I love dim sum, so I was looking for a place nearby and happened to find this restaurant. I had no idea it would turn out to be such a hidden gem! Everything I ordered was delicious, and I was very happy with every dish. The staff were friendly, the food came out quickly, and the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The menu is authentic rather than fusion, but I think it's still very approachable for people who aren't familiar with this type of cuisine. I definitely recommend giving this place a try! read more

Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I was hearing news that it is the next dumpling spot, and I was not disappointed. I dined in with my family and we loaded up on the juicy pork dumplings, spicy wontons, beef roll, Dan Dan noodles, green beans, and the orange chicken. The food all around was delicious. The soup dumplings were very moist and filled with soup. The green beans too were so yummy and filled with that garlicky flavor without being too oily. The staff was great and very attentive, watching our tables if we ever needed anything or any help. It's a well lit restaurant and not stuffy. I live down the street and Been here now multiple times. Better flavor than din tai fung with better service and prices. This used to be another Asian restaurant before and i am so glad it is what it is now. All the classics are here and super authentic. Ambiance is spread out and clean. The inside of this restaurant is really beautiful. Warm and welcoming and we were greeted as soon as we walked in . Our server was nice and asked us if we needed help ordering and even made a few suggestions. We ordered the beef roll, very delicious light and herbaceous . Popcorn chicken was light and crispy and seasoned very nicely . We also ordered the orange chicken I really actually enjoyed it and all the pieces were juicy and packed full of flavor. I am surprised by some of the lower reviews! I came here with my husband and really enjoyed our meal! The dumplings were of high quality and the filling was generous and flavorful. My favorite was the pan fried dumplings with shrimp and pork! The soup dumplings had a lot of soup and the spicy wontons has a nice flavorful sauce. I really loved the beef rolls which were packed with beef, cucumber, scallions and sauce! We also enjoyed the shrimp fried rice. The Dan Dan noodles were nicely coated. The only dish that I would probably order instead is the Taiwanese popcorn chicken instead of the diced chicken in chili and pepper. This is not quite D.T.F but for just being able to walk in and get way more food for your money, I would recommend it! The food is good and you get large portions. I tried the shrimp and pork wontons, orange chicken, shrimp chow mein , and beef with scallions . I liked all the dishes. The servers came often to check on our table. We came shortly after it opened on a Sunday so we walked straight into to our booth. My soda was flat so I had to get it swapped. But the food itself was good. It was not very loud in the restaurant and the kitchen was separated from the dining. There was lots of parking. Located in shopping center. Not quite DTF but a close less expensive, less wait alternative. read more

The food here was amazing. The parking was plentiful. But, the service was just okay. I came here on Sunday and it was open seating. No one greeted us so I put my name down on the wait list using their tablet by the front door which had one other party ahead of us. After that, my group patiently took a seat while waiting to be helped. Another group comes in and gets immediately greeted and sat down. I stood up and waited for the same type of attention and it took some time before even being acknowledged. After being seated, I looked through the menu and couldn't decide what to order since there were so many intriguing options. I settled on the Beef Wrap, Dan Dan Noodles, Juicy Chicken Dumplings, Juicy Pork Dumplings, and String Beans. All of the items did not disappoint. The food came out at a good temperature and just as delicious as they looked in pictures. They gave us a pitcher of water which was great so we didn't have to keep asking for more water since their cups were fairly small. The waitress that helped us did not smile at us once and gave minimal eye contact, but even then I'd still come back here because they know how to make their food. read more

This one hurts a little, because Juicy Dumpling Factory went from a go to spot for me to a maybe not coming back place in about a month. Service was very nice. Sam helped me and she was kind and welcoming. That part was not the problem at all. The issue is the menu change. I absolutely loved their teriyaki chicken. It was the best teriyaki chicken I have had. When I walked in, they told me they no longer serve it. I asked Sam if she was sure and she said yes. I asked her to double check and she came back and said they took it off the menu three days ago. I honestly thought about leaving, because that teriyaki was the main reason I came. I decided to stay and I ordered orange chicken and the cucumber salad. The food was solid. The cucumber salad was good, the orange chicken was fine, but it just was not the same without my go to dish. The staff are friendly and the food is still okay, but without the teriyaki I do not know if I will be back as often, if at all. In my mind this visit is about three and a half stars. On here I am giving Juicy Dumpling Factory 3.5 stars. read more

The food had good flavor and was pretty good, although a but pricey for what we received (smaller portions/ sizes and the amount of beef short ribs in a tiny plate). Even the salad was a bit expensive given that it was just cucumber ($7.5). It would have been fine if the flavor was out of this world but not quite. Unfortunately, we came to dine here for my birthday this Saturday when visiting a friend. They seemed fairly busy so we had a minor wait by adding our names to the tablet. However, this is where the issues began. As they went down the list, we were wondering if they had called us. Apparently, they had but it was so soft we could barely here it until one of the works claimed to have called us 3 times at this point. No biggie. So they sit us in the very back, bring us the share plates, and water cups......with no water pitcher. After 2 minutes of being seated and not even having a chance to settle in, we are asked if we are ready to order. When I asked for a few moments for us to finish revising the menu, she seemed annoyed. More so, I asked for water.... You know for the water cups they gave us? Ironically, based on our location, I could see many tables sat and noticed that upon seating their parties received the pitcher but we had to ask for it. Anyway, food (while not pictured) was delicious and came out relatively fast. The green beans where crunchy and savory while the Don Don noodles where hearty with a nice heat. This meat roll was also tasty. However, as food came out, I had ordered a Sapporo. When one of the workers brought it out and opened it table side, some splashed on the table. Tried not to mind but what definitely bother me was when she wiped it with her hand! As if using a towel is outdated or anything, I was shocked. She didn't even get anything rather just smear it over the table. Her whole demeanor was horrid and unwelcoming. I've worked restaurants for years but that's not attitude given it's a tip based system. To be honest, it seemed like other tables we're enjoying themselves and the ambiance seems nice. However, we did not enjoy the service, attitude, and lack of checking in. We had to raise our hand to request more food and got checked in on once. Overall, super disappointing, especially for the occasion and the fact my friend rated this place highly. If visiting, hope to give them another chance and for there to be better service. read more

Why don't they have the golden beef noodle soup at this location? Nah, but came to this location after loving the Huntington Beach location down the street from me, and since I was in the area for pickleball, we wanted to try it out. This location is way bigger than the Huntington one, and there was no wait. Servers were great, and overall food was good. We got the cucumber salad, pork XLB, spicy wontons, braised beef noodle soup, chicken chow mein, but were sooooo sad the golden beef noodle soup wasn't served at this location, because it is my favorite by far. Nonetheless, rest of the food was amazing, maybe minus the spicy wontons since they weren't spicy that day. Will be back and again, hope they bring the golden soup over. read more

I love the cypress location and visit there often, so was so thrilled they opened one closer to my home. I didn't get to eat there, so will update this review when I do. I ordered Garlic short ribs - my favorite here and in cypress. Made the same and goes really well with rice. Broccoli - good portion and not overly garlicky Mushroom - it didn't look like a lot from a portion standpoint, but it was good and I combined the mushroom and broccoli dish. Fried tofu - it was good, but I was a little disappointed it wasn't the small cut fried tofu in the pictures it was the bigger cut tofu with the sauce on top.
