Hubby's Tacos al Carbon was delicious. Great marinade! Tip: If you like mole, but don't want enchiladas, just ask them to sub Mole for the sauce on any of the chicken plates. I had a side and it was delicious! If I could give it 3.5 stars, I would. For the most part, it met my expectations, just a few things keep me from giving them 4. But - we will be back. :)

Check your bill before paying, ours rang up at a higher price on the bill. They corrected it after we asked about it. But we had to show them the menu to prove our point. Overall, this place has potential. After so many good reviews maybe cost have been cut? They need to do better. Plenty of great restaurants in the area. I got as finishing at least half the ramen (chashu, corn, seaweed and green onions as well as a couple of bites of the noodles). MAYBE I will come back some time later in the future should my patient roster bring me back this way.. but for now.. I would rate this place as more of a maybe than an actual foodie destination.

First impressions were positive. The restaurant was clean, pleasant, and the staff were polite and attentive. Unfortunately, that's where the experience peaked. The menu itself is surprisingly thick and heavy, which gave us the impression there would be plenty of options. Instead, it felt like a lot of pages dedicated to not a lot of choices. After ordering, we waited somewhere between 30 and 45 minutes before the first entrée arrived. I ordered the ribeye, cooked medium rare. It was decent enough, but certainly not memorable, especially at the price point. My wife ordered the salmon, which managed to achieve a level of dryness usually reserved for desert climates. The real star of the show, however, was the vegetables and not in a good way. If you're looking to dramatically increase your sodium intake, you've come to the right place. The vegetables were overcooked, soggy, and so aggressively salted that I briefly wondered if the chef had sourced the water directly from the Dead Sea. Every bite felt like a challenge to my blood pressure. We also ordered the Combo Stir Fry Udon. The noodles were perfectly edible, but the accompanying vegetables suffered the same fate: limp, overcooked, and swimming in what tasted like concentrated seawater. In the end, the biggest issue is the disconnect between price and quality. The restaurant presents itself as a premium dining experience, but the food simply doesn't justify the cost. Clean restaurant, courteous staff, average entrées, and vegetables that could preserve a mummy. Sadly, not a place I'd rush back to for another birthday.

My family and I constantly go to Julio's and love it so I decided to finally give it a review. First off I'm gonna say, great staff. Yesterday we went and it was packed. We went at around 7pm and there was a waiting list, but luckily we got sat pretty quickly. As packed as it was yesterday, the two bussers working were awesome, constantly refilling our chips and drinks, Arnulfo and Eric were great. We got sat down with Jorge yesterday, and let me say, he is probably the funniest and most attentive waiter I've ever seen. If we can we always try and sit with him because he is absolutely the best. The food was good too, only thing I could kind of gripe about though is that the beans and rice that came with my Fajitas were just a little bit cold. But other than that, if you're ever in the Tomball area, Julio's is a great place to eat. read more

There are only a few Mexican restaurants we like in the Houston area, and Julio's is definitely in the top 10. Their prices are reasonable, and we like the margaritas. This is a nice restaurant with a family atmosphere and a good basic Tex-Mex menu. The wait staff is very attentive to what they think are your wishes. They are normally on top of you at the start, and will fill your order quickly if you are in a hurry, but will let you enjoy a leisure dinner if that is your wish. They are getting more popular of late so you may wait a bit, but they are worth it. The patio is really nice now that spring is here with a relaxing ambiance. We can spend hours there in a nice cool day with the margaritas and chips watching the birds and the geckos. read more

We stop in to try this place out. We waited 30 minutes then was told we was next on the list. So we waited and waited for another 30 minutes. We asked again why are we not being seated. Their was at least 4 tables empty. The manager told that they decided to close down because the kitchen could not keep up. Will not be back. read more

It's one of my all time favorite meals, and it was just as flavorful and comforting as I remembered. I'm beyond excited to know I can enjoy one of my favorite restaurants anytime without making the drive across town. If you're in the area, definitely give this place a try!

I was shocked though that rice did not come on the side but it didn't kill it for since it was flavored well. Complimentary chips, salsa and ice cream.

Until last night my service dog was always welcomed…read more We went for a family event my nieces new book release, I was denied service because I had my service dog with me! Apparently the manager was off and the staff is not ADA trained. The way the server was I will never give this establishment my hard money again! My Rights were violated. I hope they read this and get the staff properly trained because THIS IS NOT OK!
