Terrible customer service. Last time i visited this location, I decided to eat there'd and the staff kept going into one restroom and look in the door and leave. At least four employees did this while making comments. The bathroom is close to the eating area and I do not need to keep seeing this while I'm trying to enjoy my meal. I have been going to Jersey Mike's in Park Ridge for years, On Sunday afternoon 12/12/22, Like I have done on other occasions I wanted to order 25 subs for my employees to be picked up on Wednesday 12/15/22. We use to love going to JM in this location. However, my Husband and I went out for lunch a few weeks back and we were standing in line watching the cashier guy take peoples money then roll and rap the sandwiches without changing his gloves..ever..customer after customer! So, my husband mentioned it to the cashier guy and the guy took my husband's change and threw it on the counter at him and yelled he just changed his gloves. This place is right by my house but it's hidden so sometimes I forget it's there! Recently came in for lunch. Love how fresh everything they have is! The place is also really clean and organized and majority of the employees actually look like they like their job, which always make the experience better! I've actually never been to a Jersey Mikes's that has bad service, so it's nice to know there's a place with consistency in this world on unreliability. My daughter doesn't eat mayo and her sandwich had mayo, my son doesn't eat pickles and his sandwich had pickles I said no lettuce and onion and my sandwich had both we asked for vinegar on the side and when we got home it was spilled all over everything because it wasn't sealed correctly. Good sub but one of the line workers was so rude to me just now. He put the wrong type of mustard on my sandwich because he misheard me. When I asked him if he could redo it he rolled his eyes. For a chain sandwich joint - this place is really really good. Pros: The roast beef is quality. They also cook up REAL BACON. Funny I mention those two things when my favorite sandwich is the turkey and provolone mikes way plus pickles. Service is great there. Unlike the one that closed in Niles. I came in last night to order a sandwich, and I am no stranger to Jersey Mikes, but last night I was so uncomfortable and I wanted to just leave but I felt bad, because I already ordered my food. Their were 3 people working, a young male, and 2 older ones. The younger one was very respectful, the other two not so much. Their was one male who had pinkish hair, he wasn't rude, he was slurring his words, sweating profusely, and just seemed so out of it. Allow me to correct the mistaken and slightly abrasive cashier working at 12:30 on 1/31/20. He asked what I ordered. I clearly said 17 - that's "seventeen." I walked away looking at my receipt that said 7, which was actually 15 cents cheaper than the sandwich I ordered and had clearly stated. They then asked me what I wanted on my turkey sandwich, including the woman who took my order originally. I said I didn't order turkey but the Philly cheesesteak. Two seconds later, a guy handed me my Philly cheesesteak, the correct sandwich. I said "Thanks. That's the one I ordered." Then with another customer in front of him paying, the cashier felt inspired to respond, saying "Then you shouldn't have said turkey." This place has the best sandwiches and subs I have ever had in this whole area of Park Ridge. They have so huge menu, their selection is great, and you can really find so many worth to buy food here. This Jersey's Mike is exceptional! They have amazing sandwiches and burgers. All of it are delicious, the meats they used is so tender and tasty, the veggies are so fresh, and the breads are so soft and always new. You will absolutely love every bite once you order and try their best seller burgers. The staff here is really nice, helpful, and accommodating. This is a great fun place to get subs. Get the giant sub with extra meat. It will put you back about 14 bucks but OMG it is awesome. I got the roast beef and I'll have to say I'm hooked. My mom got the pastrami sub and loved it. The roast beef was very flavorful. They slice it in front of you. Definitely outbeats subway's carbon copy slices of bland meat. The bread was very good. Hopefully not pumped with chemicals like Subway's. They have this diced pepper spread for the subs which is sweet with a little kick that goes real nice on the sub. I loveeeee this place! The hot sub guy has my order memorized and I have been there 4 times... Max! The staff is very friendly, they were singing and joking around with all customers. They made my day the last time I was in. But honestly when I was in two days ago there was a new girl.... The workers are extremely friendly and they provide excellent customer service. The place itself is very clean and there was barely a wait on my sandwich. Furthermore, when I sank my teeth into that hot, juicy, savory Big Kahuna Cherse Steak sandwich, I felt like part of me died on the inside and went to heaven. This is the second day in a row we've ordered from here at our office. I ordered the exact same thing both days and they managed to make it incorrectly both times. I asked for a #8 wrap with no lettuce, tomatoes or onions. Yesterday it was loaded with lettuce (shredded lettuce, so it wasn't something I could easily pick off). Today it came with tomatoes and onions. I also asked for extra meat today (and paid $2.25 extra) and it did not come with extra meat. My coworker ordered her sandwich on white bread and it came on wheat bread. We also ordered a bag of chips which we paid for but they didn't come in the bag. The food is good so I'll eat here again but clearly ordering ahead is not an option since I'll have to go in and physically watch them make my sandwich. read more

After a grueling bike ride at 5:30 am on Saturday and then helping my husband with some extensive yard work that took about 2-1/2 hours, we worked up a massive appetite. We decided to drive over to Jersey Mike's (even though it is not super close to where we live -- but it is the nearest location to us). I ordered their "famous" Philly Steak cheese sandwich loaded with green and red peppers, ooey-gooey melted cheese and caramelized onions on wheat bread. The sweet peppers and onions gave it a boost in the flavor category making for the perfect amalgamation. It was very flavorful and tender. It was pretty close to being "Woooohhhhooooo" this is as good as it gets, but it fell short. Why? Because I compared it to an authentic Philadelphia steak cheese sandwich from Philadelphia -- not even close -- so for this reason I rated my sandwich with 4-stars. They use Angus beef, so the quality alone is worthy of five stars. My husband went with the cold roast beef and provolone sandwich. He said it was a very, very "good" sandwich. I asked him to give it a rating from 1 to 5. He went with a 5 for his sandwich, because he said it was excellent roast beef. We were going to eat there, but it was incredibly hot and stuffy inside the restaurant. It is humid and funky outside today. It feels like a swamp in Chicago. The line was very long when we arrived. It took about 10-minutes to get our food. We took it "to go" since it was unbearably hot inside the restaurant. Jersey Mike's parking lot has limited parking for less than six cars. It is also a pain in the ass to get out of this postage-stamp size parking lot. This is why we parked in the larger parking lot which can be entered on Washington Street and/or off of Northwest Highway (by the Panera Bread and/or Chipotle's). Basically, if you are on Northwest Highway, the entrance to the parking lot is across the street from Starbuck's. Once you enter the large parking lot by-pass the metered section and by-pass the "permit" parking only. You will see that there is ample parking for up to three-hours and, best of all, it is FREE! Yeah, you have to walk a little bit to get to Jersey Mike's. read more
