The place needs deep cleaning! The walls right next to the tables are filthy. The food is ok but nothing so good to make me go back to it. Only the salad was weird which was supposed to be a Greek salad but only had one piece of tomatoes. The service was good and the waitress sweet

So this is a little neighborhood bar that looks like it gets a lot of business. The outside has a patio area and that's usually full on a nice days. More so than the inside. So if you want to go ahead and sit out side then that would probably be the move. The inside is a typical sports bar kind of situation, has a full bar if you are trying to drink. The service was good, everybody seemed to be nice and friendly and help me as soon as I sat at the bar. I got to carry out order so I sat there and waited while my order was being prepared. The bartender offered me a drink while I waited, and was super friendly. The food was nothing amazing. I ordered some lemon pepper wings, which are actually pretty decent. The fries were really flimsy and didn't have any crisp or crunch to them. The calamari breading was not super amazing, and it started to dissipate as well. The wings were probably the best thing that I had in my order. It was a standard sports bar environment, nothing with any fancy bells and whistles, if you need some quick bar food this would be the place but it was only okay, and nothing to ride home about.

We came here for dinner tonight, arriving a little after 6:30 pm on a Thursday night. Jo's Grille has a free parking lot, but it's just too small for the number of customers that could fill up the restaurant. Blackburn Park has a parking lot very close by, and it looked like some of Jo's Grille's customers parked there. We walked in and were told by one of the three servers rushing by us to sit anywhere we wanted. We chose a table next to the fireplace that's in the middle of the indoor dining area. There are many tables in the indoor dining area, and large groups could be accommodated by pushing tables together. There is an outside patio surrounded by a low fence, and this area had many tables, with shade provided by large umbrellas. One of the servers came by to drop off menus and find out what we wanted to drink. She seemed to be in a hurry, which, I noticed, she actually was the entire time we were there. She really moved fast among the customers' tables and the kitchen. I wish that this equated to great and efficient service, but it didn't actually turn out that way. She wasn't bad, it's just that we couldn't quickly find her when we needed her for something. The way I saw it was that there were three servers handling all the customers, and the place was near capacity with customers while we were there. R ordered a meal with one kabob skewer of grilled shrimp (and bell peppers, onions and mushrooms), seasoned rice and a Greek salad. I ordered a meal with two grilled pork chops, mashed potatoes and a Greek salad. Our meals were served within 15 minutes. I just loved my meal - absolutely seasoned well and delicious, and the pork chops were meaty. The first pork chop I ate was juicy, tender and full of flavor. The potatoes were fluffy and also delicious. The only hitch with my meal was that the second pork chop was slightly undercooked and I sent it back for more cooking. It came back with even more grilled/charred flavor, so this was a win for me! R loved his meal too. We were both surprised that the portions were generous, even for the salads. Neither one of us had any room for dessert, so it was a pass. I'm looking forward to trying more items on the menu, which has a nice variety of appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, house specials, wings and kids' meals.

First time trying Jo's Grille. Service wasn't great- we sat for 10 minutes before even having someone come over. Yet other tables who sat after us were served. The waitress wasn't very friendly but refilled our water at least. I would say the service was extremely casual to the point where we had to chase down servers when the order was wrong. Food was pretty good! The southwest burger was good and the side of sweet potato fries hit the spot. Just know it's a $1.95 charge to substitute sides. The Mac n cheese with chicken was just ok. It looked super creamy and cheesy but it wasn't. I added salt and pepper which helped the flavor a lot. There was plenty of seating on the patio tonight (Wednesday) which was nice!

Hidden lil gem in the Sandy Springs area! 3:30pm ish. Not crowded at all. Greeted promptly and seated. Very nice waitresses. For the appetizer we had mild hot wings. Wings came out fresh and crispy as requested. Fries were seasoned really good. I loved the fries. I had the House Kabobs with rice and Caesar salad. You get 3 kabobs, chicken, steak, and shrimp. Veggies. Delicious. The steak was cook perfectly... med well. Chicken was succulent and not dry like chicken kabobs can get. Really good. My friend had the ribeye steak and fries. The ribeye was very tasty as well. Quiet atmosphere. Outside/ Patio and bar area seating. They have TVs inside to watch as well. We were hungry and decided to stop. This place didn't miss.

This place is great! The menu is loaded with options, i have only had the lemon pepper wings , Philly and the Howard's special hot wings along with fried okra and fries on separate occasions. The bar tender Doris always takes care of patrons and customers at the bar and handles all the to go orders and she doesn't miss a beat. She is always on it and remembers customers by name and knows sometime what they ordered last time. I will always visit here for the many things they have on the menu. I want to try the lobster tail next time.

This is a basic sports bar, with indoor and outdoor dining space as well as takeout. The menu is broad and includes salads, burgers/sandwiches, plus entrees like steak and pork chops - it also has some Italian and Greek options. Service is slow, so it may take some time for them to get food in front of you, but it's hot when it finally arrives. The food is pretty average, so expect that and you won't be disappointed. While some of the burgers look home-made, others like the turkey burger are pre-made patties. Mac & cheese tastes like Kraft, and salad dressings are standard bulk-made offerings. Limited draft beers (all domestic) plus bottled beer. They charge extra for modifications to dishes. No masks are required, and no sign of social distancing or reduced capacity.

Making reservations was incredibly easy through OpenTable, and I was pleasantly surprised by the convenient valet service for only $3. It was an effortless start to what turned out to be an exceptional dining experience. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the host and promptly escorted to our table without any wait. Our waiter, Kevin, was phenomenal. He did an excellent job explaining the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations, and making sure everyone's needs were attended to throughout the afternoon. The service was attentive without being overbearing--truly excellent and unforgettable hospitality. We started with the Chargrilled Oysters, Oysters Rockefeller, and Calamari. Everything was satisfying, but the calamari was the standout for me. It had the perfect crunch and was quite literally fried to perfection. I would absolutely order it again. These appetizers are true staples and a great way to start the meal. We also enjoyed several rounds of cocktails. The bartender was able to execute a few off-menu, custom cocktails perfectly, and there were absolutely no complaints from our table. Everything was well-balanced and thoughtfully prepared. For my entrée, I ordered the Blackened Branzino with lemon-herb beurre blanc, paired with whipped potatoes and Vichy carrots. By far, this is one of the best seafood entrées I've had in Atlanta. I've had branzino at plenty of other restaurants, but this one? It clears the competition and has officially claimed the #1 spot on my list. The fish was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the sauce and sides. The rest of our party had equally impressive meals. I had the opportunity to sample the 12 oz. Prime NY Strip, Blackened Salmon, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Brussels Sprouts, Green Beans, and Clam Chowder, and everything was amazing. There wasn't a single dish that disappointed. Overall, this was truly an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Great food, phenomenal hospitality, attentive service, and an atmosphere that made celebrating my mother's birthday feel special. I'm already looking forward to returning--and next time, I definitely want to check out the patio! A true standout for seafood in Atlanta. Highly recommend.

We paired the oysters with calamari, truffle fries, and a couple of glasses of the HH Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. Everything tasted good, and our server Dayvion gave us excellent service. After a few visits, I've tried a good variety of the menu: * **Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich:** This is served open-face and uses a mix of Sichuan and Calabrian chili. It is absolutely amazing, but fair warning: it is *hot*. Even if you're used to Sichuan spice, this one may still be tough to deal with, but it's still incredibly flavorful and enjoyable. Just keep in mind that they don't adjust the heat level for this one. * **The Greens:** These are wonderful. They have a rich, savory pork flavor and are easily a must-order for me every single time. * **Shrimp and Grits:** This has a fantastic sauce that strikes the perfect balance--not too heavy, but not watery either. My only minor wish is that they'd add some andouille sausage to it (even if raised the price), but it's still a really well-executed dish. * **Southern Pho:** Really great and super hearty. It's a comforting bowl, though probably best enjoyed during the winter months. * **Drinks:** The cocktails are always creative and well-made, and they keep a really interesting beer list on hand too. ### 2. The Ambience The vibe here is great. The interior feels like a charming, cozy little house you'd find in Savannah. I especially love the bar area, which has these really cool copper chandelier lights that give the space a warm, inviting glow. ### 3. The Service The staff has been consistently friendly and welcoming every single time I've been here. The Summary I honestly feel lucky to live close to this place. It doesn't get much love or mentions from the Atlanta social media crowd and local press (the good news is you won't encounter a lot of annoying people lol).. I'm a fan though.

I went with a fried everything platter for $17. Well the food was really good. Made to order and served fresh and hot. The oysters were perfect, crunchy and creamy at the same time. The shrimp were juicy not overcooked. Everything well seasoned. The hush puppies probably came out of a bag frozen. Sweet style with whole corn kernels. But they were good too. The catfish was I think pre breaded, but well seasoned. Everything tasted great so they immediately went from a 1 to a 3. I can't say it's a great value but they do seem to be priced accordingly considering the cost of fresh seafood. I would go 4 but the empty parking lot and weird vibe just left me a bit uneasy. Each sack weighed different. I believe the regular price was $5.49/lb. Still a very fair price for the quality and the size of the crawfish. For our 36lb sack there was probably 15-20 dead crawfish. I would say that's not too bad. It was fun for the kids to see the critters and chase them around with them for a bit. We also got some blue crab. The males and females were priced differently and paid per lb after they were bagged. Another thing is that they do offer ice for the crawfish but I forgot to check if they put it in the bag and they forgot. Luckily they were still fine when we got back to my parents house 1hr away! They also had tanks full of other types of live seafood like shrimp, fish, lobster.. etc. Overall, amazing place to find fresh seafood in bulk!

Since then, we've come back multiple times and tried a variety of their seafood, including the Santa Barbara uni, snow crab legs, and lobster. Everything has been incredibly fresh each time. It is quality you can really taste. What I love most is how consistent they are. Whether you're picking up something simple or splurging a bit, the freshness and selection never disappoint. This has officially become our go-to seafood market for takeout, and I can't recommend it enough if you're looking for fresh seafood without the fuss.

Dumpling Master in Chamblee, GA Handmade Chinese Soup…read moreDumplings Spot Everything we tried: Pork soup dumplings -- recommend Juicy soup inside, and the skin is slightly thick with a little chew. I recommend dipping them in their house-made dumpling sauce or black vinegar. They also have other meat options. Har gow (shrimp dumplings) Filled with shrimp paste, bamboo, and dried scallops, has a stronger seafood flavor compared to traditional ones. Pan-fried pork & chive dumplings Crispy on the outside, and you can tell the skin is handmade. The filling is very juicy and lightly seasoned, more of a homemade style. Beef fried noodles -- recommend Yellow egg noodles with black pepper beef and vegetables. Savory with a nice peppery and wok flavor. Chili oil wontons Appetizer with shrimp and pork filling, topped with chili oil and dumpling sauce. Szechuan spicy chicken Spicy with a slight numbing kick, best paired with rice. The wait was much longer than expected--about 30 minutes--and while they did apologize for the delay, better communication and customer service would have made a big difference. Kindness and good customer service go a long way, especially when the establishment isn't extremely busy. I understand that delays can happen, but customers should still feel acknowledged and treated with courtesy while they wait. 8/8/26 I wouldn't recommend this because of their character and tone towards every delivery driver.
