This update is NOT speaking to the friendly guys at Jiffy Lube. I find it imperative to point out that I got charged over $11 today in order to top off my oil. I have never had to pay for top offs and this is why I come to Jiffy Lube. There is supposedly a "fine print," in the "free top-off" service provided. It is up to 2 quarts. I was not happy at all. I have been extremely busy and even tried to make it here a couple days earlier to top off my oil. I have never heard of being charged for top offs. I would have been in much earlier had that been the case. Life gets in the way. I feel like there is al lack of understanding and compassion for the customer. I will be calling corporate regarding this issue. read more

I came when they just opened and first they said it would be only 20 min and ends up being over an hour, 2nd they tell me that this location dosent offer a certain oil that another does so my oil change that normally costs me 40$-45$ ends up being 102$ and finally as I'm leaving I had I hear a noise under my car and turns out they left a skid plate hanging so I had to go all the way around with it dragging and wait even longer to get that part of the job fixed which should've have been noticed when car came out or when the job was being done in the first place worst oil change experience of my life. Service is garbage. We dropped off two cars, got lunch, returned and we were told they were "on break" and did not start oil changes until we returned. No go. Way over charged. I came in for oil change, two guys are doing my oil and the two ladies and just doing tablet and top off fluids. On top of that took them 10 min to figure out how to work the pump to extract oil. Didn't even check the tires or air pressure if needed. read more

These guys are always great! Right before thanksgiving, I added windshield washer fluid to my van and the hood would not close! Disaster!! I slowly drove to jiffy lube and they greased up my hood latch and boom! Closed it. Didn't owe them anything at the end. They are always nice and helpful. I like this location! read more

I walked in at 9:20, for an oil change. They told me to pull around back. They took my info, I pulled in, and was out in fifteen minutes. Went in to get an oil change 02/20/2021. Right off the bat the lady started yelling at me. This didn't bother me because I know how people can have bad days, so I carried on with her instructions. She continues to keep her aggressive behavior, so at that point I get a little suspicious. Then they couldn't get my hood open, even though the jiffy lube at Higgins was able too with no problem. A spectacular combination of incompetence and rudeness. The manager on duty was unbelievably rude and condescending, they didn't fully latch the hood when they were done, they didn't re-attach the under-body splash guard correctly, and my low oil warning light came on 10 minutes after I left. These are some of the most incompetent technicians. I went to get a headlight changed.... after 10 min of waiting one technician called me to my vehicle, asking if i know how to take the headlight fixture out as they did they did not know how to... if i knew how to change headlights (which i should start learning lol), i wouldn't go to jiffy lube for that... anyways i proceeded to go to the Lincolnwood jiffy lube, those guys had my headlight replaced in about 5 minutes. Everyone here was so helpful and explained everything to me thoroughly. And it was FAST. I thought I had to get my oil changed at the dealership or it would void my warranty. This was my first visit to this specific location. I was hesitant to bring it in due to the poor reviews, but I'm glad I did! Berto is the Store Manager and was bought in to help this location due to experience at his 4 Star Jiffy Lube in Franklin Park, Il. Berto was helpful and kept me updated on what his team found and other services that would be need soon. He also replaced my oil plug with a new one after noticing it was rough during removal. The only reason they received 4 instead of 5 stars was due to my steering wheel having reside of oil on it and it been slippery, which I quickly wiped off. read more

WHAT A BUNCH OF IDIOTS WORK AT THIS PLACE!!! I went in for a Oil Change, and decided to have my radiator flushed. The next day while driving back from O Hare Airport, I noticed my radiator heat was almost on the red. I had to pull over 4 TIMES!! to let my engine cool down. I went to get my oil changed at this location yesterday. I was very nervous because in the past I feel like I have been pressured to purchase things I didn't need or have the money for. When I drive up I was greeted with a friendly face. Miguel H. Helped me to open the hood of my car, because I was having trouble. He showed me to the waiting room. They, Miguel and Bernard, worked swiftly on my car. While they were doing that I waited in a clean waiting area. Miguel also was very nice to explain everything to me. I didn't feel pressured at all. I was in and out with an oil change in under 30 minutes. It was a great experience. These two workers have made getting an oil change a good experience. Came here for an oil change for my daughter who was on vacation. Was kindly greeted and carefully (icy outside weather) brought me in the office. The kind gentleman brought up former info on my daughter's service on her car. The very capable mechanic quickly and efficiently changed the oil with the correct choice from the history, vacuumed the car beautifully, checked the fluids and topped off as needed. Not once have I ever had a door slammed on my face until today, at jiffy lube, by a jiffy lube employee. If I could give 0 stars I would. What a trash excuse of a jiffy lube. I never write reviews but this needed to be written about. I'm sure it will get deleted, but I'll make sure to keep posting it. Sunday 1/27, I enter the parking lot, see someone at front desk on their phone. Pull around and wait at the garage for 5 mins, and nothing happens. Pull around to the front to go inside and the male is gone, as if he's hiding. I proceed to knock on door since I know he's there and am slightly angry at this point. He answers and first thing he says "why are you banging on my door?" My responses was "because you're supposed to be open...?" He said they were not and would tell me why if I didn't bang on the door. (Even though the door clearly said 9am-5pm) Then proceeded to tell me he would call the cops for knocking on the door... lol. Then closed said door on my face. I didn't catch a name, but it's the poor excuse of a human that was "working" on Sunday 1/27 around 11:30am. When I pulled off in their lot, another car came and asked me if they were closed so I told him my experience. He said this is the second time this week he's come during office hours and they've been closed. Garbage garbage garbage.
