When I first arrived they advised me that my SUV was old (1999 Tahoe) and they didnt keep the oil filter in stock. I could either wait while they get one delivered or I could run to NAPA autoparts a block down the road. I opted to get it myself and they advised me that once I return to just pull up in front and drive into the garage when I'm guided in. Keep in mind that this is a drive through shop and all I have to say is Wow. the service was quick, thorough and they constantly came to my window to update me while I sat in the vehicle. Glenn was amazing! He helped me when I came in suspecting that I had a oil leak. He said that the last place I went broke the seal and I will need a new pan on my next oil change. He was very informed on how to fix it and also was very efficient in his work. I came here to get my safety check and it was such an easy breezy experience. As soon as I drove in I was immediately greeted by Nina and Tiffany. This was my first time going in for a safety check and they were so nice and professional, normally I have a lot of anxiety going into any car place but they made me feel well taken care of. We went to do an oil change and safety inspection. While there, I figured why not get some other things done to the car to give it an engine and transmission flush. We also had some other things done like lenses cleaning and tire rotation just to give the car a "treat." They said it would be about 30mins to an hour for the services. WELL.... it took over 2 hours. Then to top it off, they stripped one of my lug nuts while removing one of my tires for rotation and they were going to charge me for it. The manager was great about customer service and then provided us with a discount after being there over 3 1/2 hours. WELLLL!!!! 2 days later, I notice leaking from under the car. Mind you, this car NEVER had ANY type of leak issues until NOW!!!! So now we're on to day 4, and I hear this "knocking" sound, as if you put a card on the bike tire and it makes that "tick tick tick" sound. So my husband goes under the hood and checks the oil. HUH! THERE IS NONE!!! He dipped the stick like 5 times, JUST TO BE SURE. YUP, NO OIL!!!!! WTH JIFFY LUBE PEARL KAI? I tried calling them but of course no answer!!! read more

When it comes to cars I really am the stereotypical woman who without assistance likely would die on the side of the road due to the fact that I don't know how to open my hood or change a tire. I feel even more ashamed of my inability to care for myself when I go to auto care places and pull in and find fully functioning females who can not only groom their eyebrows, but they can viola! open a hood and change oil all while looking pretty (I swear these mystical creatures exist at this Jiffy Lube location). I've come to this Jiffy Lube location four times now. Twice for an oil change, once to get my fluids topped off (for free like they promised) and once because like an idiot I over inflated the tires on my husband's car to 51 psi and couldn't figure out why the check tires light was still on....YEA it was because the tires were at 51 and I was pretty much bouncing down the road. So I'm sure you're wondering why is she giving Jiffy Lube five stars? Here's why. Each time I've gone in there I've done something to make myself look like a total idiot incapable of caring for myself in the real world. This most recent time I found out my new windshield wipers still had their protective cover on. Did anyone there make me feel like an idiot? No. They treated me just as nice as the other people in there who aren't idiots. And trust me, that goes a LONG way especially when the little voice inside my head was saying "d'oh! you did it again you iiiiidiot!" So five stars for customer service. They're very fast with getting you in and out, and they offer free top off for fluids between oil changes. Prices are a bit higher than some other locations, but you're also paying for convenience. If you're an incompetent female like me, this is also definitely the place to go since they'll treat you right. read more

I called around to two locations and they offered an hour and a half (with an appointment) for an oil change. I called Jiffy Lube and they said 15-20 minutes. Sold!! I can't imagine entertaining with my crazy two year old in a automotive shop for longer than that. I pulled my car up, told them what I wanted and bam. It's done and complete in 20 minutes! The employees were really nice and seemed knowledgeable too. Saturday morning at 9am, surprisingly, there's only a few cars here. We pulled up to one of the polite gentleman that helped us. Told that it would be about 20 min., we headed to the waiting room. Have been going to this jiffy lube for 3 years, for safety check and oil change. Just recently went in for a safety inspection. Noticed the workers laughing at my vehicle, making fun of it. because I had a accident 3 years ago. And my hood was slighty bent, and my headlight was not flushed to the bumper. I was denied, saying it's for appointments only, asked when the next available appointment will be, said not till next week! Very disappointed. What made it worst was that the lady said that my headlights were not a lined properly so I cannot pass inspection. It took me by suprise because I've passed the inspection since I've had that accident. And it was passed at that jiffy lube. Very sad. Tiffany and the crew were great. When I first turned into the bay, within a few seconds a crew member approached and said they would do their best to service car and meet needs. As I sat in my car and observed the environment, I notice they had males and females and different ethnicity too. While serving vehicles they would call out what was happening and status of service. I was impressed at the team work and happy that I had the choice of sitting in my car or in the reception area. Obviously, I sat in my car. I specifically went to Jiffy lube to check my tires since my car gave me a warning that the pressure was low. I also asked them to change my oil. I told them exactly what tire to look at. I thought there was a nail but couldn't see it. When I picked up my car they told me it just needed air. That night I had a flat tire because there was a nail! Same tire! I called a manager and she told me that the jacks are broken and they didn't lift my car to check the tires! I told her that if they told me that from the beginning I would have gone else where. I don't usually go to Jiffy Lube but I did come here for an oil change for another vehicle and man where they fast. I came in on a random Thursday morning and there was not cars in service and the guys waiting around the shop looked like they were waiting and wanted someone to come in. They immediately started to get to work and everything ended up to take only 20 minutes or so for just a standard/regular oil change along with filter. The staff and customer service is pretty good. The waiting area is not so bad as well. Their prices for oil changes and everything is also not too bad as well. This Jiffy Lube location is conveniently located in the Pearl Kai shopping center right next to the Vitamin Shoppe. Just in case you do not want to wait around the shop, you can always cruise around the Pearl Kai shopping area. They even have a nice 10 percent off deal via the Yelp app! read more

We usually go to other Jiffy Lubes and have had no problems. After our move, we started coming to this one. Huge difference! Not cheap and chaotic. Always trying to con you into more services that aren't really needed even after you say just the basic service. I was sucked into their little game on one...luckily they didn't have the part in stock since it was in actuality fine. Recent incident: they failed a safety check because he said the parking brake was broken and had to go to dealer to fix...seemed strange as we use it all the time with no problems. Turns out the parking brake WAS fine. Took it back and there was a 2 hour wait. They told us to come back the next day at 9:45a since the inspector starts at 10a...they started much earlier...we could have been there earlier but now it is again a 2hr wait. I know I was pushing it trying to get my safety check done today (12/31/2012), but I had to. I went to Jiffy Lube because last year I went to Flagship and they charged me an arm and a leg just for the Safety Check, and then told me one of my belts had to be changed and proceeded to charge me another $250. Flagship told me that they would not release my car unless I had the belt changed. Please note, I asked for the belt back. Showed it to my guy at LXS and he was like, "Uh. . . this belt is still good." I digress. Anyway, I left my car and got a call from them. The girl was so patient and calm. She told me I did not pass the inspection due to my tire pressure light. I explained to her the situation that Sears put me through. And you know what? She LISTENED to me first and then explained their policy and said, "As long as you can show me the tire pressure light can go off, you're good to go." I got back to Jiffy Lube. I met the woman who I spoke to on the phone: Hoku. She was so nice and kind. We walked over to my car, I explained to her the situation again. She explained that Jiffy Lube made a policy change this year in September. Turned the light off. Showed her. She was good. I was good. And I got my safety inspection done. Please note, the guy from Jiffy Lube noted that the last two days of every month they are always swamped due to safety checks. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Great. Hoku made the experience wonderful! I found out that she was the one who helped me at Flagship so she understood my pain when I said, "I refused to go back to Flagship." PRICE: If you want to pay a pretty price and get ripped off, GO TO FLAGSHIP. If you want a VERY reasonable price and people NOT forcing you to do things you do not need to do. . . Jiffy Lube is the place to go. OVERALL: Why the hell did I not go to Jiffy Lube last year, I have no clue, but Jiffy Lube 'Aiea is my new place to go!! read more

Went to Jiffy Lube for my Safety Check, They said would take about 2 hours because the Safety check man was out but lord and be old not even 30min later my car was finished. There fast and Cheap and the service men and women there are always so polite and will to help even when they are on break! Also did my Oil Change here a while back and they were able to finish in 15min which is why i came here for my safety check also. Would Highly recommend this place to people. read more

Would NOT use this place for safety checks the inspector is not there regularly. I had to make 4 trips there 2 because he wasn't there on that day and two others because they said he was and when I arrive he was on lunch. NEVER COME HERE FOR SAFETY CHECKS! Two reasons: #1. there is only one person doing safety checks and he only works Mon-Fri 7am-2pm. So its at no convenience to anyone who is unable to make appointments then... which is 75% of us in the workforce. #2 I can't speak for any of the techs at Jiffy Lube but why would they think its okay to do a half ass job of placing your new sticker on a bumper without properly cleaning off the residue from the previous one. Would they like it if there car was returned to them that way? Just saying.... there were techs everywhere standing around in the waiting room and garage, one of them could have been assigned to clean that nasty glue off my bumper... As a minor note, they leave cars that are done being serviced with there windows down behind the building, unsupervised. read more

They have fast service at a ok price, but the staff plays around in the shop a bit much when customers are around. It would be useful to have some kind of knowledge about the oil that you need for your car because, the attendant might give you the basic oil instead of the oil best for milage etc. I priced Firestone and the pricing was close to this place, but the professionalism, knowledge and confidence in their product sold me. If it wasn't for I time crunch I would have waited a hour 1/2 for a change. This place is ok if you need a change RIGHT NOW, but if you have time to wait FIRESTONE is a better bet. read more

Went in on a football game Sunday which was completely empty. Oil change was literally 5 maybe 10 mins. That could be a good and bad thing. I don't know if it was fast bc there was no one else was there. The service guys kept coming in to check the game score or bc they were rushing to get back to the game. Came to service my car (Lexus) they did a oil change and a radiator flush. Radiator fluid started leaking out and it did take them a couple times to find the problem.
