Employees standing around while I'm waiting for service.

DO NOT COME HERE FOR ANYTHING! THE WORST SERVICE AND TREATMENT I'VE EVER RECEIVED IN MY LIFE from an establishment!! I went in for a state inspection at 11:30 on 8/22. It was a repeat inspection as my car had previously failed. There was no one in front of me and I was told the inspector was there. I proceeded to wait with my car, and a lady came and took my registration and told me to wait. I waited for around 10-12 minutes while workers were standing around talking. No services were being performed at the time. Tired of waiting, I got out and asked where the inspector was, as I had to go! I was told he was coming. Another customer behind me was waiting also. After about another 5 minutes, someone finally comes and takes my car into the bay. The customer behind me wanted to leave and I told the people in the bay that she wanted her registration back and would just go elsewhere. They told her to pull into the bay next to mine. When I went in to pay I complained to the person taking my money about how I shouldn't have to wait like that while people were standing around. He then said "well you should've gone someplace else then!" I couldn't believe I was being treated with such rudeness!! I gave him a piece of my mind and told them I will never ever come here again, and he said, "fine then don't!" Don't waste your hard earned dollars on such lack luster service and rude treatment by employers. DO NOT COME TO THIS JIFFY LUBE!!

Went in for the signature service oil change when I needed to get it done quickly. The oil change was fast but they skipped over vacuuming the interiors and it makes me wonder what else they skipped. The waiting room is clean, quiet and has wifi if you want to get a few minutes of work done. Staff are super friendly as well.

    Neat, super friendly, quick service!

Keith was super friendly. He had me in and out for an oil change and air filter replacement in less than 25 minutes. He even gave me a coupon book for future services! Definitely my go to spot!

The mechanic listened, asked good follow-up questions, made sure he understood the problem before drawing any conclusions, and then diagnosed it cleanly. The part arrived within the window he quoted (2-3 hours), was installed without fuss, and the final bill was reasonable. What stood out as much as the technical work: he flagged a slow coolant leak and a minor oil leak -- this is an older car, so neither was a shock -- but there was no pressure to pile on services. He showed me rough estimates so I'd have them when I'm ready and left the decisions to me. That kind of straightforward, no-upsell approach is rarer than it should be. The waiting area is a genuine plus: free wifi, a table big enough to work at, and a small fridge with complimentary drinks, large TV. My one suggestion would be to add a coffee in the AM. Also, the door to the reception currently reads "B". Might want to avoid any confusion with better signage. That said, I am a big fan of this establishment and will be using them for repairs in the future (apparently sooner than I want :) Bonus: he pointed me to a wonderful Indian place across the street, Biryani, which I'd highly recommend if you have time to kill while your car is being worked on.

I took it back to the shop and they told me it had essentially no coolant in it. I immediately asked the technicians why there was no coolant. They told me, "It was filled up when it was here." When I asked, "Then why is there no coolant in it now?", they couldn't give me an explanation beyond repeating that they had filled it. The car continued losing coolant and overheating. I brought it back multiple times, and I was repeatedly told that they had pressure-tested the cooling system and that there were no pressure issues and everything was fine. They also told me there were no warning lights indicating a problem. Meanwhile, I was constantly having to refill the coolant and pull over when the car overheated. One time I had to sit on the side of the road for about 45 minutes waiting for a friend to bring me coolant just so I could get the car home without overheating it. Eventually the car broke down on the highway and had to be towed. After all those previous visits where I was assured the cooling system was fine, I was finally told that the head gasket had blown and that replacing the engine would cost around $6,000. After I challenged that price, the estimate was suddenly reduced to around $3,000. I'm not upset that a Subaru developed a mechanical problem. I'm upset that I repeatedly reported coolant loss and overheating, and I was repeatedly told the cooling system was fine. The car eventually suffered a major failure anyway. I don't trust this shop and I won't be taking another vehicle there. If you're dealing with a recurring mechanical problem, I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before continuing to rely on their diagnosis

The whole place had such good vibes: everyone I met was pleasant, upbeat, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. I got to meet the owner, Steve, along with my car's new bff Pablo, who went above and beyond during what was scheduled as a simple service visit. He affixed my front license plate, cleaned the inside of my windshield (!), let me tag along on the test drive, and even brought me into the shop to see my car's underside once it was up in the air. How did he know I would absolutely love that? Little things mattered too: the waiting area was comfortable, clean, sunny, and quiet, with a thoughtfully planned garden out front. Rates were refreshingly reasonable--and not one cent over the estimate. It was such an exceptional experience, one that gave me real confidence and peace of mind that my car is in good hands. Three cheers for Wasp Automotive!

A couple days ago I had some issues with my car that would not start. They were kind enough to pick it up and bring to their shop. After careful diagnostics they could not find anything wrong. The place to go for oil changes, inspections and repairs!…read more I have been a long-time customer of this business. The guys at Hope Valley 66 auto repair shop always contact you within a timely basis to give you a reasonable estimate on any repairs that you may need. They will not suggest unnecessary repairs and will not try to overcharge you on service. Getting oil changes and inspections here is a breeze, I never have to wait very long, especially if I arrive in the morning on a weekend. If you need a more complex maintenance service or repair performed, generally you need to bring in your vehicle on a weekday for the mechanic to perform diagnostics. Whenever I have had to drop off my car for such a service, I will receive a call within a few hours after diagnostics are complete, with an estimate to approve of the repair. Usually, the repair (brake work for example) is complete by the end of the day. On occasion, a repair might take longer than that due to waiting on a part to arrive or some other factor but rarely do I have to wait more than a day or so. Be aware that this is an independent shop, not part of a large dealership chain or something, so the waiting area is fairly small and spartan. I believe there is free Wi-Fi available but have not had to use it for any period of time. Again, Hope Valley 66 offers solid, reliable service for very reasonable rates and I would recommend them easily.
