This should be a ZERO star. I brought in one of our delivery van for a simple oil change. Upfront I showed them the $ 21.99 coupon I printed from their web site as soon as they saw it the up selling began, they're insisting on an engine flush since I have not taken this vehicle to them in a long time (been to other shops regularly). As I resisted to extra services they informed me that they're refusing service because they cannot find my model in the computer and don't know how much oil it will need. 1. They serviced this vehicle before. 2. It's very common 2001 GMC Savanah Van. 3. When they refill they see how much oil went in. This is as dishonest as it gets so I turned on my phone and started recording, as soon as he saw I was recording he started grabbing after my phone saying I cannot record so I stopped and did not record further. Search on youtube for Jiffy Lube Scam and see how they're scamming customers - I should have done this before I went there. read more

This location cost me another $60! Came in for a full synthetic oil change they also suggested I needed a new cabin filter so they did that As well. About a day later I noticed a leak in my driveway. I call this location to let them know since they had their hands on it a couple days ago. They tell me to go in, no problem. They inspect it, they tell me that's its NOT an oil leak. That it could just be the a.c., I knew it wasn't the a.c. the viscosity of the leak was slippery and a little thicker than water, oily really. So they check it out, they tell me theres NO oil leak seen. Week later somethings STILL leaking. Concerned about a transmission leak, i take it to the dealer for inspection. Turns out that when jiffy lube put their hands on my car the plug they used was not the same for my car fit. Therefore, leaving an OIL LEAK. Yes, an OIL LEAK. I had to pay for another oil change to get that proper plug fitting. I don't live close to downey. I live 62 miles away. I could not go back to them AGAIN so they can rectify THEIR mistake. The dealer told me that it was obvious... OBVIOUS it was an oil leak. Lesson learned, this is why they say to avoid Jiffy Lube. I was hoping they could disprove the claims of doing a poor job. At the cost of another $60 for me, it was not disprove. read more

They don't even deserve the ONE star!!! up early i decided to get a quick oil change,on a 4cyl car. 8 min goes by the attendant asked " what type of oil would you like" i figured synthetic, that's what THE Toyota DEALER uses. OK he says, "your total will be $79.99." WTF!!! $80.00 for a OIL CHANGE on a 4 Cyl car, something WRONG!!! Get the F out-of hear alarm goes OFF. No thank you, ill just go to the dealer for the oil change ($49.99) he says ok hold on a sec, comes back and says i can give you 12.00 off...now i'm really thinking "GET THE FUK OUT OF HEAR!!!!" No thanks i reply, at that point he has a worried look on his face. i say "LET ME GUESS, you already dropped the oil? he says "YES" WTF, really you drop the oil with out telling the customer how much!! I don't mind going into an oil change and them letting me know of issues or things that need done but it is absolutely disrespectful to try and make a customer feel stupid because SHE knows how to change her own cabin air filter. Shady business practices, I took my car in for an oil change and they told me that I needed to have my transmission flushed and the transmission oil changed. They told me they can discount it down from 150 to to about 85 ( I thought great deal) but I told hem I needed to talk to my husband to see if we could spare the extra cash. That was first mistake, I told them I would try and get my car in the next day. I left the lot and talked to my husband he said go for it and I went right back (gone for maybe five minutes) I get there and tell them to do the transmission flush, they get started and then have sign the quote for $170, I told the same guy that he quoted 85 and he said that was only if I did it at the time of the oil change (never mentioned that)and then he said he could discount it. Since they already started I just said screw it. After paying $140 (ok they discounted $30) I leave and look at the receipt they were only planning charging me $150 and they only discounted $10. I will not be coming back here again. The only good thing is they were the first people to tell me I don't need a radiator flush. read more

This place was a bit of a scam. I pulled up asked how much it was for my Honda Civic (49,000 miles) they said it was going to be 59.99 and 15 dollars off is I wrote a good review on yelp. So I agree to the 59.99 and I have a seat in the waiting room they call me up and ask what oils I wanted to use I said full synthetic so the guy goes out to the shop and comes back in to tell me it'll be ready in a few. Once it's done he calls me up again and says it's 94 dollars I told him what I was told before but all he could do is give me a 12 dollar discount thought jiffy lube was the place to go but turns out it's just another money hogging shop that tries to steal whatever trap you fall into. read more

First time using jiffy lube and first time using this specific jiffy lube. Service was pretty good even tho I knew a few works where a bit tired. I give them a break since it was only Monday. Any way I can for a oil change and came out with a smile on my face. They inform you about critical pats of your car and inform you of there price and was is recommend (I wish dealers would be detail like jiffy is) anyways. I spend the same amount I would as a dealership but I got better service, quicker service, informative care and advice to make sure I stay on the road. I have been here twice out of convenience. But I will not be back again. Last year, I visited this location for a scheduled maintenance. I was assured that everything checked out and I went on my merry way. A week later, I was left stranded because my battery was dead. I recently got my oil changed here and I started to smell smoke while I was driving. I also noticed my car was leaking oil because it kept getting on my driveway. I went to a different mechanic to see what was wrong with my car and he told me the oil filter was not put on tightly when I got my last oil change so a lot of it was leaking. I don't recommend this location, especially for the price they charged me and the time it took to change my car's oil. read more

Alright so i came in today, and the workers are super friendly and nice, but i do have a problem the prices for an oil change are outrages! Almost 90 dollars for an oilchange with tax. Thank god i went on yelp and found out about their coupon. They really didnt mention about any coupons. They were friendly, but i feel like they do try and take your money. Also i know this is a small thing, but they said they vacuumed and they didn't at all. I mean i know its nothng but if they said they did something and didnt, it just makes me not trust them. Went to get an oil change it started out all good told me what I needed done but when they finished they didn't pump my tires when I told them they said oh it's cause our pump is broken they weren't going to tell me. They debt me to the one on firestone to finish. They could have gave me a discount or something for not finishing or telling me. I knew my tires were low cause my car told me and kept beeping to remind me. I recommend not going to this place go to the one on Firestone. They didn't hesitate on fixing and finishing what this one didn't do. If your machine is broken get a new one and at least tell your guest you didn't do what is always done. After we went into the office and the manager Britney helped us out with pricing and the right oil. She even got her hands dirty she showed us the cap of the oil tube to ensure we're getting the right oil. She even offered us a discount for the blend oil change!!
