So I had relatively decent expectations for this place but there were overall a lot of misses here. First and foremost, service was not great. We waited about 20 min after we sat down before someone came and greeted us and took our drink orders. There weren't many people there and it looked like they were definitely short staffed. Food we got was not great, chicken I got was overcooked, chewy and dry. It was also very much lacking in flavor. Could not finish it. For the bill, we paid almost $100 for 2 mediocre entrees, a soda, and a cocktail. Not very good and now I am not surprised why there weren't that many people there. Do not recommend and definitely stay away.

I attended a company party at this hotel restaurant. It was tricky to locate within the IDS building. You will have to enter the Marquette hotel and then take the elevator to level 3. Once you exit the elevator you will see a room with Foosball table. Go pass this room and walk towards the balcony area where I found my coworkers. Food was delicious, I ordered filet mignon, ceasar salad and fries with alioli sauce. However we only had 1 waiter working that evening. There were other tables as well that he needed to tend to. He took orders from half the group and then came back later to take the rest of our order. I thought that was odd, but whatever. 2 of my coworkers food was not made and waited for their meal, while the waiter asked if anyone wanted desserts. Couple of my coworkers went to the simulator room to kill some time and came back looking frustrated. An employee advised them it will cost money to play by hour. They said no thank you. Aside from dinner, the building hosted a holiday event in the lobby, we can hear them calling out bingo numbers below. I hope this restaurant finds more servers, i felt bad for the waiter.

Amazing and delicious breakfast buffet in this immaculate and classy downtown Minneapolis hotel. I loved sitting at the Mary Tyler Moore table - complete with a stunning view of Crystal Court - and enjoying the fresh and varied buffet choices, including overnight oats, vegetable frittata, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, and smoked salmon. Everything was delectable! The beautiful and attentive waitress, whose tenure with the restaurant goes back several decades to its days as Basel's, made the experience even more special. "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" fans will remember the locale from the opening show credits. A 10 in every category!

Love the TopGolf! Food was awesome, love the salmon salad and Jan is amazing! The views on the Terrance are wonderful too! Love the "outside" vibe.

The setting that made the experience always so special, before they move to their residency inside the Guthrie Theater under a new name. I cannot wait to see what they do next. Every dish truly hit it out of the park. From the Three Sisters salad with bison and squash to the fried quail and rich, earthy mushroom soup, each plate showcased Indigenous ingredients and traditions in a way that felt both thoughtful and exciting. This is not your typical dining experience and that's exactly what makes it so satisfying. Even the margarita was a standout: beautifully presented and just as delicious as it looked. I will definitely miss this riverfront location, but I am so excited for their next chapter.

This place totally lived up to the hype, in my opinion!…read more I got the maple pepita latte ($10), sweet potatoes ($18), bison skirt steak tacos ($55), and spoonbread ($15). The latte came garnished with rose petals and was not too sweet. It was a nice way to start my meal. Then came the sweet potatoes, and oh my God, I think they were the best sweet potatoes I've ever had. They were unbelievably, delectably sweet and cooked perfectly. They had an excellent char while being soft on the inside. And the sweetness was complemented nicely by the maple chili crisp, which had just a bit of a kick. The bison skirt steak tacos were also delicious. The bison was so tender and juicy. Full of flavor and cooked superbly. My server wasn't kidding when she said the tacos were big enough to share between a few people. I ate the tacos by myself, and I was beyond stuffed. Alas, I wasn't a big fan of the spoonbread. The flavor wasn't bad, but I didn't care for the texture, which was a little too coarse for me. The dessert was gluten-free, and I could REALLY tell. It was also too spicy for me. The spoonbread was drenched in hot honey. But the sweet potatoes, tacos, and attentive & friendly service more than made up for it. The restaurant isn't cheap (especially for a solo diner), but I've seen worse prices for worse food. And I'm eager to check out their new location the next time I'm in Minneapolis. Note - if you pay with a credit card, it does come with a 3% fee.

This makes the burger really chewy and you really can't taste the beef anymore like you used to when it was thicker. I would take this as it's not as good as it used to be. It is not as good as the original hype from the beginning. In conclusion, I do not think it's worth the $19. I rather get a cheesesteak for $16 at Tono's which comes with fresh not burnt fries rather than come back here and get a burger here. It's highly unlikely I will be back here. I honestly feel like the burgers have gone way WAY downhill. The fries here have gotten terrible so I stopped getting the fries a long time ago. They are not soft crisp like they used to be. They are too golden brown color, almost like burnt hard fries. I never like to eat down here. I normally would order the Parlour burger upstairs. The basement part which is Parlour has a weird smell like a locker room smell so that's why I don't like to eat down here.

We did the wine pairing with our 10 course experience and it was the BEST overall dining experience we have ever had anywhere! They only have 2 seatings an evening but even each seating is staggered so it's like you are having your own private tasting for your party. Each course was better than the previous course and every course was INCREDIBLE with outstanding flavors that were explained in great detail each time! It was such a memorable experience from the first course to the last course that you never wanted it to end. You also get the entire menu including the wine pairing in a nice note before you leave. There is a lot to say about this restaurant, and most of it is very good. The ambiance had perfect energy. It felt lively, but never loud or overwhelming. It struck a really nice balance for a special night out. You could comfortably enjoy the experience and conversation. The service was exceptional. Not just friendly, but incredibly knowledgeable. Every course and every pairing was explained in detail, and the staff clearly knew their craft. Service - they absolutely delivered. We chose The W.C. Whitney Menu. I had the Premium Wine Pairing, which was excellent and very well done. My wife chose the Temperance Pairing since she does not drink alcohol. This was one of the few disappointments of the evening. Many of the drinks were designed to mimic the taste of cocktails and wine, while my wife does not care for the taste of alcoholic drinks. When it came to the food, there was a range. Some dishes were truly outstanding and worthy of Demi's reputation. Some were good but not exactly great. And honestly, a few were mediocre. With a tasting menu, you expect some variation, but at this level and at this price, mediocre does not cut it. Here's what it really comes down to. I would rate the experience itself 5-stars. But the cost of the evening did not come close to matching what was delivered. I was not looking for, or expecting value! We spent over $700 for the evening. Demi is very good. The service is exceptional. The ambiance is awesome. Much of the food is outstanding. But in my opinion, the overall experience did not justify the extremely high cost.
