Having the name "Jim's Burgers" brings back some good memories when it comes to burger joints. Most "Jim's Burgers" that I've had have been pretty good, but not this one. They have a carne asada quesadilla on the menu for 10 bucks, by itself. Not as a plate with rice and beans, 10 bucks just for the quesadilla. Yeah, no thanks. We ordered 2 cheeseburger specials and 1 plate of chili cheese fries. My burger was ok but I was not a fan of the fries or side of thousand island. In this case I will simply say that it wasn't my cup of tea in terms of flavor. My daughter said her chili cheese fries were ok and she likes just about everything. My biggest problem was the wait time for my food. People who ordered behind me were getting their food 1st. I don't think ill visit this Jim's again. read more

Stopped by for the first time yesterday and I must say that Jim's Burgers is really good! I've wanted to come by here before, but it would look so packed & this time around it worked out just fine for my man & I. He had been craving breakfast from here so I placed our orders over the phone & was told to pick it up in 15 minutes. I ordered the breakfast special #2 which comes with pancakes, eggs, & your choice of sausage or bacon (I chose the bacon) & my man ordered special #5 that comes with toast, hash browns, eggs, & choice of sausage or bacon (he chose sausage) Overall a very good breakfast for a very decent price. We both got so full & let me just say that I fell in love with Jim's bacon. It tasted so good, just the way I like it. Not burnt to a crisp, not undercooked it was just right. It had a crisp & chewy meaty texture. I LOVED IT! & the sausage was great. The pancakes were good as well, but I'd come back for an order of bacon lol it was literally that good. Upon arrival this location was very clean (as expected due to Covid-19) The staff was so friendly when I placed the order over the phone & in person much nicer. I liked this experience & look forward on trying their well known burgers. My mans family will drive out from Corona just to get their burgers. read more

My family grew up not too far from Jim's and it's always been one of our go-to places for a quick and reasonably priced bite to eat. It's got a pretty standard menu for one of the "Greek burger joints" , with all sorts and sizes of burgers, a selection of breakfast entrees, some Mexican food, hot sandwiches including a really good pastrami, and more. The best value is one of the burger combo, with your choice of several burgers, fries, and a soft drink. The burgers are huge, and for our family, one order of fries gave us more than all of us could finish. If you can't eat a lot or you need to skimp a little, the junior burger is still bigger than a standard burger at any of the chains. Not a fan of burgers or want to eat healthier? Order the chicken breast salad, which gets you a grilled chicken breast, lots of lettuce and veggies, and toast; Mom loves it and it's enough for her to have two meals. About the only thing on the menu we've been disappointed in is the desserts. They offer chocolate chip cookies and brownies that look wonderful, but the couple of times we've bought them, you could tell they'd been sitting around for a while. Ask the folks at the counter how long ago they were prepared before you buy. Most folks who order from Jim's take their orders to go, but it does have a small dining area if you don't want to wait. Like most independent burger joints, the decor is heavy on dark wood paneling and the walls are full of pictures from high school events the place sponsored over the years; the place is clean and comfortable. This our first time at Jim's Burger in Bell we pass though many times we were very curious about the restaurant and the food. We decided to Jim's Burgers and try out the food. When we arrive at the restaurant it was dinner time full of people getting their dinner for the night. They have so many good deals which to choose from. My wife decided to the chicken salad and I order the chicken sandwich combo. They call our number and then I pick our meal it looks so good. My chicken sandwich was big especially the grill chicken look so good and tasty I took a bite it was so good but I through it need more flavors all together,the fries were average but overall I enjoy the sandwich. My wife enjoy her salad but to get another dressing it's. 50 she didn't have any problems. Overall my wife and I enjoy the food at Jim's burgers we will come back again soon. read more

Ordered the chicken dinner and it was huge! Came with a salad, bun, 4 pieces of fried chicken on a bed of fries topped with onion rings. I only ate one piece of chicken the side salad one onion ring and was full. The chicken needed a little seasoning but besides that it was good a great amount of food for a great price read more

This place used to be our families go to for 28+ years. I don't know if it's under new ownership/management, but this place has incredibly gone down hill. The food quality is bad, the pink sauce taste like old mayo, and it's been tasting like that for months. At first I thought it was new employees getting the recipe wrong, but sadly that isn't the case. You always have to check your bags to make sure they didn't forget or get something wrong. Overall very disappointing and saddening that it has become this bad. You know it's bad when all your friends and other family members have mentioned the same thing. Although the food is really good. This will be the last time you steal my money. Ninety percent of the time there is always something missing from extra thousand island dressing that cost .50 each to me getting a single patty burger instead of a double burger not just once but countless of times. The food is incredibly delicious and the staff is very friendly. I was there last week in the afternoon. The cashiers were very friendly, always attentive to what we needed. They brought the food to the table. They served me better than in other restaurants I was in. This place use to be so good before. I ordered a chicken salad today first off they put way to much lettuce for the amount of chicken. Seems like they put the whole head of lettuce for a small piece of chicken. Then the tomatoes where old and so where the cucumbers. If your customers are paying like 13 bucks for a salad the least you can do is give them fresh vegetables. Also put cheese on your salads instead of having the customer ask for and pay extra for it. read more

Old school since 1958. I ordered the Jim's Burger combo, upgraded to chili cheese fries with onions, and a coke. I should've asked to have the burger cut in half because after looking at what I was about to indulge it was too much food. I finished the burger but there was no way to finish the fries, I brought the rest to work to share with my coworker. My conclusion, the burger was okay it wasn't great, the chili cheese fries were my favorite. This combo could easily be shared by two people and save a life at the same time LOL. read more

I came here on a dare. Let me say that I am glad I didn't back down!! I sauntered in here for breakfast and was promptly greeted by the staff and offered coffee. I opted for the chilaquiles rojos with queso cotija on a recommendation. Yum!! See, here's the thing, chilaquiles are a delicate dish to prepare. It is so easy to ruin them and make them soggy, but this place makes them perfectly. No sogginess, enough cheese, and enough hot sauce to enjoy them. The clientele is definitely well established, as I saw many greet each other and the staff by name and many were introduced to me as well. This restaurant is not what it use to be before I'm not sure why maybe they have new staff . It's ridiculous this is the Second time they mess up my order. The first time I was like "ok it happens" I let it go and decided to give it another shot last week. I'm not trying to be a Karen but let me just clarify that I placed an order for my family and I , I was very excited for them to try the place I had been hyping up for so long. Turn out They gave us the WRONG drinks. Instead of Orange bangs I got Diet cokes lol really? my salad was made with Old Lettuce brown and soggy , fries were soggy and cold when I clearly asked for crispy well done fries. Our Onion rings were burned and cooked in dirty oil you can just tell when something was cooked in dirty oil from a previous plate. Also My husband asked for a Bacon cheese burger and it had NO Bacon on it. I told him open the burger maybe it's hidden and in between the lettuce and meat there was A big Curly hair !!! DISGUSTING!!!! I could not even finish my food anymore. We threw everything away and our appetite was completely gone!!! So that's it !!! I'm done with this restaurant!! Don't waste your money.
