I placed an order to pick up and payment was sent and received . When I arrived ,there was a sign on the door that read "closed early ,thanks!" So without notice , I had no dinner and was out of the money I spent for it. If you decide to close early , you should also turn off the grub hub connection that accepts orders and payment . Kinda of a hole in the wall type place nothing fancy, but they're turning out delicious burgers with hand cut fries better than in n out. The burgers have a delicious charbroiled taste to them and the fries are fresh and well cooked. When in the Paso Robles area skip the chain fast food places and give J's burgers a try. They are inexpensive and you'll get a better quality burger, do your part and support a locally owned restaurant. I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn't crowded and the cashier took my order quickly. The furniture is simple and clean. Napkins on the tables. The cashier brought out my bacon cheeseburger and onion rings along with ketchup, bbq, and ranch sauces. Perfect trio for everything. Burger tasted great with onions, pickles, lettuce as condiments. Unbelievable! We tried to order 3 burgers, onion rings and garlic fries. First they're out of onion rings so can't make the western burger but we agreed to still have it with just grilled onions. Received a burger with no BBQ sauce and raw onions instead of grilled. Next was the green chili burger with Jack cheese, were told they only have American cheese. Received plain burger without any green chilis!!! Next burger, ooops they're out of buns! I can understand them wanting to use the regular onion rings they're used to but seriously there is a grocery store 5 minutes away or how about mention before the order that you only have 2 buns left????!!!!
