She had a very calming effect to what could have been a stressful situation. The price she' quoted me was much lower than where u was originally going to attend which is one of the reasons why I came here. They replaced my tire in a timely manner. But now the business is under new ownership and management and I must say that coming into the place was such a Delightful change of scenery. Upgrades and improvements abound and there is more to come with expanded seating in the customer waiting area and new touches to the decor. The wonderful Lady at the counter, Alicia, was very nice and accommodating. I went in to get my tire serviced because I had a slow leak the night before. I used fix a flat to get home from work but ,the gentleman who looked at my tire, discovered that the fix a flat had literally plugged the hole from inside (it tends to do that sometimes but I had to make sure). He gave me a complementary air pressure check for all four tires and charged me nothing for his service which I thought was very, very nice because he did put in a lot of effort to find any possible leaks and pressurize my tires. I thoroughly recommend this business because of the hospitality, the cleanliness, the obvious improvements and the quality of service.

I wasn't sure if they actually did rotate my tires, so I called & was told yes, indeed they did. The guy on the phone told me they keep the same tires in front & the same in back. well, I just got another rotation elsewhere, & they told me my tires were terrible & had not been rotated in a WHILE. Very disappointing this company lied to my face & charged me for a service they didn't even provide. Will not be returning, very disappointing. Adding more since I just removed my cabin air filter. I also paid for my filters to be replaced, & judging by these pictures taken TODAY, these were not changed when I came in. I'm in absolute utter disbelief. Wish I could give a negative star review. You guys should be ashamed.

I've used this location of Chapel Hill Tire on multiple occassions. Most recently for lube service…read moreand requested a quote on a spark plug job on my Toyota. The good - the service writers are fairly friendly. The bad - pricing appears to be above market rates. The dealer wanted $700 for spark plug change - Chapel Hill Tire was $808 - I ended up getting the job done for $480+ tax up the road at another shop. They do not give you an invoice or paper receipt - so you can't look over the work performed at the time of pick up - they are "paperless" which is in my opinion bad business and bad for the consumer. Shifting the cost of a piece of paper on the customer is tacky, cheap, and unprofessional. They will email it to you. I also got a quote for tire installation - they charge $100 more if you provide the tires from a competitor or from Tire Rack. $118 if you purchase their tires; Over $200 if you use Tire Rack tires or provide your own $55/ wheel/tire. Based on all of this experience - I can't endorse Chapel Hill tire at this time. UPDATED REVIEW: 11/24/25 I had to return to Chapel Hill Tire on Franklin St because Discount Tire attempted to put new tires on my Tacoma on Friday. They were able to do 3 of the wheels and the 4th, a front right wheel would not come off because one of the lugnuts was driven on so tight, it broke their tools. Chapel Hill Tire was the last shop to rotate my wheels and tires - which is done on each oil change at 5,000 mile intervals beacause AT tires require this level of attention. This was performed in April 2025. I did not rotate the tires and wheels in September because I was replacing the tires. Unfortunately, now I am being charged $261.00 by Chapel Hill Tire to "fix" or remove the busted / stuck lugnut. This was completely avoidable had their technician in April not driven the lugnut on so tight. I really don't like impact wrenches but most shops use them because it saves time and cuts down their bottom line costs. I was also informed, to remove this lugnut "minimal scratching" will occur to the wheel - which is not great. If the scratching is at all visible on the wheel I will have to refinish the wheel or replace it or have it repaired. $261 - Today's repair $20 - 2 Lyft rides to and from And my time to schedule this and 2 appointments instead of 1 to get my new tires installed. I will not return to Chapel Hill Tire on Franklin St and I can't endorse them any longer for any work. -CT UPDATE post pickup of my truck: Not only did Chapel Hill Tire charge me $261.00 for a problem they created - they didn't install the TPSM sensor in the wheel and they did not notify me when they called with the estimate they were having any problems whatsoever. I did not realize this until I got home - they don't print you an invoice - because saving .03 on printing an invoice is how CHT operates. When I arrived home I found the TPMS sensor in my cupholder. Now I can return to Discount Tire - to have them FIX a 2nd problem created by Chapel Hill Tire. They can look forward to a credit card dispute at this point for the full amount of $261.00.

Always honest with what I need and what I don't and friendly. Fiats are never cheap to work on but they provided fair pricing. I took it to the local Toyota dealership where the entire pan needed to be replaced since the bolt was hopelessly stuck. When I returned to Take Five, the manager was rude, accepted no responsibility, saying that I must have tampered with their work. He then made a misogynist comment that because I'm a woman I must have been fooled by the dealership. Terrible work and unacceptable customer relations. Never again.

The place to go for oil changes, inspections and repairs!…read more I have been a long-time customer of this business. The guys at Hope Valley 66 auto repair shop always contact you within a timely basis to give you a reasonable estimate on any repairs that you may need. They will not suggest unnecessary repairs and will not try to overcharge you on service. Getting oil changes and inspections here is a breeze, I never have to wait very long, especially if I arrive in the morning on a weekend. If you need a more complex maintenance service or repair performed, generally you need to bring in your vehicle on a weekday for the mechanic to perform diagnostics. Whenever I have had to drop off my car for such a service, I will receive a call within a few hours after diagnostics are complete, with an estimate to approve of the repair. Usually, the repair (brake work for example) is complete by the end of the day. On occasion, a repair might take longer than that due to waiting on a part to arrive or some other factor but rarely do I have to wait more than a day or so. Be aware that this is an independent shop, not part of a large dealership chain or something, so the waiting area is fairly small and spartan. I believe there is free Wi-Fi available but have not had to use it for any period of time. Again, Hope Valley 66 offers solid, reliable service for very reasonable rates and I would recommend them easily.
