Was in the mood for a sub and I never had Jimmy Johns before so I figured I'll give it a shot. I went in for lunch and there wasn't anyone there. I placed my order and the food was quickly delivered to me. I ordered the Italian sub but asked if they could switch the ham for turkey. They were able to do it but they charged me extra for the swap which I thought was weird. I didn't ask to add additional ingredients but instead to substitute an item but was still charged extra. The other issue was the tables were dirty. I came for an early lunch right when they opened up. So these tables were dirty from the day before and it hasn't been cleaned. As for the sandwich, it is actually pretty decent. The bread was nice and soft and the ingredients did seem fresh. It was a bit light with the meat but nothing terrible. I may go back to another Jimmy John's but not sure if I would to this location again because of the cleanliness and the fact they charged me for a substitute. read more

Normally this location is fine and the staff is usually also friendly as well. Yesterday I just had a bad experience with the BLT I ordered, it was cold, chewy, slimy mush. I was so frustrated because I was already on the road an hour away before I realized it. I was also starving and unfortunately the sandwich was inedible at that point. If you yourself wouldn't eat the sandwich then maybe don't serve it to others. read more

Freaky fast! quick service and very nice on the phone

Horrible service, my card was charged I saw the screen say approved the guy tells me it didn't go threw I show him my bank account showing it went threw , next thing you know there's 3 guys standing around telling me the machine doesn't work/has been acting up. I've never left a Yelp review anywhere, but here it goes. This is literally the 3rd time in a row getting my sandwich incorrect. When the guy at the register asks what you wanted 3 times in a row after seemingly putting your info in for a minute or 2, I'd highly recommend making him repeat the order back to you. Food is good otherwise, but this is quite irritating as I have to rip apart half my sandwich every time I get home. read more

This location is awesome! Everyone is polite and friendly, the restaurant is always clean & the food is fresh. I normally do carry out but today I was in a bind; I found out last-minute that I would only get a 15 minute break. I called Jimmy Johns at 11:10am and asked if they could deliver my order at 11:30am when my break starts. I was assured that it wouldn't be a problem and, lo and behold, the driver arrived on time and was very nice! I'm so impressed with these guys, I highly recommend this location to everyone I know! read more

Just called for delivery. Have lived here and ordered from this location for five years and was just told they don't deliver to this location anymore per "the manager." I guess 2.1 miles is just too far for Jimmy Johns. Wow. When we questioned what happened and why after five years of orders it changed, the employee was extremely rude. We said this made us not want to eat with them anymore and he said "good luck with that" and THEN HUNG UP ON US. Can't believe this kind of customer interaction still exists. Horrible service - would have given zero stars if I could. Ordered a meal a 12:12 pm, they delivered the order a 1:00 pm at which time was already in a meeting for the next two hours - which means the sandwich sat out for nearly 3 hours. When I contacted the Yorkville Illinois location that I ordered it from, they gave nothing but excuses and would only allow a "store credit" and no refund. I was a very loyal customer for delivery. I moved less than 1/2 a mile away from my other house and now they no longer deliver! No longer a happy customer. I can walk from my old house to my new house in less than ten mins. :/ Thats walking, so thats less driving. Where to begin? 40 minutes for first delivery. Wrong school eventhough I repeated it 3x. Second deliver to wrong school again, this time i said it 4 or 5x. I was getting angry calls from 2 schools now. Third time finally delivered. By now school was irritated beyond belief. Daughter sat and sat waiting. She overheard the staff saying no more student food deliveries to schools, they were so annoyed. During the day I spoke to the assistant manager Danny who first blamed traffic. Second time, miscommunication. He sounded utterly confused and dumbfounded. I got a fair amount of silence. Later in the day I called general manager Steve. Told him what had happened and how school was going to handle it. I wasn't exactly pleasant, I'll give him that. His first responce after my story was "hold on". Huh?? I was stumped. He said " I need to hear it from Danny". Are you serious? I said I have nothing else to say. So he said well bye then. What??! Odd response for a GM when a customer calls. I fielded at least 7 calls from the school and he said Bye then. Started polite and ended very abruptly. They have a sign in their store that says " life is like a statue. Worst customer service today I had from Jimmy Johns. Messed my order up a month ago and the manager put a credit on my phone number cause they screwed up my order. Manager says to me it will be there forever until i place an order again and mention it. So its a month now and this covid19 is not to be played with and i mention this credit plus i was ordering alot more then a 3 dollar credit but they failed to honor it plus i order alot from here not just for me. But the way the regional manager was speaking to me and talking right over me until i told him hey please do not talk over me please i was not finished of telling you what happened that day and etc. But he sounded like a robot and i said i was not making a big thing about this but since he had a slight discomfort slur from his voice and i had to say please train your managers and your employees better cause now you lost a customer cause you wouldn't want to fix the issue or even look up the purchase receipt of the manager of that day and etc.. This place has also forged my delivery receipt and the person that delivered my sandwiches before added himself a nice tip when i never wrote a tip for that amount. Beware of this Jimmy Johns when they mess up they cant own up to it to fix it nor treat you with respect as a customer over the phone. I have have them many chances to improve but they failed the community and this place needs to be done with and hey tired of the screw ups and etc.. Watch out for ther drivers that delivery to your door cause they drive fast with music pounding and not paying attention when a customer was screaming and waving his hands cause they gave the wrong order.
