I have heard plenty of good things about Detroit style pizza and wanted to give it an authentic try. I was terrified to make the jump when I found out that Little Caesar's deep dish is also considered Detroit style and is arguably the worst pizza one could buy. Let's just say that there are levels to true Detroit style and Little Caesar's is below whatever the bottom might be. Jet's on the other hand was amazing. My wife and I have had it twice this week just to see if the first excellent time was a fluke. Nope second time still perfect. Order the 8 corner for truly authentic Detroit style and whatever you do get to with the turbo crust. We will be back, just not twice in one week. read more

We're Back at it eating at local restaurants and supporting the community and small businesses. After reading the reviews and craving some pizza we decided to hit up Jet's pizza. Man was it the right choice. We Ordered the large Chicago style deep dish half All Meaty with mushrooms and half Hawaiian with extra cheese. We've read reviews about being a bit skimpy on the toppings, but let me tell you our experience was the exact opposite. Loaded with greasy meat and tons of cheese it weighed a good 3 pounds I'd say. But the toppings were just there to support the crust. That's the star of the show, now I know why they offer an 8 corner pizza because that's what I'd go for first. I got a coupon today in the mail for a free slice of Jet's Pizza, which just opened up across the street from my neighborhood. I had to try it and at the same time it's a snow day, roads are pretty bad, but it's just across the street. The pizza place is in the small shopping strip next to Hess. It's carryout and delivery type of pizza joint, very small. I presented my coupon and the staff are very very nice! They were very excited for me to try the pizza. I asked for ranch dressing as I like to eat my pizza with it, and they said that its 79 cents for all the sauces, she said that the Ranch was homemade there from scratch, so i really wanted to try it. I asked can I just try it, and instead they gave it to me for free!! Super nice staff! They said it's a pizza chain from Michigan, I looked it up and they have lots of locations there!! And only one in all of Virginia! Got my free slice and my first bite into it, was super delicious, the crust has just enough crunchiness that mixed with the tomato sauce and the mozzarella cheese and the pepperoni just well!! It's not oily, it has a nice smooth taste that melts in your mouth! Afterwards, I went home and I told my parents and influenced them to order a whole pizza. They enjoyed it as well. I actually now have a favorite pizza place, and prefer this pizza than Papa Johns, Pizza Hut, Domino's and Little Caesar's. read more

Jets pizza WOW. Nothing like any of the pizza I had around the area. Or ever in my life. Their crust, their dough, *drooling* it's delightfully crispy on outside and delicately fluffy on the inside. I tried out their a their Hawaiian deep dish pizza with their turbo crust (garlic, butter, and Romano). Hooked on the first bite. I will have to get this every time I come here. Cinnamon stix for $5 bucks you get 12 pieces. I could have eaten that whole thing, but I had to stop and save the rest later. Was in the area and this placed popped up first on my yelp. Never had Detroit pizza and the wife was all about it. I never pass up a pie when the wife gives the green light. This will be my go to place when in Va Beach area. The crust on the corner slices were crunchy and delicious. Like nothing I ever had. Friendly and helpful when we called and ordered. Told them our first time and they took the time to explain to us the crust toppings etc. When we picked up they offered plates and napkins. Which was nice because we were eating in our vehicle. Whomever owns and manages this place needs to give employees recognition. I want to say his name was Ryan on the phone. It made the experience that much better. read more

I try not to eat like a pig but while watching wrestling, traveling out of town and being inebriated are all excuses. So pizza it is. Meat lovers pizza... Thick slices, lot of meat, decent flavor. I would give this 4 stars. We did add chicken wings to our order and had the sweet red chili and mild flavors. Mild was pretty hot and I can handle hot flavors (January Yelp Elite event at Sidelines, anyone?). So that says something about their spicy levels. The sweet red chili had to grow on me a bit. By the second wing I was a fan. My only gripe is that the wings were pretty small. You can put the entire drumstick in your mouth. Overall, a decent binge meal while watching my wrasslin'. 3.5. The Pizza was pretty good. My one concern is that the toppings were very scarce! I counted about 10 pepperonis on a large deep dish, crazy since there are only 8 slices, same with mushrooms and onions. Easy to order, service was quick. It was fresh and hot. The wings are similar to what you would get at Pizza Hut, nothing to write home about. I will be giving it another shot however and try double toppings. read more

Jets pizza is amazing. Let me start by saying that. I get that every one wants a restaurant to be perfect but they are not. If you don't know what it's like to work with pizza ovens all day then let me help you... THEY CANT BREATHE. I don't mean this is the Karen way. I mean this literally. It's so hot in their non stop. And on top of the heat, they are working their tails off! If you want to be 1000% safe then make your own pizza. But I have no doubt in my mind the jets is doing their best to keep their customers safe. I eat jets often. I just moved to VA from LA and when I would visit I HAD to have jets pizza. I ordered a pepperoni pan pizza for my son with a chocolate chip cookie pie. I also ordered a grown-up chicken Parmesan sandwich. I was very happy about the Delivery time. The pizza was the bomb. The cookie was very satisfying. The chicken Parm sandwich was not anything to be proud of. It was chopped up chicken cubes, probably frozen, very soggy bread, not something I would ever order again. I've ordered from here a few times. Located on Princess Anne Road. Online ordering is a breeze. Sometimes I pick up my order at the store, other times I have it delivered. Last time was just as well. I ordered a large Hawaiian hand tossed pizza, buffalo chicken ranch pizza and honey bbq chicken wings. The order was placed a little after 7pm. I was amazed how fast delivery was, expected time was 45 minutes. It got delivered in a little over 25 minutes. Taken in account that the shop is a few miles away. Food was hot and delicious. We first tried Jet's years ago when visiting my Dad and Stepmom In Michigan. Lo and behold I see we have a Jet's right here in VB!!! We could not wait to order, we get Jet's every time we go to my Dad's and now we don't have to wait that long anymore. My gluten free pizza was just as good as I remember, my only wish is that it was bigger so I could have more haha! The 8-corner was awesome according to my daughter and husband. Our daughter tried the steak and cheese sub, she said it was delicious and can't wait to have another one when we order next! My husband tried the jalapeño and bacon Jet's bread, he loved how each piece had jalapeños and bacon! I ordered the GF cauliflower pizza to have another day and it was also delicious!
