That's his name, he threatened and menaced me in front of everyone, including other customers watching. I attempted to use the $16 off coupon from the Jiffy Lube website, and he said he cannot grant it. When I asked him to please just scan the code, he began to gas light me, asking me if I didn't want him to pay his employees what they deserve? A bit confused here. I am the customer and have nothing to do with that. Eventually, he began to threaten me saying he will not release my vehicle to me unless I pay full price. I asked again, if he can just scan the barcode and once again, he refused. As I was pressured to just make the payment in full, I used one of my cards that held a balance of a little less than the total cost, which I already knew. DANIEL T. Beware! Before I visited this location, I visited their website and got pricing. Online I was quoted $114.99 for up to 8 quarts. My quote was then purportedly sent to the location and all I needed to do was show up and reference my quote. When I arrived I told the guy helping me that I had completed the online quote, gave him the pricing and also mentioned the coupon I had printed for $16 off. He told me it would be $112 and then put my info into the computer. Moments later he said because of my engine size, it would require 3 extra quarts and the cost would be $161. I told him that is not what I was quoted online and he didn't care as, "that is the price, I have." Don't come here. Save yourself the stress and time. Pay the extra to get serviced by professionals not by mediocre. I visited this location for service 1hr before close and on their website it clearly sates they service engine diagnostic and when I got there I was turned away and denied the service. Some guy said they don't do that and I'm best off going with a professional. I promise and quote that was said to me. I gasped and just blown away. CHEATING PROPER PROTOCOLS, NOW I HAVE TO PAY EXTRA $$. I got an oil change back in April and had some concerns at the time, but didn't bother following up because they seemed like minor services (versus the oil change that I needed). First off, they advertise that you get a vacuuming + topping off all fluids with an oil change. I confirmed with the employee that my car had received those services, but my car did not look vacuumed nor did I have windshield fluid a couple days later when I tried using it. I paid $88 (more expensive than the dealer) and didn't even get those smaller services that I thought I was paying for. It annoyed me but I didn't think to write a review about that. Instead, I just wasn't going to go back. Now that I'm getting my next oil change, I'm seeing that there are even more problems with the services I received. My friend who works on cars and the dealership that I'm getting service from both tell me that the screw to my oil pan was put on WAY too tightly. The dealership left it at that, but my friend mentioned that it is WAYYYY beyond the accepted torque setting and is a cheating way to not properly put a washer on to avoid oil leaks. Now I'm paying for a screw replacement in addition to being told that the oil pan will also have to be replaced in the future since the screw area is stripped and will soon have more leaks. Thanks Jiffy Lube. Car services are hard to go to because it is so easy to get taken advantage of since I'm not familiar with car procedures. And my experience at Jiffy Lube is exactly that. This time I came because I had a black plastic bag stuck underneath my car and my car was making horrible loud noises. He removed it all and then told me he was not going to charge me a penny! Normally, I try to write constructive reviews. But my experience here and the lack of response from reaching out brings me to Yelp to gripe. I got my oil changed here 2 weeks ago. When cashing out, the cashier spins the monitor around to show me the services completed. As she goes down the list, there were several items noted as "customer declined", which was odd as I was never even told those extras were an option. But oh well. What irritated me was this. She tells me that "the techs found your tire pressure low, so they raised the pressure from 32 to 35 psi". I told her that couldn't be the case as I had just finished a long road trip abs had upped the pressure to 42psi on all 4 tires. So I asked her, "when I check my tires, am I going to find they lowered the pressure to 35, or that you're lying to me and they will still be at 42?" Insert blank stare here. She reminded me of the little kid that deny eating a cupcake despite a face full of frosting. On checking the tires, all 4 were at 42. I filled out the survey sent to me by Jiffy Lube, marking the survey to please contact me to discuss... not a peep. What would have been a 2 star review (oil change was done quickly, but way over priced and questionable ethics) is now a 1 star review for their lack of follow up. With the number of options available to consumers, this location needs to do better and develop integrity for the next customer. It certainly will not be with me as I will not be back. read more

Last time I left a review for this location was 3 years ago. Still provided a quick and quality service. The person who wrote up my service already got my record from looking at my license plate. The other person who worked on my car was fast and courteous when processing my payment. Scanned the coupon bar code off my phone wo issue. One small recommendation is knowing what is the appropriate weight of oil your car takes. My 07 V6 Camry takes 5w-30 according to manual and it's the synthetic oil weight I used for the last 8 years. Last year, the other location switched to 0W-20 without telling me . I wasn't happy when I saw the final invoice but the JL replaced the oil afterwards wo hassle. (Thank You JL) Today, I made sure the guy knew to use 5W-30. Good thing that I asked. Somehow the system still recommends 0W-20. But he looked up my car model and year somewhere in the system again and saw 5W-30 was recommended. He assured me that they will use 5W-30 even though the system printout said 0w-20. Perhaps 0W-20 is okay too but I preferred to stick to my Driver's manual when it comes General maintenance. read more

The absolute worst! I pulled up and the balding older guy working immediately had an attitude. He sees I have a Valvoline sticker from my last service and gets irritated. He asks if I've been to Jiffy Lube before, and says well, I hope we can find your car in the system. Why would it matter? What if I am a new customer? What if I no longer wanted to be a Valvoline customer? Baffling. He then tells me it will be a 45 minute wait, I'm trying to confirm and he gets even more upset! I just had an oil change here. The only reason why I came to this business is because they are advertising $26 off of a synthetic oil change service if you write a review. Before checking in, I specifically asked if I was getting synthetic oil for my car to make sure the coupon their Yelp was advertising would work. I wrote a review but when it came time to check out I was told that the coupon did not in fact apply to my service. And when he entered the code while checking out it only took off $20 dollars. Mind you, I was upsold on an air filter and the only reason I decided to get it was because I was depending on the $26 dollars off coupon being applied to my oil change. The manager refused to take the extra $6 off. I know $6 is not that much. But this is straight up FALSE ADVERTISING. The manager claimed he has no control over the discounts his Yelp page offers. He blamed it on Yelp. As a business owner with my own Yelp page, I know that is not true. Business owners have complete control over the discounts Yelp promotes on their page on their behalf. Never again, I will do it myself. My last visit marks the third time after visiting JL only later to discover missing/loose bolts that hold my skid plate on. Furthermore I couldn't believe my eyes watching the "tech" trying to reattach the 4 13mm bolts that hold on the skid plate using an air powered impact wrench (the kind for used for lug nuts) where a small hand ratchet is the correct tool. Also the bolts they managed to remember to put back in were missing the washers. Just thinking of that thing coming loose on the freeway is terrifying. read more

What the hell. This place nearly killed me with FIVE of the six lugnuts coming off, with just one holding the wheel. ONE. I AM FURIOUS. This was a standard tire rotation and I am most disturbed by 2 issues that happened to my car after I got it serviced here. First, the wheel nearly coming off. Unbelievable that what I assumed were trained professionals to do this so soon after a rotation. Secondly, they overinflated my tires and now I have to replace these as well. Now I have to get car stud replaced and 4 new tires because of uneven wear caused by the lugnuts. This is not a cheap fix and I am furious that this would happen. The owner said he will replace the air filter for $30 instead of $54, so I agreed to have him change it. But when it was time for me to pay, he changed it to 10% discount of the service which was only about $7 discount plus $20 off oil change coupon which I was initially going to use. When I said "you said you were going to charge $30 for a filter" he said "total discount is $30" This is not what I agreed to, and he is not honoring the discount he offered. I've been to this location several times and always had a good experience, which is the only reason for giving 2 stars instead of 1. However, during my most recent visit, the technician damaged the gasket so badly that all but 0.3 gal of the oil leaked out. There was so little oil by the time I realized what had happened that my car's dash started popping up with a warning signal every time I stopped the car. I had to fine another Jiffy Lube location at the last minute, while on vacation (!), to have it fixed because it was dangerous to be driving the car in that state. I had both my kids in the car with me. I'm not sure whether the technician was just rushing or careless, but having to spend time getting an oil change not once but twice (and on vacation!) is not an experience I want to repeat. read more

I went back and their staff told me they will have to charge $550 something more to fix the "coolant dripping" issue even I told them the fluid was not dripping before they did the oil/coolant change. I got out of work a little bit late. I am usually off at 5pm. I got off closer to 6pm and was able to get to this location around 6:30pm. They close at 7pm and I offered to come a different day but they insisted on helping me out right then. I really appreciated that as my schedule can get pretty hectic. I dealt with a man named Robert. He was extremely kind and attentive. Very polite and well mannered. I would recommend anyone to come to this location as the employees really seem to care about their customers. P.S.
