Excellent pizza! Joseph's Pizza in Glendale Heights was our favorite pizza when we lived in that area. We ordered a thin crust pizza with half green pepper and half sausage tonight at the new location and it brought back fond memories of the perfect pizza. The crust is crisp but a little chewy with excellent texture. Something most pizza places are lacking. The cheese has a delicious flavor and the sauce is perfect. So happy to have Joseph's pizza back in our life. read more

We thought we'd try our newest pizza place. We are picky on our crust and thought this a perfect time to open a new option. There was one couple eating in the dining room and no one else other that 8 (literally) people behind the counter/in the kitchen. To get a feel for their food I ordered the cheese lasagna with meat sauce and we also ordered a 10" pepperoni pizza with very thin very well done crust. After about 20 mins the gal brought out my lasagna and said she'd be back with the pizza in a minute. I started to nibble.... and nibble... and the line at the pickup window just kept getting longer... and I kept hearing I'm sorry... and people were being told 7 more minutes. My lasagna was okay but they simply waived the meat across the sauce... no top on my list at all. We had been waiting 45 minutes at this point and my lasagna was half gone from nibbling! The waiting customers at the front were numbered at 8. My husband said enough, walked up and said we were leaving. The gal said 7 more minutes sir. WHAT??? We left. This was not acceptable whatsoever which speaks strongly about their customer service as well. She said "I understand your frustration. Thank you". Guess when we will go back there... read more

Great little pizza place in Wasco. No frills, just really great food. The calzones are huge and worth sharing with someone. I've only stopped in to order carry-out, so I don't know about service in-house, but as far as quality and price, this place is the best in the area that I've had for pizza. read more

This evening my wife called Cucina about 8:20 to try and place an order for a school function tomorrow. The phone rang numerous times with no answer. She tried 2 more times over the next few minutes with same result. The order was important to our function and we live near by so she drove to the Wasco location to place the order in person. She arrived at 8:45, 15 minutes prior to close. When she tried the door it was locked. There was a man at the counter who waved her off. Said they were closed. She told him through the door she just wanted to place an order for pick up tomorrow afternoon. He waved again and turned away. This is not the first time we have had a poor experience here. We have 3 pizza places in Wasco and try to support them all. We will not be returning to Cucina. Taylor St and Cassano's have much better pizza and seem to appreciate the business. read more

Amazing pizza at this family owned restaurant! My boyfriend is from here and talks about it being his favorite pizza and now I completely agree. Everything from the crust at just the right crispness to the cheese and seasoning on top. I ordered sausage on my half of the pizza. It wasn't greasy or fatty, just really good. Manager/owner? Rose will be nasty to a paying customer any day of the week. We order food for delivery at least three days per week. They forgot the bread in a delivery order and I called to ask about it- no apology or offer of any resolution, just a rude, "What? It's only a few dollars!". Food is mostly delicious if you can get it... Wednesday at dinner time, after placing the order and giving my card number, I was put on hold for about five minutes. Rose came back in the phone to say, "Listen. I've got one driver who is in their way to Charlestowne Mall. Then he's gotta come ALL the way back here, get your food when it's ready, and-" so I said forget it. Today there's a charge on my card for the order!!! I will ALWAYS go to Taylor St from now on. read more

Great pizza, homemade ingredients, fresh veggies. They do not cut corners and their pizza is not greasy like Charlie Fox's. Their sandwiches and salads are also very good. Very friendly and polite workers too. We had our credit card info stolen by a Charlie Fox employee, so we are glad we found Pizza Cuncina, pizza is superior to theirs. read more

Our family has ordered from this place for years and always enjoyed the food and service until today. The pizza we received was soaked underneath. It was so bad the box was falling apart. The manager I spoke with was extremely rude. I asked for a pizza credit and was told I would receive a new pizza or a $5 coupon. I didn't want to chance another bad pizza and asked again to just credit me a meal on my next order. He was argumentative, rude and refused to issue a refund or credit. It was very disappointing given the amount of years we've been customers and how much money we've spent. Pizza Cucina lost 5 loyal customers today. read more

It is sad to see this company go down the crapper.... We would order from them once a week to every two weeks and their food was delicious but over the course of time its shit.... I have lived in my house for over 20 years and have depended on this restaurant for food as me and my family have always ordered from them as the food was good... Its amazing what a year does... Their pizza sucks you are lucky if you can get a decent amount of ingredients on the pizza along with cheese... The pizza is on the expensive side (which was fine when it use to be good however over paying for pizza that is barely covered by cheese is dissapoiting..) Whats more dissapointing is when the pizza is not cooked all the way through and you get a pizza with white cheese partially melted..... The management is rude and could give two craps abt service.... The worse part about this restaurant is they never have any of the menu items as they are always out from Friday to Sunday..... If you have a taste for anything else other than pizza do not bother... Its a waste of time... They are always out of pastas and from what I also heard, out of salad and dressing on a friday.. They consistently use the excuse of doing their ordering in the beggining of the week and are out by the weekend... Such a badly managed business.... Its a shame to see this restaurant go from great to whitecastle bad.... This also includes the poor management of never having inventory in.... At least at whitecastle they never ran out of food... SHAKING HEAD.. Well the thought of doing a catering order for fourth of july went out the window... Especially when they run out of over 50% of their food items on a friday.... This is the second time we ordered from them. The first time we had the Big 20 inch cheese with chicken wings. I liked the wings but my wife didn't. The pizza was ok. The second time I ordered we wanted cheese on one side and two extra toppings on the other. This would be a 'total" of one topping which is a common practice among many other pizza kitchens we order from. However I was told we would be charged for 2 toppings even though we only want that topping on one side. I asked her to double check that and she came back with the same response. I cancelled my order. It's not so much having to pay another $1.50 for ingredients we are NOT getting but it's the policy that turned me off. They are not "losing' anything by charging only for one toppings so it seems to me that this type of policy is not a smart one. They just lost a pretty good size order and all future orders because this dumb policy. read more
