Other locations have hard working people and some great food that's hard to replace or make yourself. PLEASE do better, Manchester is a great town. Our first time to Jersey Mike's. I was expecting better. Yes, it is better than Subway, but the local grinder shops are better. I had the Italian (#17) and it was OK. It tasted OK. I also had the Philly Cheese steak. It wasn't bad, but I have had better. I will say the content of grinder was more than adequate. Check your order before you leave the store. I ordered online. They did mess up my order and I didn't realize it until I got home, I called them back and they are going to give me a free one on my next visit. So if that holds true then I would say they give good customer service. Time will tell. Would I go back, yes probably, they are closer than most of the mom and pop grinder shops. Out of all of the fast sandwich shops, this one is my favorite. I had tried Jersey Mikes for the first time at their New London location and was pleased to find out that one was opening in Manchester. I work right up the road and attend the gym next door so this location is super convenient for me. They are always super busy but the line moves fast. I love their freshly cut meat and simple sandwich toppings. I normally get the roast beef turkey club, it's so good! I was a bit disappointed with the tuna, but that's okay because I like the other things I have tried. I would recommend posting more information about the bowl option on your menu. What is it? When I asked what it was the employees didn't really know what to say, and the menu just states to ask about the bowls, but does not show any choices or descriptions. I'm trying to decrease my carb intake and that may be a great option for me! read more

The interior is clean and well-lit. Appropriate actions were being taken in regards to Covid-19. However, the food was somewhat bland and the staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other than tending to the few customers inside. I only tried Jersey Mike's because the Subway nearby was closed. It is a shame such mundane food costs substantially more than their competitors. I called Jersey Mike's and was told I had to order online. I ordered two subs and with tax and tip my order was $46. When I got home there was no way to distinguish the subs from each other. One was supposed to be made on Rosemary Parm bread. It wasn't. They were both supposed to have extra meat. They didn't. One should have included prosciutto, it didn't. I called to complain because I don't eat white bread. I was told that they ran out of Rosemary bread. I said I should have been given a choice to cancel or have wheat bread. They said that white bread was all they had left. At no time did they offer to credit my money or offer me another sub. I will never order from this place again. read more

Ideally would give this place 3.5. The 4 is for the quality of the food , it is pretty good. The pricing is slightly on the higher end maybe a 15% premium to subway but the quality of the food is noticeably better than the yoga mat food at subway. Now, the biggest problem with this place is that it is so busy usually that it takes 20 minutes to get In and out, hence the 3. They really should hire more people that are actual makers of the food, could use an extra one or 2. It's like a factory so maybe you need some more for better throughout. Was there today and probably 5 or so people working and still didn't go fast. Took 20 minutes. They need to take a lesson from chipotle and see how fast things move there. All said , if I want a good grinder I'll pick this place over subway , but you might find some smaller mom and pop shops at the same price point or slightly lower with a maybe 25% better price point or more , especially on the large size grinders. read more
