DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! I went in for an oil change on 5/9, my car stalled on me a few days later. A week after the oil change and some repairs not previously needed were done, my started making a crazy, whining sound and something came out of my oil pan while I was driving. Turns out something was dropped in the oil during the oil change, it went through my system and when the pressure built up, shot out of the oil pan (I'm not a mechanic I may be saying this wrong). I filed a claim with corporate and Jiffy Lube denied my claim saying because I have over 200,000 miles a rod came from my engine through the oil pan. Nothing was wrong with my car before the oil change and I definitely did not need any major repairs and there IS NO ROD. I have pictures when it happened on the highway might I add. DO NOT COME HERE FOR ANYTHING! THE WORST SERVICE AND TREATMENT I'VE EVER RECEIVED IN MY LIFE from an establishment!! I went in for a state inspection at 11:30 on 8/22. It was a repeat inspection as my car had previously failed. There was no one in front of me and I was told the inspector was there. I proceeded to wait with my car, and a lady came and took my registration and told me to wait. I waited for around 10-12 minutes while workers were standing around talking. No services were being performed at the time. Tired of waiting, I got out and asked where the inspector was, as I had to go! I was told he was coming. Another customer behind me was waiting also. After about another 5 minutes, someone finally comes and takes my car into the bay. The customer behind me wanted to leave and I told the people in the bay that she wanted her registration back and would just go elsewhere. They told her to pull into the bay next to mine. When I went in to pay I complained to the person taking my money about how I shouldn't have to wait like that while people were standing around. He then said "well you should've gone someplace else then!" I couldn't believe I was being treated with such rudeness!! I gave him a piece of my mind and told them I will never ever come here again, and he said, "fine then don't!" Went in for oil change. I also had low air pressure and asked upfront to add air. I also verbally confirmed that they addressed it at the end of the appointment. Then I got in the car which historically has the air light turn off immediately after adding air, and the light was still on. I got out and went back in a third time to confirm air was added. I was told It was and I just needed to drive around on it. Waited a week and drove on highways and the light is still on. Filled it up myself and it went off immediately. I'm a long-time Jiffy Lube customer, but I'll certainly never be back to this location and possibly any. I stopped in for an oil change before the holidays and learned that Jiffy Lube is now selling tires - a new item to scam unsuspecting customers on, apparently. During my oil change, I received a hard sell on four new tires. I was told that the two passenger side tires were dangerously worn and would fail inspection, making for dangerous holiday travel. No explanation for why both passenger tires would be worn rather than both front or both back. They informed me that both driver's side tires were perfectly fine. You might think this was just a miscommunication, but we discussed the oddity of this in the shop - the technician told me it was strange, but they needed to be replaced, and they documented this quite clearly on my bill as urgent recommended services. I opted to NOT take them, and instead used some of my valuable holiday time taking my car for second opinions at three tire shops. You know, businesses that actually sell tires. All three told me the same thing. My front tires were almost down to the wear bar and would certainly still pass inspection. If I wanted to be extra cautious in winter weather, I could replace those. However, both back tires were practically new and certainly needed no replacing. It appears this was just a new way to con customers into items that they didn't need. I shudder to think of how many holiday customers they scared into this scam. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to go where they won't actively lie to you. read more

When I was in the lobby waiting, one of the techs told a lady she didn't have any coolant. He straight up lied to her. He just added some to her reservoir. These guys don't know what they're doing! I went to Jiffy Lube during my lunch break to get my state inspection done and brought my laptop in case there was a long wait. I pulled up and there was someone there to welcome me immediately. ​I asked how long the inspection would take and was told between 10-15 minutes. Well I was out of there in 10 minutes which was awesome!! I appreciate the quick service and I'll be back to get my inspections here in the future! read more

5 stars for this being the perfect place to get something super simple done super quickly, like your yearly NC car inspection. I was in and out in about 15 minutes; my alternative options that day required appointments 4 hours beforehand and would take "about an hour" to finish. Jiffy Lube didn't require any appointment, the guys were all very polite and friendly, and the whole process was efficient. There is a small air-conditioned waiting area with free wifi, a TV, and some coffee available, but honestly there's really no need since there's not much of a wait at all. read more

The people were very professional and super friendly and very groomed. The shop was clean and chairs were setup to encourage social distancing. There was a small k cup station and WiFi. They were quick and when I arrived there was not a long wait, maybe 5 minutes. They even had mask available. The service was great and they didn't try to sell me an air filter :) cause I didn't don't need one!!! They were very reasonably price and there was an online coupon available. Got a super efficient oil change here the other day and was very pleased with the service and the quick turnaround! Not a huge lobby to wait in, but I didn't wait for long at all so no complaints here. I was quoted less than the actual cost at other mechanics in the area but had gone to Jiffy Lube thinking it would be the original price I was told and it wasn't. Went in for the signature service oil change when I needed to get it done quickly. The oil change was fast but they skipped over vacuuming the interiors and it makes me wonder what else they skipped. I take my fleet of cars to this Jiffy Lube for inspections because they're close by and quick. I have called to complain that they have passed my car even though it has a brake light out (This happened twice) which is pretty basic. They don't even have the decency to tell you your light is out when that is clearly something they're supposed to be checking. This week was the last straw. A tire guy came to check all my tires and showed me how bad they were and explained how dangerous it was for us to be driving on these tires. One car had dry rot! I checked and one of the cars had passed inspection just last month! The other one had passed just a couple months prior! Please see the photos of these tires to see if they are safe and should have been passed. Absolutely not. If you want your unsafe car to pass inspection without them telling you anything, this place is perfect for you! read more

From what I've heard and personally experienced, Jiffy Lubes can clearly vary dramatically from one to the next in terms of overall quality. This particular establishment wasn't anything to write home about, but it wasn't horrible either. So I went to Jiffy Lube to get my oil changed, and it turned out that there were a few other things that needed servicing/adjusting as well. Overall, the staff was very friendly and non-pressuring as they went through all the various service options. I never felt like I was being hassled or forced to pay for anything that I was not 100% sure I wanted. In the end, the technician even opted not to rotate my tires (which I had initially decided to have done) and subsequently informed me and took that charge off of my bill (very honest!). The team of technicians was pretty fast and efficient, and one gentleman even held the door for me as I was leaving. How's that for customer service?? There were even a couple of female technicians, and a fellow customer (of the female persuasion) openly remarked to one of the female techs that her presence made her feel more comfortable in dealing with her "car issues". The female staff member accepted the compliment graciously and with a smile. Another nice touch is that they give you a pretty hefty coupon book upon checkout! As mentioned in a prior review, this Jiffy Lube is pretty small and has a somewhat unusual layout as there is seemingly very little or no parking. When entering in through the parking lot, you pull your car around back where one of the techs directs you to the entrance of an open stall. Upon putting your car in park, you hop out and into the waiting room and they take care of the rest. They do have free wi-fi so you can putz around on your phone while you wait, and there is a small tv (which was playing an old western movie during my visit) and coffee urn (which was cold upon my inspection) for your enjoyment. read more

I've been to my fair share of good and bad Jiffy Lubes. This Jiffy Lube far exceeded my expectations. I walked in with a Groupon for an oil change package and drove out 15 minutes later. Let me reemphasize, fifteen minutes. Ridiculous. The only drawback was that even with the Groupon, the service was more expensive than most places'. Came in a month and a half ago to get my oil changed. AC went out right after I hopped in the car, mechanic told me it would turn back on within the next 10 minutes after I start driving. Well, whoever worked on my car completely ruined the AC system and now I have to get it replaced. Drove 5 hours with no AC and I'm still trying to get it fixed. Don't bother going here. read more

I haven't been to Jiffy Lube in years, and now I remember why. I was leaving town on Saturday (4/16/2011), and hadn't had time to get my car to my regular mechanic, so I was desperate and in a hurry. I brought my own filter along - I like the factory Subaru filters - along with a Subaru-specific sealing ring for the oil pan bolt. I asked the guy who checked me in if they would use my filter and seal ring, and he said to leave it in the car and they would use it. They did the car, and when I went out to leave, my filter (and the sealing washer) were still sitting in my car, right where I left them. I told the guy, and he apologized, and pulled the car back in to redo it. Two minutes later, another tech comes in and shows my filter with a big dent in the top, "Sir, your filter is damaged, do you still want us to use it?" I had opened the undamaged filter box before I left home, and I'm 98% sure it was fine before it made it to Jiffy Lube. I strongly believe that they didn't want to have to do my oil change over again and so they whacked the filter. At that point, I was in a hurry to get out of town, so I just left rather than arguing with them. Their laziness, their unwillingness to actually fix their mistake, and their damaging my filter rather than using it have left me a pissed off ex-customer. read more

Just experienced the worst oil change service that I have ever had. I'm used to Jiffy Lube trying to upsell me to more expensive versions of their oil change, but today the representative was actually dishonest with me about what my final bill would be when I confirmed it with him multiple times. I asked for the cheapest oil change, brought in a coupon and a voucher, and was told that I could only use one of them, but if I wanted to use both it would only be $6 more, bringing my bill to $44. I confirmed this amount with him several times -- $44. What was my final bill? $55. I told him that this was not the amount we had discussed, and he proceeded to lecture me on how he had explained what the discounts and cost would be. Once again, this is after I confirmed with him that my bill would be about $44. I always thought that Jiffy Lube was absurdly over-priced for oil changes -- you can get a decent oil change with a coupon from Merchant's for about $22-23, and that often includes a tire rotation. But after this terrible service experience, I will never be coming back to you again. read more

Jiffy Lube missed an obvious transmission fluid leak and ruined my Thanksgiving holiday plans and cost me $3K to get my transmission replaced. I visited this Jiffy Lube before the holidays with my '93 Volvo. I had a few trips coming up and wanted to make sure that everything was ok. Jiffy Lube gave the car a clean bill of health and sent me on my way. Then, on my way to Thanksgiving, power suddenly stopped going to the wheels. I coasted down an exit ramp and was stranded outside of Wytheville, VA for Thanksgiving. I got a tow to a local garage and they told me I had a transmission fluid leak, I had no transmission fluid at all, and my transmission was busted - it's going to be over $3K to put a new one in and fix the car. I am furious at Jiffy Lube. They totally missed this critical issue (that's part of their checklist!) and not only did it mess up my holiday plans but now I'm out another $3K to fix the results of Jiffy Lube's incompetence. read more

I never thought I would be writing a five-star review of Jiffy Lube, but this place was outstanding in terms of customer service. (Disclaimer: I didn't get my car fixed in any way, shape, or form, so who knows where they stand on that front.) Stopped by in July 2011 to get my annual vehicle inspection done. It was around noon on a Thursday and I was the only person there. The woman working in the office greeted me nicely and told me that they had wifi, beverages, newspapers, TV and such in the waiting room. After no more than 7 or 8 minutes, the guys out in the garage were finished with my inspection. One held the door for me on my way out and the other opened my car door for me. I'm sure the improvement from the way things have been in the past (see other reviews) was the result of some top-down demand from the corporate powers that be. But it was a totally pleasant surprise considering I arrived just wanting to get in and out as quickly as possible. read more

I wish I had read the yelp reviews before going here, because I am worried that this place seriously damaged my car. The attendants were friendly and helpful, and service was relatively fast but that's where the good experience ended. My car is now leaking oil all over my garage floor, and the decorative panel on my BMW driver's side interior door is all marked and scratched. I have no idea why oil is leaking, but I will have to take my car in to the shop. They also didn't vacuum or clean up the interior like other Jiffy Lubes do. Afterward I drove home, and my dad checked my coolant level (you know how that goes, it's a dad requirement). It was really really low! So they didn't even top off my fluids like they said they did. I'm such a fan of this Jiffy Lube! I came in this morning for an oil change and every single person there made a point to greet me. I barely even sat down to drink my coffee before my car was finished. Hot coffee in the waiting room is a plus! Make sure to look online for coupons as you can always find something to make your visit cheaper. They are never pushy with recommendations for your car, and there are no hidden fees. On March 14, 2018 they charged $130 for an oil change and installing a new air filter that took them about 10-15 minutes to complete. The same service would have cost less than $70 anywhere else. I have been a Jiffy Lube customer for decades but I will never use them again. My advice: avoid like the plague the Jiffy Lube on Chapel Hill-Durham Blvd because it will cost you almost twice as much as any other place. They didn't even vacuum the interior, so it's not as if they did some kind of deluxe service. In my opinion, Jiffy Lube corporation should close the Chapel Hill-Durham Blvd. location because most people will stop being Jiffy Lube customers after they experience the insanely high price charged at this location. read more

I haven't been to a Jiffy Lube in almost 5 years due to an incident in Seattle (where the person who changed my oil forgot to replace the cap, allowing oil to spew all over my engine when the car was turned back on). I pay 10x too much to get my oil changed at the dealership now and am a little compulsive about checking to see if they've replaced the oil cap. However, today I needed to get my annual inspection for registration and I needed to do it ASAP. This Jiffy Lube is open until 7pm, near the Q-shack and the people working here were surprisingly polite and efficient. Perhaps it is time for my Jiffy Lube boycott to officially end. read more

I have gotten my oil changed at this Jiffy Lube a couple of times, and everything went just fine. However, my most recent experience was not so pleasant. As I was leaving the store, there were huge billows of white smoke coming out of my exhaust system and the gears weren't changing correctly. My five-year-old car was running well coming into Jiffy Lube, so it seemed pretty clear that the problem was caused by the oil change. After going back and forth with the general manager, Chad, for a while, my car eventually had to be towed to a mechanic's shop. They found that the folks at Jiffy Lube had put twice as much oil in the car as there should have been. I received a refund for Jiffy Lube's oil change, which I very much appreciated. Chad originally said that they would "definitely 100%" pay for the mechanic's bill if the problem was a result of the oil change, but he was not keen on making that happen once it was proven to be their fault. He also never admitted that they made a mistake and made it sound as though the mechanic was dishonest. Whatever, dude. It was just a headache. Not a huge, life-changing experience, but it was annoying to deal with. It certainly doesn't make me trust their expertise...but it was a really cheap option to get my oil changed, and I suppose you do always get what you pay for. read more

I don't normally do reviews but the service has prompted me to be thankful that they are still good people out there. My mother-in-law was driving my car over the weekend and it started to overheat. She took it to the Jiffy Lube and they helped her by replacing the radiator that was leaking. As she left we realize that the water pump was not working and it was not safe for her to drive home. She returned the car back to Jiffy Lube and she was going to take an Uber to get home. The manager Mario then had one of his employees take my mother-in-law all the way back to Brier Creek to make sure that she got home safely. This type of service is very uncommon these days and I'm very grateful that they were there to take care of her when she needed them the most highly recommend the staff and their service will definitely use them in the future!!! read more

My usual place was closed so I decided to visit Jiffy Lube. One plus is that they are open on Sundays. Very convenient. I pulled right in to a empty bay and the guys got to work. I was in the waiting room for about 5 minutes when I was called back out the bay. One of the techs told me that the screw that secures the oil pan was stripped. He was having a difficult time removing it and I might be asked to visit the place where I got the last oil change. Fortunately, he was able to remove (and replace) the screw. They vacuumed the inside of the car and drove it out front in about 15 minutes. I thanked the techs for doing a great job. I added that I found a new place to get my oil changes. My radiator was leaking and I needed a new one. I went to AAA first. They wanted to charge me $1000 for that and a bunch of other extra things. Then, I went to this Jiffy Lube where I had gotten my oil changed before. Not only were the guys so nice, but they were honest too. They flat out told me that AAA was trying to overcharge me for things I didn't even need. They replaced my radiator for much less than half of what AAA was trying to charge me, and said nothing else needed to be done on the car. Fast service and great people here who don't overcharge you for things you don't need. I'd highly recommend to anyone. Anytime I need car repairs or an oil change, this is where I'm going. read more

Outside of my car dealership, I'm very hesitant to take my car elsewhere. But I was not near Ohio so took my car in to the Jiffy Lube and was pleasantly surprised at how kind the staff was and how quickly they rectified my problem. The specialist also found me a coupon at the end and gave me a better deal for the issue than I had thought.
