    Boho baby shower cookies!
    Ann A.

Tanya made the cutest cookies for my boho-themed baby shower and they tasted just as amazing as they looked ! They're so cute!! Everyone loved them. Highly recommend!

Tanya did such an incredible job on the custom made Brawl Stars cookies for my son's birthday party. She was able to recreate some of my son's favorite characters with great detail and color. Not only did the cookies look great, they were also delicious! I also appreciated the clear communication when placing the order and will definitely order from Jungle Bakes again!

    Lucy's Psychiatric Booth

Tanya's custom cookies are the best in the west and beyond! I provided a "Lucy" pin (see image below) and Tanya re-created Lucy's Psychiatric Booth with incredible artistry. Not a detail missing...even the tiny nails on the booth! The brown butter cookie and ratio of vanilla royal icing were balanced to perfection. Thank you so so much Tanya! Your custom cookies added a significant and meaningful element to my Mother's memorial event.

Tanya and her cookies were amaaazing!! She made cookies for my sister's baby shower, and everyone could not stop talking about them! The ordering process was smooth and easy, and Tanya made sure she knew what we wanted to be on the cookies. She was so accommodating, and they turned out beautifully!! Would definitely order again :)

Jungle Bakes absolutely nailed their Pride cookie for our June Progress Pride Flag event. Tanya was so incredible at helping with our order and delivered way more than we ever expected. The cookies were vibrant, delicious, and beautifully decorated and customized with the Progress Pride Flag as we requested. Importantly, the cookies were perfectly soft and flavorful, making each bite a joyful celebration. It's clear they put love and care into both the design and taste. Jungle Bakes was professional and very helpful with our order! Will definitely order with her again!

This review is way overdue since my daughter's second birthday was in June but better late than never, right? I was so excited that Tanya was available for our date as her gallery and reviews were extremely impressive. I had had a bad experience mail ordering cookies from someone else for my daughter's first birthday and we were really unsure about the party theme this time around, which meant I provided very minimal and not very thought through info/ideas to Tanya. All to say, I wasn't sure how my order would turn out. Somehow she took my unhelpful guidance and executed the most beautiful and perfect cookies. They were a huge hit both for design and flavor. 10/10, can't wait to work with her again for future parties/events.

I ordered Winnie the Pooh theme cookies for my baby shower and they not only looked amazing, they also were delicious! Everyone loved them, highly recommend!

Tonya was so friendly during our gingerbread house making activity. The cookies she baked were delicious too

Tanya was great to work with ! She brought my idea to life with the custom cookies she made for my bao and dumpling themed baby shower. They were a hit! I would absolutely order from her again!

Tanya is a pleasure to work with, she is kind and patient. She is an amazing artist and very detailed in her designs. Ordering and pick up are very easy! Can't wait for our next round of cookies!!

Tanya is so incredibly talented and brought my vision to life. Every detail was executed flawlessly and you just know these were made with love. These were the perfect addition to my Winnie the Pooh-themed Baby Shower and "oh boy" were they as yummy as they were cute. Every guest was so impressed, they took several designs home with them. I was so glad I saved a set for myself before they were all gone! Hope I can preserve them into Christmas ornaments and as a keepsake because they're just SO adorable. Thanks again for the best cookies I could ever ask for and you bet I'll be asking for more for our next event. Love, the happiest Mommy & Daddy to Bee!

The cookies were so good! Tanya's super talented and was able to come up with some incredible designs. The cookies were gorgeous, decorated so well, and so tasty!

    Lisa Frank cookie set

I've commissioned cookie orders from Jungle Bakes twice now, and both times I have been completely blown away! My first order was Lisa Frank themed, and the second order was for my '90s birthday party. The designs that Tanya came up with for both orders were absolutely incredible!!!! The Lisa Frank set was so accurate that it made me concerned about copyright infringement. The '90s set impressed me just as much and it really showcased Tanya's creative chops. Tanya has both culinary training and an art background, and you can TELL. Her work is incredibly precise and meticulously designed down to the tiniest details. You can see how hard she has worked on every single cookie to make it perfect. And the best part? The cookies even taste good! The quality of the cookie is of paramount importance at Jungle Bakes. Pro tip: get the brown butter flavor. Tanya was so communicative and collaborative throughout the whole ordering process. Her initial order form gives you lots of space to describe your vision. Then, she gets to work on creating a unified design scheme for your cookie set, and together you discuss what will and won't work and then finalize the designs. She's so thoughtful and very receptive to your ideas, although she does get final artistic say (and you should let her have it). She can produce exactly what you're looking for, even if you're like me and give her some pretty, um, abstract ideas to work with... Never fear, she can do it. She can even ship your cookies across the country and they will be packed so well that they will arrive in perfect shape. So go get yourself some cookies from Jungle Bakes! Doesn't matter if it's for a special occasion or just for fun! They are worth every penny and you will love them!

I've only ordered to-go through someone, so I can't speak for ambiance but it's an extremely busy lot, so if you live near & want to enjoy in the comfort of your own home, it may be best to plan ahead, bring ice box, take multiple ppl so one can order/pick up & other can stay in the car if there's no parking. We've tried the mango stinky rice sundae (must order), Thai tea lemonade- basically cha manaow (can skip), mango sticky rice drink (pretty good if you're looking for drink version of the sundae but can be off putting texture to some), Thai tea shaved ice (melted so fast so wasn't very enjoyable), pandan toast (a lil dry but good w gelato), & gelatos: mango (good staple), coconut milk butterfly pea (yummy/creamy perfect w mango sorbet), jasmine matcha (good choice), pandan milk (strong flavor creamy yummy), earl grey Thai tea (top 3), hojicha crunch (#1), & Thai tea coffee (eh ok just coffee). All the gelatos were shining stars it just depends on preference; very thick, flavorful, & creamy. I've tried 3x in the past 2 months but will be back for more~

The pictures don't lie. It's got that clean, modern coffee shop aesthetic, but a few quirky touches keep it from feeling like every other minimalist café. Neither of us usually orders einspanners, but my wife got the vanilla and I ordered the mocha, both iced with oat milk. They were excellent. Creamy and rich and the coffee underneath was tasty even before mixing in the cream. The pastries looked beautiful and artful, although I was hoping for something simple like an almond croissant. The vibe outside on the patio was great. Lots of people working on laptops, plenty of room to settle in, and it felt more like a co-working space than a typical coffee shop. It's also super dog-friendly, has ample parking in its own lot and we even found easy street parking out front. Everything about this place just worked. We'll gladly make the 25-minute drive again.

I'm from the Bay Area but I've been to Cafe Dulce several times. My wife and I really like their Hong Kong Tea Latte and their Matcha drink, as well as their various donuts and baked goods. In the morning rush they can be a little busy but the staff work hard. On a recent visit I saw people eating their steak breakfast burritos, so I ordered one for myself and a coworker. The burritos were reasonable size, the steak was seasoned well, and the breakfast burrito had potatoes in it (I only like breakfast burritos that have potatoes/hash browns/tots in it). Mochi Twist ($5)-- Nice and dense mochi texture? I guess it's hard to describe but it's not hollow and airy like a typical donut. There's some chew to it. And it's not too sweet! Blueberry Roti ($4)-- Flaky crumble on top and blueberry jam?? YES YESSSS. I liked this so much I'd definitely go back for it. Blueberry jam is so underrated and it's rare to find it in a pastry! Makes for a good sweet lil treat. Hot latte ($5)-- Perfect!! No complaints. Not too milky, not too light. Good ratio. I was actually kind of worried ordering a latte because not every place does it right but it's good here! Iced blueberry matcha ($6?)-- I see lots of good things about this drink on here but ooooooof... it missed the mark and by a LOOOT too. It was green sweet cereal milk. Where's the matcha? Where's the blueberry? It was so confusing because I see the green and I know I ordered matcha... but it's just sweet milk! And it's not even blueberry flavored milk. Did they forget the blueberry jam? Syrup? Whatever they use? Because it just tastes like the milk after a bowl of Frosted Flakes or something like that. Very sad, very disappointing. Ended up tossing after a couple sips. ANDDD for those matcha purists this is NOOOT the place for you! They have it pre mixed in a milk gallon. So we just saw green milk coming out of a gallon into this cup like yeppppp ok expectations immediately lowered. Anyways, hot latte is good and the 2 pastries I got were good! The pistachio added more texture to it for sure. Same as any Levain cookies, best enjoyed warm and fresh out of oven. For starters, the chocolate shell was soft and lacked the crispness of properly tempered chocolate. Either that, or it had started melting due to improper temperature regulation in the case. The fresh mango was overripe and had no texture; the mousse was similarly made of overripe mango and was room temperature. The praline was not made properly, and had zero structure. I don't really understand how all of these things can be true when it appears as though the pastries are sitting in a refrigerated case. What a waste of mango. Interior was standard, no decorations.
