The freshness of the bread is what makes this sandwich top notch in my book. I still dislike the fact that they do not have honey mustard but oooo well. Continued decrease in the quality and accuracy of orders. This is particularly frustrating when they now charge a delivery fee and have a $5 minimum. The minimum is high enough that you can just get a "slim" sandwich. Don't bother asking for a mayo packet. They'll never bring it. read more

Jimmy John's is a chain. So let's keep that in mind when reviewing. This isn't a family-owned deli or a gastro pub. It's a sandwich franchise. That said, it's the best darn sandwich franchise in our area. It blows the doors off Subway. And remember, Publix subs are awesome but they don't deliver. The "Woohoo!" rating is actually for Caitlin, who works at the Franklin Street JJ location. She told us that yes, that location did deliver to our place of work. She took our order, repeated it, gave us our total, and helped us pay over the phone with a credit card. Trouble was, technically that JJ location DIDN'T deliver to our area. But Caitlin took the initiative and followed through with the JJ promise of freaky-fast delivery. She delivered the food herself. So, thank you Jimmy John's for having awesome food and awesome people. And thank you Caitlin for going above and beyond. You made our "work-through-lunch-day" bearable. read more

Very odd experience moments ago at this location. Walked in at noon expecting it to be busy, but not expecting 13 people... BEHIND the counter! Guess it was training day. Asked for a number 2 easy mayo plus cukes and onions. The preparer slopped a lump of mayonnaise the size of a scoop of ice-cream onto the bread. The music was so loud in the place that I'm sure the guy at the till never heard my request. When I began to protest, the trainer barked at me that that was their 'easy mayo' serving size. Before I could protest again, the guy who took my order repeated it back to me- and it wasn't even close. Again, music way too loud, 13 people buzzing around the tiny kitchen. Not sure how many codes that breaks. I was in a hurry to get to work, so I just asked for my money back. The trainer defiantly said "fine," and then just kept barking at me and couldn't seem to figure out what she owed me because she didn't know what my order was. I keep trying to give this place business due to its close proximity to my office. Today they took 40 minutes to deliver my lunch, which is two blocks away. Complete disregard for safety. Absolute malice for customers. When you approach this establishment you get a free order of attitude and disrespect and on top of it they just don't care. This is the second time I have been at the train depot waiting on a late train departure and ordered lunch from this JJ location. Ordering was easy and pleasant. The order was delivered inside the depot and the delivery person had to call to find me. The delivery was so fast I wasn't even looking for it so soon. Decided to cash in the credit and ordered again today and it took an hour to get my sandwich. Hi, just wanted to post an experience...I put in an online order, and the delivery was not "Freaky Fast." It was "Freaky Slow," clocking in at right around 30 minutes, and our office is just down the street from this particular Jimmy John's in Downtown Tampa. To add insult to injury, the bag looked like it had been smashed, and the sandwich was subpar, but the worst insult, it wasn't made as I had ordered it with none of the "extras." I order from JJ's a lot, and this was my most disappointing experience. Wonder what is going on at this location. Think I will take my $$ elsewhere from here on out. read more

Gourmet??? Hardly. While the food was fast and the crew friendly, gourmet (their claim) this was not. The turkey was pressed, of the Oscar Mayer variety, and the bacon had as much flavor as cardboard. If it wasn't for the overindulgence of mayonnaise, this sub would have no flavor at all. read more
