Came in for an oil change with a coupon from the ValPak mailer. They told me it would take 30 minutes, but they had my car done almost 10 minutes early. I found this surprising since it was a coupon special, but I had the car checked out later that day by a friend who is a gear head, and Jiffy Lube did everything they were supposed to do. I brought my car in to have the oil changed. The "technicians" all seemed distracted and unorganized. When I was checked in I asked about a discount, and when they checked me out they forgot about it and I had to remind them of it again. They put the wrong mileage on the reminder tab in my window, the windows that they "cleaned" were streaked and looked like they used old dirty water (the windows looked much worse than when I arrived), and they didn't re-set the "maintenance required" message in my car. When I came back to have them re-set the message, it took 4 guys to figure out how to change it. Sorry guys, I won't be coming back. Came in for a quick oil change that was demanded by my car's maintenance light. Cathy greeted me and got my car checked in in less than five minutes. While changing my oil they checked my engine and cabin air filters and found them to be utterly clogged. It looked like a neglected lint filter after 50 loads of towels. I couldn't believe I was breathing that stuff. They offered to replace them with brand new filters. Ordinarily this might be considered an up-sell but Cathy went out of her way to find me coupons that not only saved me money on the filters but the oil change as well. This is customer caretaking and pinnacle service. My only gripe is that I barely had time to finish the cup of coffee they gave me before they were finished! Went to this jiffy lube this evening because I noticed it was empty and thought I could get a quick oil change all the employees were standing outside smoking cigarettes when my husband and I pulled up. The employee walked over to me and asked what I wanted when I told him I needed an oil change he told me he would not be able to change my oil due to having a spare tire on my car and said that my tire was more important then my oil. That is my choice as the car owner to maintain my car how I please and it came off very rude. I have friends that work for jiffy lube and after checking with them if this was a jiffy lube protocol to turn away customers for spare tires and was told it is not. I believe these employees were just trying to get out of any actual work for the rest of the night. I'll keep my money and go where the employees deserve my business read more

When I got to the jiffy lube there was no one here. And they told me it would take 15 minutes. I came back in 25 and they weren't finished which was no big deal. However it did bother me when they closed up my car and instead of checking me out one guy decided to Light a cigarette and walk around after he saw me waiting. He then talked to another person for a while about their car and told his coworker to check me out while he sat and did nothing. The guy who helped me was courteous and working hard but I was disappointed that it took another half an hour for me to leave because only one person was actually working. Then as soon as I got in my car my check engine light was on. It wasn't on in my way in to jiffy lube and they now insist that it was. I would not come back here again. read more

Probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had in my whole life. If i could give a 0 Star I would. I drove up for an oil change and there were 5 cars at the bay. I ask how long it would take and they said minimum of 90 minutes. The girl who was at the bay said if I come back she'd give me a discount. So I run some errands and I show up again with only one other car in the bay this time. Almost being done. Same girl helped me and told me to leave my keys in the ignition. I had my ID and my mini wallet attached but because she told me to leave my keys I didn't even think to take them out. So I let them do their thing and after it was all finished, same girl gave me the price. I told her my cards are attached to my keys. And when I get it back, my ID is gone, and my two cards. However, all my insurance and receipts were in there still. So I ask her where my stuff is? And she says what do you mean? And she tried to put the blame on me by saying check my pockets and bag and that i might have dropped it somewhere. No. I went to Uwajimaya right before and everything was there. All they could say to me was "we don't touch our customers stuff, it's our policy" And they just kept repeating that. Well, I understand that is your policy but my stuff was taken. So i had to call the police and file a report with them. And they still couldn't do anything about it because they don't have cameras. With all that, had to cancel my cards, had my sister come pay for the car because I don't have anything to pay with... and get a replacement ID at the DOL. I'm never coming here ever again, and I hope no one ever has to go through what I had to go through. I'll be spreading the word of what happened here. And hope whoever stole my stuff gets fired and karma bites them in the ass. read more

First time stopping by this location. Came on Saturday, but they were slightly understaffed. Ashley was very professional and after she advised me of the unusual longer wait, I decided to come back today. Took literally 10mn. Good discount (since I had to come back, and another one just because!). Cody was also great to deal with. Didn't push on any additional costs, just very honest and upfront about what was a priority. Waited 15 mins while totally ignored by staff, ironically the female working (Ashley ?) was out taking pictures of MY car while disregarding the customer, me ! Then after the "service" my car ended up with NO FRIGGING OIL !!!!!! With now a completely fried engine.....Wow ! The wonder kids there apparently are not trained on how to properly perform a basic oil change. Ashley is the absolute worst store manager I have ever encountered in my life. Not only did my car sit for 1 1/2 hours, but it was never serviced, never checked in but she continually blamed me because it's not her job to come out and make sure I am checked in. I came in at 3:15 and was greeted by a nice man. He said no problem either staying in the car or leaving. He walked my daughter and I to the bathroom and then told us we can go or stay but if we stay they can't vacuum the car. Ashley was doing a great job with a raised voice yelling at 3 employees while I stood and listened. We then left thinking all was good. I came back about 4:00 and the guy told me it was 10 mins or so. We can back at 4:30 and Ashley started off with attitude and a rude tone telling me nothing had been done. It escalated. She never apologized, never said something simple like how can I fix this, how do we make it right, this isn't right. Instead she blamed her people, blamed that it wasn't her job and a variety of other excuses, including claiming she had greeted me and asked me to wait to be checked in. Not sure where she got this idea, as she was screaming at her employees at the time. Please avoid this shop. Not a nice place. Not good management. This is no way to treat a customer. I lost and hour and a half and still don't have my oil changed. Bummer. read more

They changed my oil. That's cool but it Took 15 minutes for them to reset my oil gauge inside my dashboard, didn't know what they were doing. Plus they Didn't vacuum the front inside like they say they would do, and I asked to double check, and they failed at that, which is included. Last week I had the best Jiffy Lube experience I've ever had. I ended up there on one of their busiest days, after being helped on the phone by Daniel. Once I arrived, they we're true to their word, despite the insane amount of business and had my car in and out in under 15 minutes. They checked my air filters, added air to my tires, as well as changed the oil and got my baby running better than ever. My 18 year old car was treated like a shiny new car and the customer service was friendly and relaxed, despite how hurried they must have felt. My wife and I attempted to have our car serviced at Jiffy Lube, like we have always done with all of our vehicles. We were greeted by our window by Talia, who later identified herself as the General Manager. Talia, along with all other visible employees was not wearing a mask. She was standing 6 inches from the window and asking me to roll down the window. I gestured that I would like her to back up or put a mask on. She backed up another 6 inches, nowhere near the recommended 6 feet. I told her that she was going to need to back up 6 feet or put a mask on. She scoffed and left and came back with a mask, visibly annoyed. The service quickly went downhill from there. When she tried to hand us a filthy clipboard and dirty pen, we let her know that we were not comfortable with touching those items and asked that she take down our information that we gave her verbally. She rolled her eyes, huffed, and said "fine". She then demanded that I roll the window all the way down or she would not provide us service. It became clear that this was going to be a futile attempt to service our car as she had no interest in taking necessary safety precautions and we had no interest in getting Covid. We asked that the service be stopped. We drove directly to Grease Monkey and had a wonderful experience. They were all masked, they did not require us to physically touch any items outside our vehicle, and although I couldn't see their smile, it was clear through their demeanor and conversations that they were most certainly providing "service with a smile." The experience we had at Grease Monkey was 180 degrees different than the one we experienced at Jiffy Lube. Your GM, Talia's cavalier attitude toward state-mandated safety precautions, along with her appalling lack of customer service, has all but assured that we will not be returning to Jiffy Lube. read more

First time here and I was pleased by the courteous and fast service for the regular $29.99 oil change. I was a drop-in on a Saturday around noon time, with one car ahead of me and I was out in 30 minutes. All the other systems on the car (2007 Dodge Caliber with only 16,221 miles) checked good and there was no upsell, cross-sell or other sales B.S. . I'd give them 5 stars if they had only had put some kind of sticker on the windshield to remind me when the next oil change was due. We showed up at 6:07 PM asked for an oil changed. They told us that they couldn't see us. That they stop taking people at 6:30. We said "Umm it's 6:07 PM" They said "Well it's first come first serve and this car is the last one, but there are other places on Sun set" Bull. You just wanted to get out early. It's 6:07 PM. You close at 7 PM. If you dont take clients after 6:30 then your hours need to be posted as such. We complained again and they said they would see us but we were too paranoid that since we complained they would on purposely do a bad job or rush the job and wouldn't do something right. Don't let the 1 star fool you, it's only because you can't give a 0 star rating, which this place deserves. Let me begin by saying that the oil change itself was just fine - yeah they upsell you with other fancier services, but that was expected. What I did not expect was the blatant and completely uncalled for racism. I was sitting in their office as they were working, and one of the Caucasian guys came in. And out of nowhere, he started speaking to me in Chinese. I don't speak Chinese, so I kindly let him know that I don't speak. He got an incredulous look on his face and said, "But I saw your name! Your last name is Wang!", to which I stated "Yes, but I don't speak." His face then went to an almost disgusted look, and he said, "Well why not?!" - a question that was not only unnecessary, but completely unprofessional and one that I did not need to answer. To humor him, I gave a brief explanation, which he immediately scoffed back at me, "Well, I travelled all over China for business, AND I married a Chinese woman, AND we teach and speak to our son in Chinese so he knows Chinese". And my response, "Great, are you done with my car yet?" The fact that he judged me, made assumptions about me, then had the audacity to stand there and try to make me feel inadequate because I did not fit his assumptions - THAT is the reason I will never come back here. FYI there are 2 locations in Renton, so save yourself the trouble and just go to the other one. read more
