    Cheese slice

No notes. Absolutely perfect. Best plain slice in New York. Not sure what else I can say, but Yelp requires me to add 85 more characters haha

New York City, home of the pizza slice! :) Seriously i had a craving for a good slice of pizza and i stumbled upon Joes Pizza on the map. When i arrived there was a line, so i knew the pizza was good and fresh. A small pizzeria with some standing tables, usual toppings shakers, even security probably for the crowds. Slices are huge! I chose pepperoni and cheese slice. But there's so many others. Crunchy soft crust, just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The pepperonis were big and tasty. I've already visited twice! Don't get discouraged with the line to order, it goes very fast! Also don't forget CASH USD they do not accept cards. Enjoy ! :)

6/10 White w/ Spinach, Supreme, Fresh Mozz Slices - Uh I don't really get the hype around this. It was honestly hella mid tbh. The bread was just okay, and where was the sauce on this thing because it was basically non existent. Seriously all hype and tourest trap!!! Cost - $6.00 - $7.00.

First time trying this place & it was one of the experiences you wont want to repeat at again. Worst customer service, really rude, treated me and my friends as shit. I get it, you guys are probably tired working there because it's aways busy but should treat anyone like. I work in a restaurant too and I have never been able to speak to someone the way they did to us. Disappointed

    Sicilian Square and Fresh Mozzarella

Ordered the fresh mozzarella and Sicilian. Both sauces had a fresh tomato taste but I think could be sweeter, it was very mild. The Sicilian was a crispy square and the fresh mozzarella was a solid slice. Overall good slices and texture but the sauce could be improved

Believe the hype--this is the best New York-style pizza in New York City! I went to this location because it was closer to my brother, whom I was visiting. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to visit the original Times Square location. I've heard it's an absolute madhouse. So if you want to try the famous Joe's Pizza, head over to the low-key Brooklyn location. You'll get the same amazing pizza without the Times Square crowds and photo-op chaos.

What makes this pizza so good as the sauce. It's got a special thing and the cheese is not very greasy. It's a crisp slice and you're always happy. Not most inexpensive, but not the most expensive slice in the city.

Every New Yorker has a pizza opinion, and today I went straight to one of the legends. Joe's Pizza in Greenwich Village has been serving up authentic NYC slices since 1975, and after one bite of their original plain slice, I understood why tourists and locals keep lining up. The plain slice was everything a New York slice should be--simple, crispy, cheesy, and absolutely perfect. Then my sons convinced me to step outside my comfort zone and order a mushroom and sausage slice. Not gonna lie, I was skeptical. One bite later, I was wondering where this combo has been my entire life. Outstanding. Even the ambiance is everything you want in a pozza shop. Lesson learned: Sometimes your kids actually know what they're talking about... but don't tell them I said that. #JoesPizza #NYCPizza #GreenwichVillage

While joes is iconic I will say it is a good slice but nothing stand outish. To me it's a good slice to grab after a long day of work and turning off your brain and just enjoying pizza in the city. Love the ambience of every Joes I've been to but nothing stood out to me.

You can't come to New York and not grab a slice at Joe's Pizza! There was a line when we got there, but it moved pretty quickly and was absolutely worth it. The pizza was hot, crispy, and delicious, simple New York-style pizza done right. Great spot to grab a slice and experience a little piece of NYC!

Very yum and quick service. Open late at night so perfect for a grab and go. Can get crowded during busy hours but everyone's friendly and happy to have tried this staple

Late night slice you really can't beat it! As a spider man lover since a kid I couldn't pass up coming here. Classic cheese slice is always the way to go, great ambience late night everyone here from outside the bar. Quick service and funny guys working behind the counter. Can't complain at all.

I'm not sure why they aren't getting a higher rating on here... Honestly, this was one of my favorite pizzas! The crust was so thin and crispy, and it was so yummy and freshly made. The only thing that kind of stressed me out was that it's all cash only, so I was a bit scrambling for my cash when I got to the front, which is my highkey my fault oops... I really loved Joe's pizza, and I would definitely go back. YAY

    Do they cater?

Hi, you can email Ian.joespizza@gmail.com with your catering needs

What is the largest size for tshirts?

    XXL

Will Joe's be adding any vegan slices in the future?

a lot of people dont know but They already have an amazing CheeseLESS veggie only pie !!! very very very good.

Can you call and order a pie ahead of time in order for a quicker pick-up?

You can order pickup. They're on a number of services where you can order pickup or delivery without calling as well. I use DoorDash most frequently.

Is there a public restroom in the restaurant?

I did not use one while there but from the layout I would say no. It is a very small establishment.

Is there a place to sit?

It's a small shop so there isn't much seating. There is a table in the middle and counter space all along the walls and window where you can find a few seats (bar stool type).

This location was super busy and there was a line outside the door, even at midnight on a Thursday. However, the line did move quickly inside. There are not any chairs inside, just bar tables to stand around, although there did seem to be a small table with a few chairs outside. Some of the bar tables had shakers with extra chili flakes or parmesan. The pizza slice gets put into their oven to be warmed to the crisp (if it has been left out for a while), so I would say that the service was excellent for that consideration. My friends and I shared a slice of the Supreme. It was SO good! I had heard this was an overrated spot, but the taste of the onions and sausage on a thin and crispy crust was fantastic. It was pretty large in size and could be shared with others. I would definitely come back to try their other pizza slices. Very solid spot to me.

Iconically known as the workplace of Peter Parker in the original Spider-Man movie, I knew it was mandatory to pay a visit during a very Spider-Man focused weekend. Now I'm sure there are cheaper slices available elsewhere - these range about $5-6 per slice, but they're really delicious. I'm a big fan of the thin crust and simple yet yummy toppings. We went 2 times during our trip - first ordering 2 pepperoni and later a Caprese, White, and Supreme. They were all great, but my favorite was the classic pepperoni. If you're going with a group of more than 2 people and don't all mind getting the same flavor, I recommend waiting in line next door - which is where they sell by the pie only. Both lines move relatively quickly, but some times are definitely more popular than others (weekend nights). You can honestly expect minimal eating space because there's so many people trying to be in there, but we got lucky and were able to eat at one of the countertops on the side. They also have additional seasonings available such as parmesan cheese, oregano, garlic powder, and chili flakes. Definitely willing to come back next time I'm near Times Square!

I ordered via Uber Eats this time, and MAN -- I was blown away. I honestly thought that they had screwed up and sent me a gluten version. I checked the order and receipt. I was so happy. RIGHT BY THE DOOR. Do people not realize that putting a bar near a door on a freezing cold night benefits no one? Good thing I did not order alcohol or I would have froze to death. Seriously, none of the pies stood out in grand memory. All I can think of is, well, nothing. Nothing positive anyway. The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal. Part of the problem I feel is they are trying to go for a vibe that has a New York and modern feel. It does not work. Stay true to one or the other. Or at least look at other business models. I will use another pizzeria in Bushwick that exemplifies it perfectly. It is a hipster pizzeria in a hipster neighborhood. Through balance, it creates an ambiance both welcoming and warm without losing any of its Bushwick character. It does this by not beating you over the head with hipster vibes, just enough to let you know that you are in Bushwick. The band Franz Ferdinand was playing as I was wrapping up. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!
