After numerous people recommend this place to me as having the most awesome sandwiches, i had high hopes and was anxious for an opportunity to go. Then, driving to the movie theater one evening, I noticed this one on 14th street and probably almost caused an accident trying to zoom into the little parking lot. So did it meet my expectations? I think the yelp star rating system already summed it up for me - meh. Ive experienced better. Now, I will say that I got the veggie sub so I cant comment on how great or fresh their meat tasted, but as far as veggie subs go, lets just say I would choose blimpie's veg any day over jimmy johns. It was bland, un-satisfying and just kindof a disappointment overall. They also dont have a very expansive list of toppings and I didnt feel like I had many choices. I woke up this morning and wanted something more substantial than breakfast, yet I also needed something that would pass as a light lunch. I conveniently placed my order online with this Jimmy Johns location and just as advertised the sub arrived "freakishly fast". What I expected was my Turkey Tom, chips, and a drink. What I received was.... far greater! A young man wearing a green jacket (didn't catch his name) arrived with my sub and was so nice, friendly, and made my morning experience good enough to want to write this review. I don't know which store to write this review for since the douche bags that work there don't know how to deliver to my location. After ordering from the one DOWN the street on 14th we waited for the delivery. It did not come. So after calling them they informed us (40 minutes later) that they didn't deliver to our location and so they called another unknown location and placed the order with them on our behalf. Thanks assholes. The other store called them back and said they didn't deliver to our location it was their location. Then without calling us back and without making the f**king sandwiches. We called back. They said they needed the credit card info AGAIN. They deliver sandwiches to my employees all week long.....and now they can't figure it out. What a bunch of dumb asses. Finally two hours after calling the first time we got the crappy sandwiches. I will never do this again. read more

What a great sandwich this Jimmy fellow makes. I was suspicious at first. The outside doesn't look like much and the parking isn't good if you drive anything larger than a Mini. But the sandwiches are yummy. You can call Subway and tell them to quit. Their personal pizzas are not helping. The JJ Gargantuan is the Mike Tyson of the bread and lunch meat world (without the felonies). It's two meals for sure. Fresh bread, great cuts, the sweet tea is good, and the menu is chuckle worthy (read it while you wait). And, it's cheap. The downside? The dining area is small and often crowded and the music loud and just plain awful. Seriously? You're going to play Um-ba-rella at 11? Why would you do that. The staff is always responsive as soon as you walk in. No cell phone distractions. Hand hygiene practices in use. Sandwich ingredients always fresh and tasty. There is a JJ across the street from my apartment and I'd rather drive the two miles to enjoy this location instead. read more

Yes, the sandwiches are good and their service is at the speed of light, but the reason I gave this Jimmy Johns 5 stars is because of the workers here. I regularly attend the Relapse Theatre across the street and go to the Jimmy Johns on breaks. The crew here are very friendly and will make your sandwich experience more enjoyable. The last time I came here was on Halloween and I was dressed as a "Mardi Gras Queen" (I made this character up and I was beaded from head to toe with a feather mask on my face). The worker loved my costume and some of the male workers asked if I will give them beads. Me laughing and was willing to freely hand them beads, they lifted up their shirts. I DIED laughing! First I really do like Jimmy Johns sandwich/subs and those salt & vinegar chips are the best I've had, very tangy!! The small issues with this location is the staff is usually dry, the establishment can sometimes be not so clean. Napkins strewn about, straw rappers, some of the inside eatery is unclean to sit.... so maybe dine on the patio or get your food to go... I like their sub selections are a little different from the norm, like you can get sprouts and guacamole spread . They do have about 5 or 6 locations so maybe your experience will be different or better but hopefully not worse read more

Tugh bread and slightly browning lettuce noticed when I opened it up, service was really fast, not a lot of interaction though.

Sloppy, slow, and lots of bad attitudes. The tables were all dirty, and no one made eye contact. I'm used to jimmy johns being super fast and it took about 3 minutes for my sandwich to be made. I was the only one in there. I know that sounds ridiculous, but they're usually done before I finish ringing out at the register. read more

Ordered a Vito for delivery this past weekend via iOS app. The driver was friendly and got there in reasonable time, but when I bit into it, there was no meat or cheese on the sandwich. I called my driver and he went back to the store and returned with the correctly made sandwich and said I had a free side voucher for next time. There was no voucher in my bag so I'm not sure how I will be credited with it, and I expected a littler more compensation for such a blatant oversight since it took twice as long to get my sandwich (total time was about 45 minutes). Overall poor experience slightly salvaged by a friendly driver, however not enough for me to want to order more sandwiches from them. read more

The worst Jimmy John's in Atlanta! The manager is an ass and the employees are very lazy! Every time I go there a delivery driver is parked in or blocking the handicapped parking. I would say, eating at Jimmy Johns wasn't one of the best sandwich shop to eat at. I think the sandwich wasn't all that great to begin with. My bread was hard and there wasn't enough meat in my sandwich to even tasted it. Even though I'm not a fan at eating at Subway, I rather eat there instead or Publix which is better since they give you more meat. Overall I wouldn't got there and give it a second try. read more

Mouth full of bread, very dry. With limited time at work I had to order from Jimmy Johns. This location delivers and they are usually fast. I don't like this location because their sandwiches aren't as good as other ones. I ordered the turkey tom, got some turkey, a good amount of lettuce, I ordered it without tomatoes, and added cucumbers, I had two cucumbers one at each end of the bread. It taste like lettuce and bread, I don't see mayo. Won't order from this location again. read more

I used to live about 1/2 block from this JJ's. It's fine. The service was always competent and friendly enough. It's fast-food subs, not sure what some people expect. It's higher quality than Subway, Quizno's, Blimpies and the like IMO. I personally prefer a Publix sub with Boar's Head, but JJ's is more than adequate for a quick and cheap sub. read more
