I've only ordered takeout so I can't speak for the dining-in experience. I'm generally pleased with the food I get from here. I haven't specifically noticed the "microwave meal" issue that many others have mentioned in their reviews, but I'll be on the lookout for it in the future. My biggest issue are the sushi rolls. They seem like decent quality and they have a good selection of rolls, but the size of them doesn't make any sense. Typically, sushi rolls come with 8 pieces that are roughly bite size (or maybe a little larger than bite size). Joa offers 5 pieces of very large sushi. The result is that you eat them in two bites but the second bite is falling apart and is very frustrating and difficult to enjoy. I think it would serve them well to make the sushi rolls a bit smaller but longer. I don't mind a large roll, but as soon as it's too big to eat a piece in one bite then you've gone too far. I had originally put 3 stars but I downgraded it to 2 because the spider roll I got tonight was not good. The softshell crab felt like chewing on prawn tails and smelled a bit too much like ocean. Really disappointing way to waste $15. read more

Terrible service!!! I placed an order at 1:50pm and didn't get my food for over an hour but then I decided to leave. They falsely said they gave me my food already even though I was at the Starbucks nearby waiting. They had to check the cameras to make sure I didn't pick it up and I had to wait so long for a manager to come. They barely updated me on the status of my order. They couldn't offer me a refund so I was forced to have to wait for it no matter how long it took. Waste of time, waste of money. I'd give this place less than one star if I could as the service was ridiculous. read more

I've ordered UberEats from here multiple times and it has always been good. They prepare the food quick and it's always tasty. One time I came in for pickup and the lady who gave me my food was super kind. Nice people. The restaurant itself was small from what I remembered, but it would be a cool summer spot for teriyaki. definitely recommend. I got the teriyaki chicken, honey garlic tofu, and Seahawks roll. Amazing teriyaki! Stopped here on Saturday and I ordered the spicy chicken breast teriyaki combo with an eggroll, brown rice, and steamed veggies. Fantastic flavor and everything was super fresh! Nothing too greasy or salty! The presentation of the food was also done with care. I did stop in here a couple weeks ago but I just ordered a pineapple milk tea smoothie and they let you pick your sugar level which is AWESOME since I am on a diet. My first visit here, so I ordered a few things to try for carry-out. The food was ready at the scheduled time, so that was nice. I got the combo of chicken teriyaki and General Tso's chicken, and added the "spicy" option. My partner ordered the rib-eye beef and pork combo, and I also got an order of chicken katsu--first time trying chicken katsu. All of the teriyaki (spicy chicken, beef, pork) was good, and I'll definitely order that again. The chicken katsu was interesting, I don't think the katsu sauce is really for me, but the dish itself seemed of fine quality. The General Tso's chicken isn't the WORST General Tso's chicken I've ever had, but it's in the bottom 5 for sure. Didn't really hit any of the flavor notes I typically expect from General Tso's chicken (that mix of sweet and spicy)--also the first time I've encountered it being served with peas. read more

???? Not sure what everybody is talking about. First of all, the food looks almost nothing like the pictures. I got the chicken curry katsu and general tso chicken through Uber eats. I opened my chicken curry katsu and was immediately disappointed. There wasn't any side salad or even pickled vegetables like all chicken curry katsu comes with. The rice was also soggy and tasted stale. The curry also had no pork in it like it's supposed to. The curry easily separated and there were some loose solids in there. Most likely from instant curry packet. The chicken itself was cooked nicely and the breading was crisp; however, the chicken needed more salt before they cooked it. The general tso chicken was a bit soggy and didn't have enough sauce. Also, the fried rice was just weird (see pic). Their marketing seems on point but who cares if the food isn't quality? First time trying this place. Only came here because it was convenient and on my way home. Ordered combo pork and chicken katsu. "I can't believe I ate the whole thing" ... I was starving as I did not eat much for lunch. Pros: Teriyaki sauce. Good flavor and not pasty like some other teriyaki places. Good portion of pork. When paying the cashier stated they were giving a free extra gyoza? Cons: Pork sliced too thick and not very tender. Chicken Katsu was dark brown, burnt, dry and small portion. It didn't take long for the order so I wondered if it was leftover that was refried. Need to do away with limp cabbage side. I will not return. Will detour and go back to Teriyaki and Burger Stop. This place has got it going on. Their marketing is very impressive. Their website is fresh and user friendly. I like that they feature their whole menu with pricing. It was very easy to call and put an order to-go for pick up. When I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised with big screens featuring their menu. It made it very easy to read and order if you were to order there. I'm really surprised they stay open pretty late which is awesome for those nights when you don't realize it's time for dinner, and/or when you can't decide on what you want to eat so you default to teriyaki. I'm happy there's a teriyaki shop here and that they offer curry and takoyaki balls. Lot of teriyaki shops don't offer curry so that makes ordering more fun! I also thought it was pricy at first but when I saw the proportions, I was pleasantly surprised. The food was great and you can tell the ingredients are good quality. I should've looked on Yelp first! DoorDash has 7,000 reviews, thought it would be great place since so many people eat there. I got the combo yakisoba. The noodles tasted burnt, the only flavor you get is too much RAW garlic, and where's the meat? The chicken and beef was diced up so small you couldn't tell there was meat in it! When you get a piece of chicken it tastes old, also burnt and is hard. Veggies - Forget about it! You get a few small thin slices of carrots and if you look hard enough some cabbage. OH, let's not forget the amount of GREASE that's drowning in the dish and saturating the plate. NO WAY I could eat this mess! Honestly, you're better off eating a package a of Ramen! This place used to be pretty great (would order from it once a week), but must have changed ownership, because the food is AWFUL now. The Spicy Chicken Teriyaki was reheated frozen chewy meat with what appeared to be Trader Joe's General Tso's sauce or the like dribbled over it, with a measly slop of wilted cabbage on the side. The Honey Garlic Chicken was equally disgusting; clearly another selection from the frozen section. And the prices have increased! I was not prepared for what appeared to be a pre-packaged "meal" with dried rice and wilted salad-on-rice and over-spiced chicken. On rice. A cello top glued to a segmented tray told me this was built in a kitchen not on premises, and the side of gyoza, over-fried so crunchy, pushed the cost to $21 which I used to get for about $13. First time visiting this teriyaki store that had a "Grand Opening" banner hung outside their window. I ordered chicken and gyoza - menu board started that so items come with jasmine rice and steamed veggies. The order came to $14+ and I added a $3 tip, so, $17+. The order was produced quickly and to my surprise it was packaged in a compartmented plastic tray with cellophane that had be heart bonded to the edges of the tray. I actually like that feature because I knew it would not leak in my car on my way back to the office. When I pealed the cellophane back I was greeted by the delicious aroma carried on the warm steam that rose from the food. I took a bite of the chicken. A familiar teriyaki flavor without being too salty. The gyoza were crispy and flavorful. The portion of jasmine rice, on one of the small compartments, seemed mighty small compared to other stores and failed my expectations. The other small compartment that held the steamed veggies, to my dismay, held literally just a tablespoon of veggies - exactly three thin slices of carrot, a few tiny bits of cabbage, a sprinkling of finely shredded carrots - and this concealed a scoop of jasmine rice. As I consumed the chicken I discovered that another scoop of rice was concealed under the chicken, making it appear to be a larger serving of checked than it was. While it was tasty, and I did get enough rice to satisfy my craving, I don't believe the meal was a good value for the amount of meat included. It seemed to me that they were filling their trays with mostly rice to reduce the amount of meat - and vegetables! - that they served. read more

Pretty newish, you can tell that they want to make a good impression, and it shows.
