Up until this past Sunday, I only thought Jimmy John's existed in Minnesota where my mother & late father are from. My brother & I were hungry & I was excited there was one near his house. The service is quick & friendly & the prices low. I love the Italian with different Italian meats, tomatos, cheese, & vinigre on a fresh roll. We were in & out in a few minutes, granted they were not packed. So, for excellent sandwiches at low prices with fast friendly service, Jimmy John's cannot be beat. Fast service and average sandwiches, but several issues: 1. Very few tables. Get there around noon and you won't find a place to sit. There's only one tiny outdoor table and more often than not it's occupied by a staff member on break. 2. The air conditioning is always running and blowing frigid air on the tables. Wear your winter coat (even in the summer) and bring a paperweight to hold down your napkins and any papers, otherwise they'll blow away. 3. There's a piece of equipment in the place that sounds an ear-splittingly loud buzzer when it's done doing its thing and the staff often don't shut it off for a good ten seconds. read more

I do like JJ's sandwiches, but you're not walking out for less than $10 bucks if you want to accompany that sammich with a drink and chips (...maybe cost so much b/c the place is way over-staffed??). I have eaten there at least 6 times now - service is sketchy and border-line rude; definitely lacking in overall training. Well... We ordered online because everywhere else that offers this option does a great job!! I wish I could say they were really good, but it sucked!!! They suck... Every single thing we asked for never happened!!!! All over the menu it says "add hot peppers... You have to!!" So I put on the order add hot peppers, didn't get them... Then! I said NO CHEESE! And they put cheese on it... My husbands was supposed to come with Dijon Mustard and it didn't... He added onions and Italian vinaigrette and it DIDN'T Come with it... I mean really???? This isn't rocket science people! Also two sandwiches were $17!!!!! (portions were small... Roll sucked... Super small...) Not happy... almost no meat For a fifteen dollar sandwich. I love their bread but I paid 100 percent of the money for 100 percent of a sandwich and they don't put regular mustard on it. In fact I have to apply it myself... with packets. They don't have packets of mustard out for customers so I had to ask for some and they gave me two... FOR A 16 INCH SANDWICH. My second time there, and probably last. Subs are okay in all, place is small and cramped with not much space to sit down. Major gripe is an over 20 minute wait for my sub. Either staff the place correctly or don't brag about how fast you are. read more

First time today. Not impressed. Don't consider myself a picky eater, but one thing I have never liked is Dijon mustard. Call me crazy, but I thought a sandwich shop would offer regular yellow mustard. Nope, not this place, they give it to you in little packets that you can squeeze on yourself. Lettuce was shredded, which I like, but it was wet. I felt like I wasn't supposed to ask for extra this, or none of that, nobody offered me a choice of bread. I am not a huge Sub*** fan, but at least you feel like you can tell them what you want or don't want. The employees were nice enough that they greeted us as soon as we walked in, but then when you have a sandwich, chips, and 10 mustard packets, you would think that a bag would be a given. I had to ask for one myself and for my co-worker. Paid over $9 for that lunch today and eh. Won't go back. read more

Went here last night. My son is a picky eater and likes salami and mayo only. I was charged $7.00 for bread and 3 pieces of salami with a little mayo. When the other worker mentioned it would be cheaper to ring me up for a different sandwich, the cashier said he couldn't do that because of the mayo. Say what? So you charge me for a sandwich where I only get half the meat, no cheese and no produce, and y'all are worried about the mayo? What's with you guys and the mayo? The last time i went there, when you guys first opened, I was given mayo packets for my sons sandwich and was told you guys could not put the mayo on or it was extra. Micro-manage much? I don't know, doesn't seem like the proper way to treat your customers and this is the only restaurant I've ever been to that makes such a big deal about mayo. Weird. Also, you guys should leave the parking spot directly in the front open for your customers and not your little sandwich delivery clown car. Got the message loud and clear that customers don't come first before I even set foot in your business. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! After waiting 25 minutes to see my "order is ready for pickup" I had to call them a ask how much longer. The girl on the phone (you could tell she hates her job) says it's ready to pick up. So this whole time I'm waiting for my order to be finished it's been sitting at the store. So I Walked in to pick up my order when the whole staff stares rudely at me, no hello welcome, nothing. I said I'm picking up my order, the lady pointed to it and looked at me with no words. And the guy just gives me the sandwich. Very rude and unnecessary to act this way towards customers. The sandwiches are okay but could be a lot better, going to different location next time. read more

The menu that was brought to my job said 8". I got a square sandwich that was about 4". For the price of it, I could have made the same exact thing from home. It is a normal sandwich. I will stick with Subway. read more

It's super convenient because they deliver really fast! The food for me is either hit or miss. Not sure why but some days I think the sandwich is really good and other days the quality is lacking. For example, the tomatoes will be mealy and the meat won't taste as good. Again love that they deliver fast and on days when it's good, it's worth it. read more

HORRIBLE experience for our first visit to this Jimmy Johns. Trust me, we love Jimmy Johns. As many Yelp reviewers have stated, we've long been fans. Something it seems is off at this location. I entered at 11:15 Sunday. Out of the 3 employees out front, not a single one greeted or acknowledged me. I was the only patron there.... I should have known at that point this was a bad sign. I asked how they were doing, not a single response. Someone finally, very slowly, walked up the register and just stared at me. I asked if they were ready to take my order. He just grunted. I ordered three sandwiches and asked for hot peppers on the side. He said very bluntly, we can't do sides. I was confused, and asked, can you just add some peppers on the side for me? He said, no, I can just put them on the sandwich and you can take them off. This was a serious WTF moment... No one said anything after that. They made the sandwiches and handed them to me without a single word being spoken. I said thanks, have a great day. Not one of the employees responded. They all seemed incredibly hungover (that's my guess). The sandwiches themselves were a huge disappointment too. They had hardly any meat! Even my "double" meat sandwich had ONE slice of each meat. I'll be sharing this feedback with management because I care about the brand and want this location to succeed. read more

This is by far the worst Jimmy John's I've come across. We ordered our sandwiches online n they took a lot longer then most of the other Jimmy Johns to deliver. My fiancées sandwich was made correctly but mine only had the meat n nothing else, also I asked for it to be cut in half n it wasn't. I called to tell em I wasn't happy with my sandwich n the best they could do was give me a free sandwich card. Since I'm sitting in a truck terminal n can't go to their store to pick it up, it's just SOL for me. The reason there wasn't anything on my sandwich is because they were out of onions, lettuce, tomatoes.. Which is odd since my fiancé got lettuce on his. The delivery girl in the white Prius didn't mention once that there was nothing on one of the sandwiches, nor did they call to give me the option of keeping my order or not. Guess getting the tip for delivering is more important than customer service read more

Fun little tidbits hanging on the walls and even funny tiles in the restroom. Tried Jimmy John's for the first time ever after hearing advertisement for $1 sandwiches. Ordered ham, roast beef, Vito, and BLT. Almost no meat on any of the sandwiches. Example - the 8" BLT had four strips of bacon. The bread was kinda hard like it was a "day old." Regular price for the sandwiches were $6.19. They were worth closer to $3.50. I can't even rate this place with a star! My experience was the worst insult to my taste buds ever. The very thin two (2) slices of turkey meat on a foot long roll were rancid! Only mayonnaise as a condiment, a pinch of lettuce, a couple of thinly sliced tomatoes. I requested the freebies and received two (2) small pieces of some kind of peppers and a very small limp slice of yellow onion. Who puts yellow onion a sandwich? What a terrible place for a family! Came in with my two kids and a bigger woman with somewhat thick glasses was yelling swear words at a co worker, what a great greeting! Really nice employees and good sandwich (The Vito). I liked the bread as it wasn't too thick. There was plenty of meat and the produce was fresh. The tomatoes were ripe! That rarely happens at other sandwich shops. We will be back to try their other sandwiches. read more

First time in a Jimmy John's. Most likely the last time. There's something wrong when the lettuce and tomato out number the protein. Literally one slice of meat and it's sliced wafer thin and virtually tasteless. They should be sued for false advertising with their claim of "World's Greatest Gourmet Sandwiches".
