I took my car to Junior's 2x and Sean gave me amazing service and my car is running wonderfully.

After reading recent reviews of Junior's Auto Repair, I thought I'd chime in just a little. After all, Yelp is here to help everyday people help each other not to make the wrong choices. I won't get into details, but what's making me put this review up now is that after reading some recent reviews, these guys have not gotten any better than all the wrong things they were doing a few years ago when I was basically tricked into thinking these guys were good mechanics. At first, they seemed very nice, friendly and knowledgeable. It was only after taking my car there a few times for repairs that everything started to go wrong. Charging full price for repairs that, only to find out too late, was mended with zip ties, and certain parts not even replaced with new ones like they said it would be. There was a point when I wanted to go back to complain to them and demand my money back. But I didn't do this because I thought I had wasted enough time and money with these guys and didn't want to waste any more. There are plenty of auto repair shops in Brooklyn who are way more honest and better at what they do than Junior's. Don't make the mistake I made and don't waste your money and time with these guys. All the good reviews on here about them, only time will tell, and double, triple check everything they said they did. Go get it the work done looked at by another mechanic. That was one of the first ways I found out that the work being done to my car was bogus. read more

It's so hard to find a mechanic you can trust nowadays, but I was so fortunate to be referred to Junior's Auto. I went to my regular mechanic because my check engine light was on. They told me the job would cost hundreds of dollars. However when I went to Junior's, they told me it was just a fuel cap issue and sent me on my way for a mere fraction of the price. The manager, Sean, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and everyone was so nice. They even invited me to a Women's car care workshop to learn more about how to take care of my car. Junior's is one of the best auto repair shops in Brooklyn. I was driving a friend's car and I had made a mistake with the gears so the check engine light went on. Without waiting more than 5 minutes the mechanic took the car on a test ride with me and realized it was just a simple error I was making. He didn't charge me anything for it. Many mechanics would have tried to take advantage that I knew nothing about cars and was a woman and charged me for something I did not really need. Juniors was honest, respectful, quick, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend it. read more

Reasonable prices, they are mechanics not just a garage that fits new parts. They find the problem, fix the problem sometimes because I have a very unusual imported vehicle actually locate a part that will work and make it work.....did I mention reasonable prices and a great bunch of family guys. read more

This place is great!! I'm a woman and ashamed to say I know little to nothing about cars. My Acura RDX was behaving strangely ( shutting down at random times). I talked to Sean and he said he was worried about a transmission problem, but that he had never heard of that happening with an RDX with only 55,000 miles ( honesty,....interesting concept at an auto mechanic). He took the car for a day and if he had told me I needed a new transmission, I would have paid, but he said it needed a service in a desperate way. 250$ later, I'm good to go. I've brought it back for minor things and they have not even charged me !! They have my loyalty!!! A trustworthy mechanic that is honest AND competent... Priceless. read more

100% satisfaction. Welcoming, Friendly, and Honest. Went to (4) shops previously with horrible, terrifying results which cost thousands. My car is still covered under warranty and to no avail the big BMW shops could not resist stealing my money and left me out in the cold with a 11,000$ repair. I could not afford such a big repair so I went to Juniors for a second opinion. Let me tell you, the ray of light at the end of the storm. I was afraid at first knowing how the other "Big BMW" shops operate, but when I met Sean it was an instant relief. He treated me like a good friend along with the other shop mechanics going about there business. Also very honest about repairs, cost and is willing to help you and guide you in the right direction. Would recommend this shop to anybody looking to avoid being taken on a expensive ride. I look forward to going back to this shop with any repairs or concerns. Everyone we interacted with was very helpful and easygoing. They replaced a window on my car in a timely manner and didn't pressure us to pick up the car immediately when it didn't work with our schedule (we only waited an extra day or so). We got the oil changed too for a fair price and they gave us some good quotes on other work that isn't necessary right now so we're holding off. It can be hard to find an auto shop that does good work for decent prices and has pleasant staff that won't pressure you into paying for things you don't need. Will definitely return to Junior's anytime I have an issue with my car again. read more

Sean will be my go-to mechanic for all auto needs for my 2006 Acura! I'm so thankful I've found him! He's so smart & knowledgeable & honest & a great mechanic! My 2006 Acura TL kept going dead & I couldn't figure out what was killing the battery, after countless auto shops & mechanics & money, I found Sean at Junior's. He did a parasitic drain test on my Acura & got to the bottom of the issue & solved it!!!! My Acura also needed both a new timing belt & drive belt & he did the job! He did such a good job & thoroughly explained everything. Service was completed in a timely manner. His shop is clean & organized. He is genuine & an auto mechanic gem! All the certificates on his office walls speaks volume! He seems like an all-around great guy & God has definitely blessed him not only with good looks, but a great mind & skills in the auto mechanical field! I will never take my car anywhere else again! Beware of these people they are thiefs. Especially the owner SEAN-- and if you are a woman DO NOT go in there alone he will take advantage of you. I brought my car there b4 so I thought I could trust them. I took my car there a 2nd time and SEAN says I needed an AC COMPRESSOR ....he says it gonna be about 600.00 for everything. Well when I finally get there he tells me no it will be $750.00. Then he tells me to do my research if I want. I dropped of my car (trusting his word) and just out of curiosity I called around to several shops. I received several quotes between the range of $350.00 and $500.00 ..Even the top of the line Compressor by DENSO costs a little under 300...(and we know auto shops get these parts for 1/2 of the retail price which was $279.00) so what was the other 400 for ? I called SEAN BACK about 1& 1/2 HOURS LATER to inform him that I have done the research and changed my mind. He tells me he already did it ( really in an 1 hour an a half?) ....also included in this price was a tune up which he was charging $75.00 for. So again even with that what is the extra $325.00 for ? Then he tells me he charges $225.00 for the labor so again what is the extra $100 dollars for? So now I was stuck because he claimed he finished the job already. Let's get to the bill. When I pick up my car the receipt says $750.00 NO BREAK DOWN OR EXPLANATION OR ITEMIZATION OF THE DETAILS. It also listed that he worked on the car for 7.5 hours but yet when I called to inform him that I changed my mind he claimed he finished it within that 1 &1/2 hour time frame....I never write reviews but I really felt the need to EXPOSE THIS CROOK!! none of this is adding up. read more
