Even since my days before moving to Austin, this location has been ideal since it is super close to the trails and you're able to grab a smoothie then hit the trails pretty quickly. The vibes: I was excited to finally give JuiceLand a try. This specific JuiceLand location was great...it's quirky and right near Lady Bird Lake. All of the seating is outdoors. There are tons of plants and a fountain. The drink: The smoothie was good, but nothing special. I think the drinks are all natural, which explains the limited flavor. They have lots of menus options, but everything is SO expensive. I paid around $6 for a small smoothie. Some drinks were about $10. It's a nice alternative to ice cream, but I'll keep my JuiceLand visits to a minimum. Update on ingredients: The owner did reach out to inform me that " at Juiceland we do not use any fillers like ice, water or added flavors. Our produce is locally sourced and all our veggies are 100% organic. We believe that healthy and sustainable options should be available to everyone in our communities." This is the busiest location I've seen so it's slightly slower than some of the other Juicelands from the sheer volume of people. Great Austin staple. The smoothies are great quality especially for the price - I feel like they're usually a bit more expensive elsewhere. I personally had the honey beary and I've had the moon tower in the past and both are great. Some of the smoothies I've had before are a little too complicated and some of the flavors can get lost. It seems like all Juicelands have small parking areas for customers. Haha, this one is no different. BUT it is better than others *cough* Barton Springs *cough* because street parking is great and not off of busy roads. If you've been to one Juiceland, you've essentially gone to all. I love Juiceland. All Austinites most likely do, especially during spring and summer. I love that they have weekly specials where the S size is the same price as the M size. I got the peachy green from this location, and holy crap the juice masters were SO fast...I literally had my smoothie in hand in less than a minute after ordering. The kids love JuiceLand and I definitely love this location when hiking around town lake on a Sunday. I try to meet my girlfriend and walk Town Lake on a weekly basis and this is what finishes a perfect afternoon in Austin. The moon tower and honeyberry are our favorite drinks. My husband and I have been making healthier choices lately. We were in the area for Valentine's Day, and had just walked around on the paths. JuiceLand was a delicious, and healthy treat to reward us! I ordered the peachy greens and my husband ordered a red juice full of beets and other veggies. We really enjoyed or smoothies and for two larges it came to around $20. It was really filling and tided us over until dinner. We loved that this was a local shop and utilized fresh ingredients. There is plenty of seating and is perfect for those running near downtown Austin. I am still craving this delicious smoothie that I want to drive back to Austin right now! JuiceLand has quite a bit of history in Austin, especially when they split from Daily Juice and then started voraciously expanding all over the city! I previously worked for a public relations firm that helped with JuiceLand's initial expansion, back when they had three (yes, THREE) locations. They now have SIXTEEN, plus one in Houston, one in Dallas, and one in New York. Talk about taking over the world :) JuiceLand has improved a lot over the years. They've experimented with different recipes, tried different packaging, and I think they have gotten it perfect. Let me count the ways: - Menu variety. Oh gosh, the menu variety. Juices, smoothies, hot drinks, vegan food... there is something for everyone. They even have a kids menu with more child-friendly drinks (e.g. no weird ginger/chia/flaxseed concoctions). You can get made-to-order drinks or grab something from their freezer. I usually go for the freezer drinks because I'm impatient ;) - Great packaging and portion sizes. Way back in the day, JuiceLand put all of their cold-pressed juices in these hefty glass bottles with generic-looking green labels. This made it really tough to carry around, especially if you were doing a cleanse. Nowadays, they have perfectly sized and very vibrant recyclable plastic bottles. (Photo below). - Build-it-yourself juice cleanse. As someone who has tried out 6 different juice cleanses in my life (Blueprint, Mother Juice, Suja, Cooler Cleanse, Daily Greens, and JuiceLand), I really have to hand it to JuiceLand for the model they are using. They do NOT deliver, which means that your juices are 100% fresh, made the same day that they appear in the freezers. (Some popular cleanses like Blueprint and Cooler Cleanse are literally shipped cross-country 1-day air to you in an insulated cardboard box...) At JuiceLand, you show up at any location and pick out 6 juices of your choice from the freezer. There is a recommended menu, but you can literally pick out any 6 juices for the same price. For someone like me, who has food intolerance to beets (a staple of many veggie juices), this is great because I get to pick out my own replacements. - Delicious recipes! They have really improved over the years - I remember not being able to drink a few of the old concoctions, but nowadays I genuinely love every flavour I've tried. Some recommendations: - Ninja Bachelor Party. The pink salt is the secret. It is a mouthgasm of sweet and salty. Like chocolate covered pretzels, but better. - Applelilly. This is a great juice for beginners because it tastes... well, like a fruit juice. It's sweet and doesn't have weird leafy vegetables (no kale here). I could literally drink 6 of these a day if I wanted. - Valley Girl. Tangy and delicious - all the citrus fruits blended together in one. - Gingerade. This is Juiceland's take on the lemonade "master cleanse" (which is literally lemonade and cayenne pepper). JuiceLand's version also has ginger to up your metabolism and maple syrup so you don't gag from the tangyness. - Tigerlilly. If the Applelilly was delicious, you can ease into the more intense green juices using the Tigerlilly as a step up - it's got cucumber, celery, kale, parsley, and spinach. More vegetables but still a hint of sweet. read more

Plus, they have a cool and shelves for cold pressed juices and healthy snacks to grab on the go! I had the acai bowl - and it was delicious! Presentation was definitely 5 star as well! We grabbed some overnight oats as well for breakfast the next day. They were good - I'd definitely recommend the berries over the apple cinnamon one! Were this place a little closer to my house, it might well be a daily juice stop for me. As it is, it's pretty terrific: loads of healthy juice options, and indeed the biggest issue I had on my stop here this week was how much to try. The service was efficient and uber friendly, and the great litany of choices available made for some fun experimentation. It's not particularly spacious in here, so expect that it may feel regularly crowded, but the goods you get are so, well, great, that you might just forget that you have your elbow in someone else's business for a minute. This place used to be called Daily Juice. As far as I can tell, aside from the menu change, I can't tell much difference. When I need a jolt of vitamin C, I go to this place. The smoothies are the freshest and best in town. I don't do the shots, nor do I go with the various add-ons they offer. I simply go for the fruit smoothies. I do mix-n-match my own. Sometimes I go for the Berry Godmother. It is not cheap. I have spent almost $20 for two large smoothies. But they are so worth it. read more

My addiction to Juiceland started about a year ago when I discovered it as a great stop after my run on tow lake. Back then they had a drink called the "tesla" they no longer carry it but Julio verde and the hulk are my current addiction. Their Quinoa salad is so yummy too!!
