This bar is a local place very low-key but I was there on a Sunday afternoon just for a couple drinks, but the menu looked fabulous and Gina the bartender was super sweet. I enjoyed myself. They also had Tito's and lemonade that was frozen and frozen espresso martinis which looked really good.

Good food (burger and fries and chicken Caesar salad wrap) and great live music! I'm biased because my husband played guitar with a band there called Massive Prophet but they are very fun and it's a low key, nice scene.

Staying at the Courtyard Marriott which is about 3 miles from Joe Sent me on Main Street. Decided to try something along the lines of bar/pub food and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food at Joe Sent Me. Ordered pickled chicken fingers with a honey mustard sauce and the Cast Away burger with bacon, cheese and thousand island dressing. The chicken fingers were moist and tasty and included a pickle. The Cast Away burger was huge and included a pickle and fries, and definitely better than any 5 guys and rivals burger bars. There is seating on one side of the restaurant and a bar on the other side. This is not the place for healthy food but definitely 5 stars for comfort food.

Pretty good selection for the menu. We enjoyed the different drink offerings. The burger was good. Nice place to get solid bar food!

Wrong hours sent us all the way over here to be told they were no longer serving food. Not a great looking area of town.

The perfectly preserved railcar diner (even down to the original refrigerator and clock on the wall) is only one of a few dozen still operating as a diner out of the hundreds that built by the Worcester Lunch Car Co. in the 1940s and 1950s. Maria Kitidis Mackay and her father George bought the diner in January 2020 and one or both of them are usually working the griddle daily.. as they were when I recently visited. I recently stopped in for breakfast two days in a row while visiting friends in Concord and the food was excellent both times. On my first visit, I had the two-egg platter ($8) with a unique Greek loukaniko sausage (+$7). The next day, I had the same platter with traditional pork sausage links (+$3). Both platters came with home fries and toast, and everything was incredibly fresh, hot, and really tasty. My dining companion also thoroughly enjoyed her meals and the classic diner ambiance. She tried the Florentine benedict ($14), which came topped with perfectly sautéed spinach and tomato, and on the next visit went with the spinach and feta omelet ($13). Our servers stopped by a few times to ensure everything was good. The only minor disappointment we experienced was that our servers didn't offer to refill our coffee, but otherwise, it was a fantastic visit. Maybe I should have asked? It is a terrific experience all around. Highly recommend checking this place out if you want great food, unique history, and a classic diner atmosphere! Even taking away a 1/2 star for our coffee snafu, it's still a solid 4.5 stars for the overall experience -- rounded up to 5 stars. PRO TIP: Bring cash. Wilson's does not accept credit cards.

Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I ordered an Old-Fashioned and my companion a glass of chardonnay, both of which came promptly and were enjoyable. After some inquiries I settled on the self-advertised fall-off-the-bone baby back ribs. My companion asked about a favorite no longer on the menu, a salad with grilled chicken, and after checking with the kitchen our server was happy to report it could be ordered. My companion asked for dressing on the side and unfortunatel the salad came out dressed. Our server was happy to return it to the kitchen and it came out after not too much time had elapsed, the way she'd ordered it. I'm always skeptical that ribs will be fall-off-the-bone but these were close. Unfortunately, they seemed a little off; I still can't decide if they were on the dry side, lacking in flavor, or both. But the meat did come off the bone easily, so there was that. They came with french fries which were good, The location is handy and there is on-site parking. The atmosphere was energetic and it must be a popular after-work place because there were several large (10+) tables occupied. Still, not sure I would go back soon when there are other comparable places in the area.

It had a…read more3.4-star rating, but some of the reviews were positive and the location was convenient, so I decided to give it a try. We were asked whether we preferred a table or a booth, which I always appreciate, and we chose the latter. My first impression was that the open dining room was very loud. The noise was amplified by a party of about 10 people to our left and the ambient bar and TV noise to our right. Our friendly waiter arrived immediately, as did water and menus. Service started off nicely and remained good throughout our lunch. I wish I could say the same for the food. I was considering the Salmon Poke Bowl, but our waiter explained that the salmon wasn't served sushi-style, so we both ordered the Tuna Poke Bowl ($23.95). The bowls arrived in about 15 minutes, with the wasabi dressing on the side as requested, although technically the cup was placed inside the bowl. The portion was substantial and included seaweed salad, some avocado and a generous amount of grain. Unfortunately, the tuna had a noticeably fishy taste and an unappealing texture. Very disappointing. I left much of it untouched, along with quite a few of the other ingredients. When our waiter asked whether I wanted to take the remainder home, my answer was definitely no. Would I return? Probably not. I'd be more inclined to try some of the other restaurants in the area in search of better-executed cuisine.
