The Blackberry has become a regular stop on our Olympic Peninsula summer adventures. One of the only restaurant joints in the area, this classic diner has a "mom & pop" feel with vinyl booths, homemade pie, and friendly service. It's almost always busy, but we've never had to wait more than a few minutes for a table. And the portions are enormous. We learned on an earlier visit that it's best to order something and share it. Whether it's their meat-filled omelette (with house-made biscuits) or the giant breakfast combo, we've never left the Blackberry hungry. On our most recent visit, we noticed that pie prices had gone up tremendously. So if you're in the mood for a slice, keep in mind this ain't Shari's or Denny's. They do make a mean pie, so it's worth the price! Bonus that they have a huge parking lot, with space to park with our travel trailer.

I drove from Port Angeles on a work trip because my mom's name is Joyce and I wanted to share some fun with my family! The food was yummy and the service was great. They had sold out of most pie but I got there late in the day. They also have a convenient drive thru!

New owners, new menu! Still great food/service. This is a great, small town café to support when visiting the Olympic Peninsula.

Just found another hidden gem. Staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions. We had a group of six. We ordered lunch and everyone enjoyed their food. The blackberry bbq sauce is a must try. I had the patty melt. It was tasty. Several in our group had the four bean salad side and enjoyed itThe tater tots were crispy and delicious. And the pies were so fresh and delicious. Not many tables, but well worth the trip to try the food and desserts.

I had the chicken fried steak and it hit the spot after a morning hike. Probably the best I've ever had. Definitely nailed the comfort food. The woman who helped me was cherry and so nice! Love the outdoor seating too.

Whenever we're near Joyce, the Blackberry Cafe is a must stop for slices of their Blackberry Pie. This is the best blackberry pie anywhere, including the ones I make. The crust is delicious and the slices are thick with delicious blackberries which are sweetened perfectly. This is definitely a 5 star pie and since I make them I understand the effort that goes into making a delicious pie. Tho at $9.00 a slice now, the price has become a bit steep - luckily the slices are large enough that two can share. Maybe next time I'll call in advance and order a whole pie for $36

We happened upon this place completely by accident and WOW, was all we could say when we were done. On a weekend highlighted by good food, this place stuck out! The home of the 20oz Sasquatch burger, this place has a unique Pacific Northwest nostalgia, a great Ma and Pa drive-in sort of vibe, and makes possibly the best barbecue sauce I've ever tasted. Seriously, the blackberry barbecue sauce made for hands-down the best fry dipping that we've had in a long time. It also made some boss level campfire sauce! We found this place completely by accident, as it was basically the only spot to grab food that was midway between Forks Washington and Poulsbo. We enjoyed a number of burgers, onion rings, crinkle fries and some shakes. The burgers were some of the best we've had in all of Washington. Really nice flavor on the meat, some good bacon and A good amount of cheese. The onion rings were quite good as well, as were the fries. Combined with the barbecue/mayo campfire sauce, and this made for as good of a combination as we could've hoped for. The shakes were the only non-homerun, but we only tried the chocolate and a root beer (by request of our eight year old), and based on the blackberry offerings, I suspect the blackberry shakes leave a little to be desired. If the blackberry/raspberry pie was any indication, anything involving berries from this area is to be sought out! We were out on the peninsula for an entire weekend, and my only regret was not ordering the Sasquatch burger. Granted, the thing was $32.95 but it could easily be shared among our family of five, and would've made for a memorable Christmas card photo!

Lots of seating available indoors and outside. You can enjoy having your lunch while watching free roaming chickens. There are Emus, donkey and a cat who we didn't get to meet. What a vibe! The burger was tasty, although meat patty was a bit bland, underseasoned but overall great burger. The garlic parm fries were GARLICKY! A bit too oily for me but perfect for garlic lovers. For dessert we shared their warm 6 inch blackberry pie with soft serve on top. I've read amazing reviews about this pie but Too many seeds for me. The crust was delicious and thin how I like it. And overall not too sweet so the ice cream was definitely needed for that balance ;) 100% coming back next time I visit Prt Angeles!

I like that you order with the cashier and they deliver the food to your table, so it's like partial food service. This is great for people coming in groups so you don't have to worry about splitting the bill. I ordered a grilled cheese with cheddar, and egg added inside. I do wish the cheese was a little more melted, but the bread was perfectly crispy and soft. For my side I chose the tomato bisque, which was pretty creamy and lacked a strong, tangy tomato flavor. I would skip the tomato soup next time and opt for a different side. The sweet potato fries were DELICIOUS, they were so crispy on the outside and not soggy. I do wish they had different sizes for the sides, because the full order of sweet potato fries is huge and a little excessive if you're already ordering an entree that come with a side. There is an extra charge for ranch dipping. My friends were all happy with their food. There is a bathroom that also brings you to free roaming chicken! I do want to come back to try their ice cream and pies!!!

If I were Sasquatch, I'd still be full after eating this. They practically put two fillets into one sandwich. The breading was flavorful, and the chicken was incredibly juicy and tender. I definitely appreciated the generous portion size. 4/5 Ahi Tuna - Deliciously fresh and simple. The tuna was lightly seared and served sashimi-style with a perfect rare interior. Being so close to the ocean makes you appreciate how fresh seafood can taste, and they deliver that here. It's lightly dressed with soy sauce and citrus to bring out the natural flavor of the fish. 5/5 Service & Atmosphere - The service was great, and we were seated quickly. (balsamic vinegar goodness) Menu is somewhat small but they have a great Chicken sandwich that is perfection in crunch, best batter Ive had (since Oak in Seattle. I think it originally was the sister to Spruce but changed owners.?) The other star dish is pork schnitzel, tasty all around and I love the capers, the red cabbage side, it's not too big, so you can finish the meal. (which is perfect as I don't think it would carry well to reheat due to gravy) I can't forget to compliment the service. Our waiter checked on us often, gave suggestions when we asked, water always was refilled which we appreciated so much. Service is lost nowadays but not here! So come here for a small plate and specialty cocktails or craft beer night or a full meal. The only underwhelming item was the side of fries that come with the sandwich was meh, but they do have decorated ones you can order as side that might be more tasty.
