So they have this seasonal dessert called the Maple Pumpkin Toast......sooooo good! They said it's seasonal so not sure how much longer they will have it. The Japanese toasted bread with this pumpkin fluff (not heavy, but light and fluffy), sprinkled with candied pecans and drizzled with maple syrup. It was sooo...good! Kaneohe is spacious and has easy parking. Ewa Beach is the most Instagramable! Check out the signature koi fish wall right outside the cafe! Look at all of the cute wall murals! With free parking at the Laulani Shopping Center, this Jolene's is located between Hawaii State Federal Credit Union and Ahi & Vegetable on the Ross wing of the mall. Service was exceptionally friendly and efficient! Rowena is a cheerful cashier and was very helpful and informative! She explained how Jolene drew the designs on the package! Wow! Very cool! This Jolene's location is really close to my house and where I do a lot of my errands, so we finally tried it out one day. We were hungry and since we hadn't ever been to a Jolene's before, the menu was a little overwhelming. Everything sounded so good. The counter ladies were great and made some suggestions. We ended up getting a few things to share--chicken sandwich, corn chowder, cajun fries--and the portions were very generous. I'm going to need to go back to try lots of other things! In addition to the great menu, they also carry a bunch of packaged food items and have a really cute gift display. Their reusable bags are so cute. That stuff really distracted me while I was trying to concentrate on ordering lunch. I may have to go back sometime to nab some cute goodies. We really enjoyed having a girls luncheon at Jolene's. The menu look has changed but the food and great flavor is the same. We ordered the 6 Birria Wontons, the Birria Melt with Waffle fries & the smoke Brisket plate with rice and salad. Everything was delicious. The young lady checked on our table. Got a recommendation to check this place out, so decided to go. I figured a butta lobster roll would be classic and smoked brisket moco had to be the other plate to try. Butta lobster roll was beyond exception! One of the best ones I have had. The lobster mayo mixture was perfectly made with a lot of flavor complimenting the pickled vegetables tartiness, but it doesn't end there because the crisp of the bread was giving!!! You squeeze some of that lemon wedge on it and it seals the deal. Smoked brisket moco was absolutely delicious. I love brisket, personally, so I could be biased. The tenderness and fattyness with a smoked flavor... then you top with gravy and an over easy egg. Wow. I enjoyed that plate a lot. But I did not enjoy the pickled vegetable side for it. It didn't compliment the food very well. I did take out over the phone, and customer service on the phone was amazing! You have to eat here at least once! It's literally like a small location next to other food places. Their sandwiches are amazing and definitely fulfilling. Described the difference between the taste of House dressing and the Oriental dressing. She was right. The place is clean and the food is served so cute/fancy. Jolene's is known for their lobster rolls, so that's what I went with. Their Buttah Lobster Roll was delicious. It's served chilled with lettuce, onion and pickled veggies. I had this before at their downtown location a few years ago. It tasted like a lobster banh mi then and it still tastes like a lobster banh mi today. However, I did notice that they use a lot less pickled veggies now. The top of the roll was topped with big chunks of lobster meat. The inside of the roll had more of the minced lobster. It was still a great roll. I prefer the seasoned mayo that they use instead of the usual drawn butter. I added a tomato bisque for a dollar. It was good, but a little on the tart side for me. A little sprinkle of sugar would have balanced out the flavor. read more

This is the place for the crustation that I'm allergic to but thankfully they have so much more than that, located in the Laulani Shopping Center parking will never be an issue though seating on the flip side are much smaller than it's downtown location. You don't have to like seafood to visit. So I come here every so often to get the fries covered with either crawfish or lobster. And the brisket fries are good too. I've gotten their lobster rolls before and they are loaded with meat but I think it looks huge because the buns are small. Let's face it, I've been spoiled living in the east coast with lobster rolls and clam chowder. And the crazy thing is I don't remember seeing clam chowder at the restaurant. There are specials to save a couple of bucks because this place is a little pricey. But the one thing I get here is the smash burgers. Surprising I like the single patty. The double patty is just too much. But the taste is always there. The food is made to order so there is a slight wait time. And if you don't want to pay the extra money for a takeout bag, they will tie your packages together with ribbon tape. It's looks really fancy. Overall four stars. Food is good, service is good. The ambiance was very nice I liked the greenery, the restaurant smelled great. There were a lot of customers on a Saturday at 1. The cashier was very friendly and helpful she recommended the tomato bisque that was a really good side choice 10/10. Other than the food taking 25 min it seemed worth the wait. G gave the chicken sandwich a 7/10 said he rather have raising canes. B gave the pastrami a 7/10. The fries was 9/10! Asked if they would come back they said yes!
