I had heard about Jersey Mike but I had never seen one. It was my first time there and I got a sub sandwich that was fantastic. The meat is cut and then put on a sandwich roll and then all the fixings you want is added on. The place is clean the service is good and the servers are nice. I would recommend this place to my friends to try it. read more

I've tried and tried to be patient hoping it was just growing pains from being a new location. Unfortunately, every time I come here they are out of something. Tonight it was white bread. The staple of the entire business is the bread to make the sandwich on and they ran out! No apologies. Just asked me blankly if wheat was okay......Like I had another choice after paying for a web order. No offer for a courtesy bag of chips or a drink. Had to pay for the drink I ordered in store. At this point I'm clearly being forced to order my subs from the big game killer Jimmy John's. My daughter and I went to get aa sandwich on Saturday night and to our surprise the employee was cleaning the back of the grill. The grill was pulled out from the wall and the whole restaurant smelled like cleaning solution. The girl cLeaning said, you are going to have to waii until I finish cleaning. There were other people who came in behind us and she finally opened thee stockroom door and yelled to another worker to come out and help. You could order cold sandwiches, but you would have to wait for hot until she finished cleaning. It's Saturday my question is why on earth are you doing this type of cleaning that clearly affects customer service and not do this type of deep cleaning at closing. We were there at about 7 PM. Mine and my daughters sandwiches when we got home had hardly any meat mostly lettuce and no mayo. I have eaten at a great deal of Jersey Mikes and never got a sandwich this bad. read more

I know it's had a rough start, but hey all restaurants have some bumps when they open. And honestly, for a group of kids working with no manager over 25 supervising, they did a great job. I saw one person have an order error, but the manager was quick to make it right and even gave him a free sub voucher for next time. That was smart! My typical #7 (turkey and provolone) was perfectly made to order, exactly how I wanted it. My husband had a buffalo chicken wrap. It looked ok, but the kid on the grill did seem to be learning how to cook. It took a few more minutes than normal. No big deal! I'm not sure what all the 1 star reviews are about. I love this place! I have never had a problem with service being slow except on opening day, it was crazy in there. All of the employees have a big smile and greet me and my friends promptly and with a big smile. The sandwiches are so fresh and delicious, I love that they slice the meats and cheeses in front of you, not like subway where everything is prepackaged and frozen, I should know, I worked for subway. The sandwiches might be a little bit pricey but I think it's worth it for the fresh quality and great service. The owner reached out and asked me to give them another shot. He told me to speak to his GM (with a code) and he'd take care of me. I reached out as instructed and received even worse reception and no replacement. Instead, I was met by an immature "GM" determined to troll. I've since reached out to corporate on their FB as well as their website. The owner had the audacity to ask me to return once more, as if I'd go through all of that mess again. Others have reached out as well, but due to recent surgery, I've not felt like talking with them. I gave them another chance and I was treated like a vagrant; why on earth would I try again? I'll gladly visit other valley locations when I'm near, but I'll never step back into this one and everyone I know is saying the same. I love the taste of the subs! But today I went in....only one person working I was patient and felt bad for the person working....but I watched her use the same gloves without ever taking them off....handling raw meat, cash, swiping her card through the register, on her cellphone. I just wanted to update my review in 2018. After posting my review I was contacted by someone from the company and offered a coupon for a free sandwich but I didn't use it, was just fed up. HOWEVER, I have stopped by recently.... and I don't know whether this location is under new management or what, but the service here has improved immensely. First time going to Jersey Mike's and most likely our last. We weren't even sure they were open since their neon "open" sign was off and it being a Sunday, but they were open. 7 employees behind the counter(2 of which were chewing gum) and 8 dirty tables. They weren't busy at all so it's not like they didn't have time to clean, sweep or fix the ice machine! None of the employees wanted to be there and it was obvious when one asked what we wanted and then clearly lost interest and we had to repeat our order SEVERAL times before he wrote it down and then it was wrong anyway. Don't know what was happening in the kitchen, but it sounded like they were having a great time when they were all back there and no one up front. As far as the sandwiches......if I wanted a lettuce sandwich, I would have ordered a lettuce sandwich! No flavor at all. Very little meat and paper thin cheese. The bread was tough and my husbands "HOT" sandwich was soggy. Too expensive for what you get. We will stick with other sandwich shops. read more

Best subs in the valley! I drive from East Mesa to queen creek just for these subs. I love to use their app and cut to the front of the line when my order is ready. Always good, never have had my order wrong. Cheaper then subway and tens times better. 100%!!! read more

First time eating here and it was chaotic. I went around 1 p.m. and there were about 13 people in front of me. 3 people were working, which, because it is small would be fine. It was pretty slow and when I got to the cashier my sandwiches for mixed up with the last in front of me sandwiches. Then they forgot 4 out of 6 of my sandwiches, just didn't do them. So I wait. It seemed completely unorganized like there was no system in place. And even after the wait my sandwich was wrong even though I literally wrote everything down. Today was my first time at this location and I was impressed. I was reading the reviews and I don't believe they are true. This team was moving, the speed of service was great and the customer service was a 100%. When I walked in I was a little hesitant to get in line because they were busy and I had a big order but my family and I love the food and at this point was craving it. The lady at the slicer was fast and efficient where I was a little scared to watch and the ladies topping my sandwiches made me feel welcomed and last the men making my hot subs got them to me right as I was paying so no WAITING for me. Save your money, I know this place is new but I should have guessed it would be bad when the guy behind me was back because they screwed up his order and while standing there waiting to be served I noticed that all the cheese and meats were all the same prepacked shape and size, there were a number of people behind the counter and while they were trying to work they had very little room. I love Jersey Mikes. I have never had a bad experience in one until today. I came in from a long drive back from California. I was happy to see only two people were in front of me. Little did I know, I would be waiting in there for 20mins. They were just finishing the first man's sandwiches. The man in front of me, order three tunas. Three!! Doesn't seem hard right? There were two younger kids working today. The guy helped me and sliced my meat. Then handed it off to the girl who was already making the mans sandwiches. The girl was moving as slow as molasses. The guy went to the register.....Don't get me wrong they were very nice but but why am I waiting for the girl to make my sandwich when the guy was perfectly capable of making my sandwich? I waited there for about 15 mins!!! It took them less than three mins to make mine! I'm sorry but that's not good customer service. Either of them apologized to me for the wait. I worked in the food business. Customer service is everything!!! Whoever the owner of this establishment needs to train their employees better. I'm done coming here. Sorry you lost my business. I don't visit Jersey Mike's very often, but in the past I've never had anything to complain about. Usually quick service, friendly employees, and correct orders. But today for lunch I stopped by, and my complaints didn't start until I put my order in. None of the employees had name tags, so I can't pinpoint individuals, but the girl who was putting together the sandwiches greeted us and was probably the friendliest employee there. The only guy there that was slicing meat, however, was extremely rude. He practically shouted at me to see what I'd like to order, and I responded with my order, followed by, "no onions". I felt a little rushed, but that was our interaction. While I was waiting on my order to be made and for the people in front of me to pay for theirs, I saw on the grill that the man was grilling onions with the rest of the veggies, so I asked the girl putting together sandwiches if she could please make sure that my wrap didn't have onions. She promptly told the man that my wrap doesn't have onions, and he instantly replies, "she didn't say that, but okay." Nevermind the fact that I am within earshot and I DID ask for no onions. When he saw that I had heard him, he continued to remove the onions. This interaction was extremely unprofessional and rude. Even the cashier that was taking my payment was extremely pushy in telling me that I should think about joining their program next time I come in, and that I won't regret it if I actually sign up. Based off of the lack of customer service and training at the Queen Creek location, I will not be returning. While the food is good, it seems to me that the staff should be reevaluated at this location. read more

This place has gone through many employees and the service used to kinda suck when they first opened, but it has improved greatly the past few visits. I am really disappointed in this location. I had wrote a great review prior to this one because sandwiches were representative of Jersey Mikes Subs . Unfortunately not sure what happened to the quality, service, or cleanliness. The past 2 times we ordered online and have been shorted each time. This last time, we ordered 3 sandwiches. They tried to pass off only 2 sandwiches on me. Even gave me a copy of the receipt with an attitude. Another guy comes out and says oh you have another one coming they forgot. Started making it and was done in like 30 seconds. I looked at the sandwich, had no mayo, 1 piece of turkey, and a thin slice of cheese. Was bone dry and not anything like the order. I checked the sandwiches before I left then told them about it and was told since I touched the sandwiches he would give me a packet of mayo. Are you kidding. At this point it wasn't worth my time. I had my baby with me and no time to deal with this ineptness. DONT ORDER ONLINE they can't be trusted. So unfortunate they are representing Jersey Mikes. Will not recommend. i have never been here before and i was ordering for my bf so i wasn't sure what i was getting. i took my order with the slicer on shift, i dont remember his name but he was nice and let me know to make sure i tell the sandwich maker to remind them what i wanted while they made it. i saw her making a sandwich and i asked if it was my sandwich she was making, she said yes and i told her no tomatoes, she looked up at me and told me "it's not yours" in a really rude and short tone. i saw her make another sandwich and i had to call her 3 times to get her attention because she was talking to her coworkers. i finally got her attention and made sure it was my sandwich, she went ahead and put tomatoes and i kindly told her i asked for no tomatoes. she didn't say anything and took the tomatoes off, like i bothered her? she made me feel stupid and that i was a bother to her, i had a horrible day and ended up crying on my way out because of the way she made me feel. im never coming back. read more

I never write reviews but I felt like I needed to not only for the people going to this place but for the staff. Right when we got there we were up next in line, there were about 7 people working and only about 1 person doing anything. The two people in charge of the bread (why they need two people for the bread is another question) they were both talking for awhile and didn't even notice we were standing there, no greeting, nothing. Then when I ordered my sandwich the guy tells me they are out of white bread. Okay.. Jersey Mikes has two types of bread, not like subway with about 6 different types, two types. How do you run out of one of the breads, especially with how many workers there were. Okay anyways I told him what I wanted and said no mayo when my sandwich was finally ready for the veggies the guy was cleaning up with a really wet dirty rag and had gloves on, when he finished cleaning he grabbed my bread and used his dirty gloves to pick up my veggies. His gloves were soaking from the rag it was disgusting. The guy was clueless to what I was saying, he could of been new or something but just was clueless. (He also almost put mayo on my sandwich until I kinda yelled no mayo please!!) Anyways there was a little ray of sunshine finally at the end at the cashier who seemed to know what he was doing. We looked for a seat but literally EVERY booth was dirty literally every single one. I worked in fast food and I know you definitely need to clean up the lobby at least every 15/20 minutes especially during a rush. These employees probably hadn't cleaned it in like 5 hours. When we sat down I took a bite of my wheat bread and it was stale, really? Really? Your service sucked but your food has to suck too? by this time my family was so annoyed and it was my idea to come here so pretty embarrassing on my part. The staff needs some serious training to be able to do this easy skilled job.
