We ordered late at night at delivery was fast. Everything was amazing. The sauces were great and so was the quality. We ordered the The Three Roll Special. We will be ordering again soon. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered off uber eats and this place was amazing. The portions were big and tasted great. Highly recommend!

I was wary because of the reviews but this place was delicious! Kind and quick service and a sweet vibe in the restaurant. I will be coming back

    Sashimi deluxe combination

If you're looking for a reasonably priced tasty Japanese meal, this is a solid spot. We got four special rolls, all of which were fun and pretty well balanced, two California rolls, and a sashimi deluxe combo. The sashimi was fresh, sliced thickly with a melt in your mouth texture. They also carry many Japanese beers and sake, including a hot sake that is not on the menu but is a great bang for your buck.

Teriyaki Chicken and General Tso Chicken combo

We ordered through UberEats and this was our first experience with JOA, so I can't really speak to ambiance or service, but the order was prepared promptly for pickup and delivery by Uber. We ordered Veggie Fried Rice, a bogo deal for Teriyaki Chicken and General Tso's Chicken, an extra side of white rice, and an order of Egg Rolls (not pictured). The fried rice had an alright/average taste and texture, but there was very low veggie/egg to rice ratio; the general chicken was dry with almost no sauce; the teriyaki chicken was a bit over cooked; the egg rolls were limp/ undercooked, and, as I found after a bite, are not vegetarian and do contain a white meat. I don't think we'll try this place again (especially through a delivery service).

Beware, the steamed veggies that are supposed to come on the teriyaki bowl is just a few pieces of stringy old cabbage.

Quaint Little Japanese place with very nice waitstaff helped me on my voyage tonight. Ordered a Tempura Shrimp roll along with beef short rib special. Note the short rib special and was accompanied by soup , salad & rice... Ribs were done perfect tasting and came off the bone with minimal resistance... Look at the video and you'll see what an amazing meal I just had and should be jealous. Anyways I defiantly book marked this joint for another Japanese experience.. Come and GET SOME !

If you're going before a game get there early as this place fills up quick! Servers are nice but could be a bit more attentive. Food is definitely worth the wait. We had quite the variety. All of the sushi rolls are good. I always order the rainbow roll wherever I go, this one is decent but missing something. The sushi in general like I said was good, but also did not stand out to me. The chicken karange was like crispy pillows of chicken, did not need any sort of sauce in my opinion, but to each their own. The kalbi ribs were also cooked perfectly and were downright mouth watering. We also started off with the edamame which was salted well, most places just have it on the top and miss the mark throughout the rest of the dish. We will definitely be back as this has made our rotation before going to Tips games

Botan Ramen n' Bar was a very nice Ramen experience for this novice in Ramen…read more In walking in, you're greeted by a stunning cherry blossom tree and flowers filling the interior. Adding to the outdoor ambiance inside, we were seated in a 'shaded porch' area, which still had plenty of room (such partitioning could reduce interior space). We were promptly greeted by the staff, who interestingly that day were not of Asian descent as typically found in Far East themed restaurants: more like your average Seattleite college-age server. I like that they bucked the stereotypes. As a ramen newbie, I was overwhelmed by the expert-level menu, the main reason I didn't give 5 stars. The menu starts with alcohol, leading me to look around for the food menu. There it is, tucked after several pages of booze and virgin drinks. The food section starts with the 'Botan Deluxe' (don't recall the actual name used) and lists the components using words that I as a newbie have either never seen before or maybe have seen but not understood, so my anxiety level spiked because I don't like being shamed into just ordering without understanding. Fortunately the waitress worked through this with me after my telling her my issue. The following page had a 'build your own ramen' blocked off into sections: noodles, broth, extras. With the extras, you get like 3 or 4 included (green onions, egg. garlic-something, seaweed, etc.) and more cost $1 extra (not printed on menu). I did the udon noodles, bone broth (insert fancy name but not with the fancy-name soy sauce added), and one extra ingredient over the included number. When asked 'tell me more about the green noodle?', the relatively new employee was unable to immediately describe, but went back and learned it was spinach blended. We also ordered a (fancy name) cucumber salad starter: yummy, sizable and recommended. The orders arrived promptly, with just a small break after the starter; the egg I ordered was replaced by bean sprouts: the served quickly and gracefully delivered the missing egg. Each ordered ingredient was placed as an individual island: it's up to the customer to blend or not (I enjoyed not mixing so to experience each flavor). The udon noodle was exactly as I had imagined and desired. My wife said she enjoyed her selection as well, although didn't pick out any unique flavor to the green noodle. The bill was right-priced if not even on the lower side for the neighborhood. We'll be back again to try more of the offerings now that we have a little bit of familiarity with the exotic descriptions.

Today we had a regular chicken teriyaki, a spicy chicken teriyaki, and the broccoli beef. The chicken teriyaki is great, but the spicy chicken teriyaki is on another level. It's hot enough to let you know it's hot, but it isn't so hot that you're leaving in tears. The broccoli beef was delicious too- cooked perfectly. Everything is cooked to order, served piping hot, and tastes FRESH. The gal that takes your order is very respectful and polite. The dining room was spotless, and tables were cleared as soon as they emptied. Having spent nearly 50 years in the Americanized teriyaki capital of the US, I've had my fair share of teriyaki, and this is the best spot hands down. You will not be disappointed.

We first started with some truly amazing Miso Soup. The flavors were so rich and deep -- not like a bland afterthought like many others I've experienced in other teriyaki restaurants. But what I actually ordered was the Bento Box with teriyaki chicken chicken. The Bento was amazing, with the highlight being the amazing Tempura, which was the perfect texture and Chef's Kiss delish. The chicken was sa durned tender, which is how I love it!! But, I want to talk about their ice tea -- I don't know what they do to it, but it was fantastic, with a Jazminey flavor. I know it's really a small thing, but it didn't taste like it came out of a soda machine. I so appreciate the fine details with this little place, and I will DEFINITELY be returning
