While the sandwiches may be good, their online ordering is not. We thought we would save time by ordering online. Our order was for only 2 cheesesteaks, the system said our order would be done by 6:37. When we arrived to pickup, we were told it would actually be another 20 to 60 minutes . There were only 3 teens behind the counter doing the best they could but were overwhelmed . We couldn't cancel our order online and couldn't get a minute of a clerks time to cancel it either so had to wait 45 minutes later for our food. While waiting we saw many people come in, wait in line, pay and leave with their food. So technically we paid first and were served last. Not until my husband made them aware they we're doing this, did they finally make our food . VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS SERVICE. Will not return!!!!!! Employees do not wear name tags for one so I am unsure who exactly they were working that day... but the guy that was slicing meat/cheese was rude and uninterested in making his customers feel welcome.. we ordered 2 sandwiches and sadly.... yet AGAIN 1 was made incorrectly... I really don't understand how difficult it is to leave off the cheese..... and also Both employees rolled their eyes standing at the register when I provided them with a "code" and also showing them the email that had the code/email I received from the last experience I had. I've been to Jersey Mike's several times over the years, mostly in California, and it has always been one of my favorite sub shops. Unfortunately, I haven't had the same luck with Arizona locations. Jersey Mike's normally stacks their subs with tons of meat and fresh veggies. That wasn't the case at this location. I ordered a turkey sub "Mike's Way". First of all, "Mike's Way" is supposed to be what sets them apart from the rest. This sandwich was definitely not above the rest..it really wasn't much better than a Subway sandwich. There was not much meat and way too much lettuce. In addition, the dressing they used seemed to be only on one side of the sandwich, which had way too much, and the other side had very little, if any. I know they opened relatively recently so I'm hoping they will get it together and become like the other Jersey Mike's locations that I know and love. read more

Terrible terrible terrible. The customer service is so awful at this jersey mikes. Never have I ever experienced this type of treatment. They wouldn't take my money and then the snotty attitude of the so called manager, I don't recall his name, but he has a nasty man bun and rude attitude. The cashier lady wasn't helpful and they treated everyone else politely. Although the food is decent, it's over priced and the customer service is awful. Go to Jimmy Johns or another sandwich place that treats you with respect and takes your money. There was never an apology or an explanation just that they refused to help. Came in to order a sandwich for lunch. As I was walking in, a lady that had already received her food walked up to the counter to request they remake her sandwich due to it being made incorrectly. Apparently, I ordered the same sandwich, and the manager attempted to convince me to take the sandwich the lady had returned! I have no clue how long the lady had the sandwich, but her, another employee and this manager were digging in it to investigate what was wrong. How did these people pass the test for food handlers cards . Jersey Mikes Subs sooner than later you will have a lawsuit to deal with if you don't make drastic changes in your team . I had made a online pick up order at future time . The time was set for 9:30 when I was done with work . I was out an hour early so I headed over to jersey mikes to have them make the sub . The sub was bagged and made already set on the counter ! So the sub would have sat there an hour with salami , oils and mayonnaise to breed bacteria. I took the sub saying she had made it just prior to me entering the door . Got home and the whole sub was soggy and inedible . This will make someone sick . But what manager seriously thinks they can leave food with meat and mayo and oil for over an hour and not have a soggy bun ???? The answer is that they just don't care ! I've only been to this location once and I'll definitely be back. I came in on my lunch break the other day, since I work so close. They made my sandwich super fast and it was great! After the cashier rung me up and I paid, he told me he forgot to give me the "neighborhood discount" since I work in the same center. I stopped in here because it was their giving back day and appreciate their charity. Thought I could grab a quick half sub and go, as I was under a time crunch. I got there at 10:20. The workers were totally overwhelmed. The woman taking orders and cutting meats was hustling and trying to get orders out; however, the kid putting the subs together was beyond slow. One sub, one piece of tomato, etc. one speed and it was extra slow. Should have 2 people putting subs together. Just seemed so disorganized. Took over 30 minutes. I've been getting a mini sandwich at this location almost weekly. Unfortunately today they didn't live up to their otherwise excellent reputation. I ordered a mini sandwich and when the young lady started slicing up the meat I pointed out the bread was cut far smaller than a typical mini. She essentially blew me off. She was also quite rude to the gentleman in line behind me when he pointed out she omitted one of the meats on his sandwich. It was very busy in the store but I don't believe this is the type of customer service the franchise owner expects from his / her staff. The other staff members were very friendly and respectful. PS. Usually Jersey Mike's is one of my favorite sandwich stops. Today was, by far, the worst experience. First I get a kids meal and the girl charges me twice for 1 kids meal. I point out the mistake and she tells me I'm wrong. I then have to go to a more helpful clerk to point out the obvious 4.95 charge twice. The other clerk corrected my total..Thank you. While the first girl must have been irritated by her mistake. I didn't watch her make my sandwich. I get home 10 minutes later to find my tuna sandwich SWIMMING IN OIL AND VINEGAR (2 paper towels to soak up liquid). The bread has become a spongy goop and is NOT EDIBLE. WOW! They have just opened. For a Friday at dinner time and a line out the door, they did a good job. Worked efficient. And while there was a mix up in the order of hot subs made, the manager recognized this, she jumped on the line to catch up and organize, and the special request on my sub was met. I usually get the #13 every time I have ordered a sandwich it has tasted delicious. My husbands order is usually a little more difficult and every time I order his it is correct. Which has been such a nice change from getting a sandwich from subway or firehouse and we do not like jimmy johns. Jersey mikes is our preferred sandwich shop so it's nice that they take the time to make it right. It seems the kinks are starting to get worked out with staff per what I have read in previous reviews. I have not encountered any issues the several times I have been in the store. I was really impressed the moment I entered in. Once I walked in I was warmly greeted by the register, I think she ended up saying her name was Emma. She treated me professionally and with respect which is something that you don't see often in food places. I wasn't too sure what I wanted to get today so I asked another employee, I believe her name was Saila or Shaila or something similar to that, what I should get. She gave me great recommendations and the sub I had today was very excellent. The entire time she treated me with respect. I was most impressed with how all the employees kept their cool under the pressure of a large line. The em helped remind me why I would rather go here than to subway. We have used this location since it's opening. It used to be great. Lately it is the worse Jersey Mikes. We will go with the last few visits. #1 is that they cannot get enough bread in. It's frustrating to stand in line, after driving from San Tan Valley, and find out they do not have white bread. Today I called ahead to make sure they had it and was told "we are making it now, it will be ready in 45 minutes". When I got there they definitely had white bread, but was telling customers they only had white, no Rosemary, wheat, etc. 'I gave the girl slicing meat my order, she then took the group of 10 behind me theirs, and also the couple next nine line their. Not sure of the reason here because the sandwich preparer couldn't keep up . Then I watched the girl slicing the meat for the 2 cold cuts I ordered. She missed a meat on one and I brought it to her attention She argued with me that she didn't and I told her I wanted her to check it. When it was checked sure enough one of the meats were missed. She just sad 'oh" and added the meat. No I'm sorry or nothing. Move up to the kid preparing, and that is all it looks like they have working is kids. I told him I wanted mine Mikes Way, extra Mayo and extra onion. He put the Mayo on and onion on and started to wrap I had to say "whoa, where's the Other "mikes Way" ingredients? The second sub I said only Mayo, onion, and red peppers. I had to stop him from putting lettuce and tomatoe on it. Come on guys. What is wrong with the help you have working there? The Jersey Mike's store # 9032 located at Rittenhouse and Ellsworth in Queen Creek, Az, is deplorable. This is the only location I have ever had the displeasure of ordering from that routinely gets the order wrong. In all the times I have ordered from this store I have had to call up and get my orders refunded more times than not because they screw it up more than they get it right. This is a privately owned franchise too, which tells me the owner is just as terrible at running his establishment as the people he employs to run it. I will never, ever....let me re-emphasize...EVER...order food from this shithole of a restaurant again. I recommend everyone do yourself a favor and do not ever order from this location. In fact, if Jersey Mike's corporates doesn't do something about it, I recommend avoiding all Jersey Mike's locations. I love the sandwiches here, but the employees definitely need to upgrade their customer service skills. I worked customer service many times so I know how hard it can be. Because of that, I'm always very kind to people in retail and food service jobs. But yet I still get a snotty ass attitude when I come here. The music is always playing so loud that it's hard. I went there today and was very pleased to be helped promptly and she took the time to explain to me how the ordering process worked. Well I've tried Jersey Mikes tonight I ordered 3 subs one Philly, club,and Italian.The toppings were all good but the lack of meat for a $14 sub is a little disappointing. The bread was ok nothing great but they ran out of white bread the $8 sub at JJ is so much a better value and just as fresh. The employees were quick and courteous so all good there.The store was clean and in order so really boils down to price /value so I can't see going back $42 for 2 1/2 subs no drinks or chips. read more
