Not sure if someone just forgot to turn them back on but the open sign and all outside lights were turned off. We walked in and not one person greeted us. The man at the register looked up at us and then turned to the person that was going to pay. The time was 6pm on a Friday night. I would like to say I'm giving them 2 stars because the guy that did the meat was very friendly and seemed to be running the show and he shouldn't go in the review. Our sandwiches were missing the bacon. We ordered the number 8. They didn't ask us if we wanted anything else. He rushed. I would also like to stay it's very gross he touches cash then just puts gloves on and finishes the sandwiches. Yuck. Gloves don't count for hand washing . Also I personally feel like 2 people working a dinner rush is not a great idea. They were backed up and maybe proper hygiene would have been used if there was more workers. read more

First off I have to say, there is a Jersey Mikes closer to my job. But, I travel an extra 3-4 miles to this location. I assume she is the Manager, but Hannah is always there to greet you and go above and beyond to make sure this location runs so well. Her and her staff are great, and they work so well together. I have never had a negative experience at this location. Others did not fare so well. Like I said, there is a Jersey Mikes closer to my job. Thanks Hannah (with an h). All the ladies behind the register were very kind, great customer service and best of all SMILES everywhere this means they are Happy to work here. In our home town Riverside by the Plaza we order the following: I always get the mini original Italian is good enough for me. My husband and brother in law got Regular size The Original. Got takeout here to try it out. This is the third location we have tried. One was superior, one not good and sad to say this one disappointed us too. The bread was dry, crusty, and seemed stale. There was more lettuce in it than meat and the paper thin slice of cheese you couldn't even see or taste. I had to really look for it. I've been to this location twice and each time a male employee with dark hair helped us. Well "help" may be the wrong terminology. He was rude both times, can't get much out of him and was getting frustrated he couldn't hear me when I ordered. Welcome to the wonderful world of plexiglass and masks. Get used to it buddy. My husband ordered a gluten free sandwich and told him it was an allergy. He proceeded to set the bread on the counter without it being wiped down and there were bread crumbs everywhere. When we asked him to replace the bread, wipe the station down and changed his gloves he looked at us like we were the devil. When he went to put mayo on the sandwich we reminded him again it was a gluten free because of an allergy. He changed the knife that was already in the mayo with a clean one, which beats the purpose of your using the same knife. For those who have celiac disease you'll understand why this is such a big deal. Don't offer gluten friendly options if your not going to try you best to make it a gluten free environment. No other Jersey Mike's had had this issue, and we get sandwiches for the entire family weekly if not more. We needed up paying for the sandwiches and leaving. My husband threw his away, he didn't even want to bother with the employee any longer and just wanted to get out of there. And those who have eaten there, the sandwiches aren't cheap. You get what you pay for, we just wish this location had the same care and attentiveness the other locations have. I ended up emailing the company and leaving a comment on the mobile app asking someone to contact me. Never a response from either. We will continue to get sandwiches and Jerseys, but will never visit this location again. Oh and a note to the gentleman l, if you can call him that. Loosen up a little and try to smile and enjoy the company of the customers. It may make your day a little more pleasurable. And when a customer is telling you they have an allergy, don't act like they are bothering you with such a horrendous request. It's cheese whiz or provolone. Might want to take a trip to a sub shop in South Philadelphia or the White House in Atlantic City to research what goes on an Italian sub and how to make a decent cheesesteak. FYI... Today at this location were two interchangeable sandwich maker/cashiers that switched back and forth from making sandwiches and over to cash register to handle the sale. Today was my first experience at Jersey Mike's Subs and I am impressed! The staff was fantastic! Everyone was very friendly and easy to talk to, they all had smiles on their faces and I felt very welcome inside the establishment. My entire family was happy with our orders which were as follows: 1. Chicken Parm (Reg.) - My son said it was the best sandwich he had ever had, he wished he'd ordered a giant so he could have had leftovers for dinner haha. 2. Club Sub (Giant) - My husband said it was good, it was huge! He had some for lunch and dinner and we still have leftovers. 3. Buffalo Chicken Wrap - My husband said this was mediocre; it wasn't bad but also wasn't very impressive. He preferred the sub. 4. Turkey Wrap - YUM! I loved it! It was huge, I had half for lunch, was planning on finishing it for dinner but I couldn't. I'm still full 7.5 hours later. Very generous amount of turkey meat and it tasted nice and fresh! 5. Kids Turkey (plain) - My girls gobbled it up! Overall I was happy with the food, everything tasted much more fresh than other sandwich establishments. I've heard about how great Jersey Mike's is for some time. So, I decided to stop by and see what the hype was about. I let them know right away that I was new. The guy behind the counter (Ben) immediately gave me a big warm Welcome! Ben then took his metal pointer and proceeded to give me the run down on all the goodness they offer right off their large menu. Based on my input, he suggested I try the Big Kahuna, hold the mushrooms and add chipotle mayo. OMG...It was soooo tasty! While I enjoyed my yummy samich, I have to say that my favorite part of the experience was the fun banter I exchanged with Ben and Danielle. Truly some of the funnest restaurant workers/human beings I've been silly with. If you didn't know any better, you'd think that Ben was the franchise owner. I went to Jersey Mike's last week for the first time. The staff was really friendly and put up well with my elderly father asking silly questions about subway. The sandwiches were ok. About the same quality as a subway but less choice of veggies and condiments. Over all nice ambiance in the restaurant and friendly staff made it a good experience. When we told them we were not, they seemed a little annoyed/confused about it. The girl that was finishing my sandwich... was interesting as well. I told her I didn't want onions or tomatoes but I wanted it mikes way. It was my mistake for not clarifying, I suppose. But when I said no lettuce or tomato she started wrapping my sandwich.
