If you have yet to visit Juan Pollo, you're really missing out. I came to this particular location because of an AMAZING deal they are offering for pick-up. It is equivalent to their two chicken special, but only $40 and when you have a hungry family, it's a great way to provide a good meal. This meal came with their chicken, beans, rice and their infamous potato salad. Their salsa and tortillas are also good additions to a tasty meal. In regard to proportions, this was perfect for our family of 5 and more, which meant we had enough for seconds and thirds. I would most definitely return and recommend this location to everyone looking for a great meal at a phenomenal price. I went to pick up 3 whole chickens for to go. When we got to the car and opened one container, the chicken was MISSING BOTH WINGS! We went back to the store to complain and what stunned me the most was their reaction. The lady at the counter said to the guy (Ricky) who chopped our chicken that the wings were missing, and he nonchalantly said, "Oh ok I'll put it back" WTH?!? The lady responded, "Just go get them a new one." He then chopped a new one and packed it for us. All 4 crew members (2 I've mentioned plus 2 more ladies there) acted like it was not a big deal and probably something they do on a regular basis. They would have gotten away with it had we waited til we got home to start eating the chicken. Also, the new chicken that we got looked significantly bigger that the other 2 that we were given originally. We noticed this when we opened all of them at home. They were not missing any obvious parts but the breast and thigh parts were obviously smaller. I think maybe they chopped off a portion too in a more discreet way. I wish I took pictures of everything but I was just so stunned with what happened. Were they seriously trying to scam paying customers, one small chicken part at a time??? Even worse, is this the store or the company's tactic to save costs??? Either way, it's messed up! I emailed corporate about this too and am waiting for their response. Had a work Thanksgiving luncheon and decided on Juan Pollo. We ordered the Party Pak 3, it includes (18) Chickens, (2) Half-Pan Rice, (2) Half-Pan Beans, (2) Half-Pan Potato Salad, (2) Half-Pan Green Salad, Salsa & Tortillas. It says it feeds 60 people and is listed for $425. I had a mailer coupon so to apply so check your mail boxes! I sub one pan of salad and one pan of beans for extra rice and extra potato salad. By subbing for extra potato salad, it was an additional $10. Upon picking up, everything was hot and fresh and they provided all the plates/napkins/utensils. Ordering was easy, and picking up was super easy. Customer service was more than helpful. I appreciate doing business with Juan Pollo at this location and will continue to do so in the future. Whenever I come, there is usually a really rude door dash driver in front of me but the staff is always extra polite and accommodating to all their complaints. When I get to the line they always ask how I'm doing and take my order quickly after. They have really been giving me larger portions of food recently so I've been loving this place even more! Ordered lunch earlier and they totally screwed my order up. I sent one of my employees to pick it up and he gave them my name and the coupon they texted me. So they did a whole new order with chicken only and no sides. Then when I called to let them know the manager offered me the 3 dollars I overpaid for the chicken. It wasn't about the 3 dollars. I went there today. I ordered three sides with my chicken: Two medium rice One medium salad with Italian I get home and I have two potato salad (which I don't eat) and one salad with no dressing. With the pandemic going on, and getting back to our "normal life" I see that they have upped their sanitation, their employees wear masks at all times and are following compliance with customer safety.
