Was very impressed by this KBBQ place! Parking lot is free for lunch but they start charging in the afternoon. We went on a Sunday and everything tasted fresh, all the meats were good quality and there was an abundance of sides to wrap our food with. The price is very reasonable for the amount of food you get too! This has become one of my top KBBQ places, especially because they provide perilla leaves. I usually find the side meals to be very mid but here the spicy rice cakes were so addicting and the steamed egg has so much flavor! I also couldn't get enough of the green onion salad. We also got Kteam galbi which was insane with the butter and the ribeye brisket. I loved all the pork we ordered (pork neck, pork jowl), you probably can't go wrong here.

The pork belly KBBQ was really good, flavorful and well cooked. I also loved the variety of side dishes, and the kimchi fried rice was delicious and satisfying. The service could be better,we had to get the waiter's attention a couple of times, which took away a bit from the overall experience, but the food itself makes it worth trying.

Finally got around to trying this place after it was heavily recommended by some friends and I think I've found my new favorite kbbq spot. Although it is a bit of a trek to get to ktown, I think if anything brings us in the area, we will be torn between here and Han Baht. (Yes, it's that good). First, service is insane. The most attentive servers that really check your table to see if anything needs topping up before you have to ask. They also cook the food for you. Meat quality is good but everything that it comes with is even more impressive (see pictures). We also added a Kimchi stew, foolishly thinking we might need more food, it was probably the best Kimchi stew we've had in a while! Mind you, we came for lunch on a Saturday and were one of two tables. Valet parking for $3 (cash only).

Much more intimate than Parks across the street and yes they do cook for you too. I would suggest making reservations at least a day ahead if you want to eat here. It's usually crowded and getting a table for four can be difficult. The quality and service is exceptional. The kimchi fried rice (see pictures) was my favorite and was as good as it looks. Parking is impossible unless you valet or get lucky on the street.

I've been looking for a new KBBQ place to take my family and I came across this online. I saw someone posted a photo of the checker pattern tables and I thought it was different from other KBBQ place. I called and surprisingly they take reservation! I was so happy because I hate waiting in line. Imagine waiting on a Friday for dinner. It was for a party of 4 and I arrived 20 mins early . They were able to seat us right away. The menu is simple and easy to read. Here's what we got for the table: Steamed egg Spicy rice cake Beef tongue Beef brisket Thin frozen pork belly x 2 Spicy acorn noodle Kimchi fried rice Terra x 2 Diet Coke Service was great! The ladies are so nice and they cook for you. Looking around I think this restaurant is best for a group of 4 or a group of 6. I loved everything we ate here and if I did not mention this already, it is not AYCE. I miss having potato as a side dish and would have loved to see it offered here. They do offer more condiments than other places and my family wants to go back again next week. Parking was not difficult since it's valet. I believe it was $3, very reasonable.

This place is great for non ayce kbbq. The atmosphere is lively. It's loud but not loud enough to where you can't converse with your friends and the servers and service is very good and easy to get ahold of. Almost all the meats we got were excellent. The only one we were ok with was the short rib. The pork jowl was amazing. Same for the beef tongue and brisket. The pork belly was also very flavorful! The banchan was pretty good though it seemed to be missing a few of what I'm use to. However the banchan itself was very high quality. At the end you can ask for the fried rice with egg after the grilling is done and all that's left is veggies. The steamed egg and kimchi Jjigae is a must for sides. This place takes reservations thankfully. Parking is going to be valet only unless you find street parking which is a whole mission in and of itself. Pricing wise. I didn't end up spending more than 60 surprisingly when with alcohol and a large group. Highly recommend this place for high quality mid-range kbbq.

been here two times and both times were fire! Love the small menu and top quality meat. Banchan is really good too. I've come here with a party of 8 both times and service was great and attentive. Place feels clean and well kept. Will definitely be back

Very high quality meats for a slightly more affordable price, they are affiliated with Parks BBQ which is my favorite spot in all of LA. Really enjoyed the steamed egg, ssam spread, and the grilled kimchi and banchan that accompanied our order. They have Parks Beer here too, which we loved at Parks BBQ, and is definitely a must try. The vibes were young and clean and nice, and I'd definitely come again.

This was our first time here, and we enjoyed it! The vibe is casual and welcoming. We ordered a variety of meats, including both thin and thick cuts of pork, as well as skirt meat. The quality of meat did not disappoint. I appreciated that they brought out different types of kimchi to cook alongside the meat. They provided ssam (assorted lettuce, perilla leaves, and my favorite, rice cakes) which was a nice touch. We also ordered dwaenjangjjigae, which was flavorful. As complimentary service, they gave us ddukbokki and gaeranjjim (thank you, K team BBQ!). The ddukbokki was surprisingly good, with a kick of spice and a peppery flavor. To top it off, we ordered bokeumbap with the left over pork oil and it tasted great with the rice being crispy on the bottom. I think our family has found our new go-to Korean BBQ place. Overall, I'd rate food as a 4.3, but because of service I'm rounding it to 5!!

We come to K Team BBQ all the time, and our must-orders never change: the flash-frozen pork belly and the pork jowl (pre-grilled), plus the minari veggie platter. It's our go-to combo every time. They always start you off with steamed egg and tteokbokki, and honestly the tteokbokki is so good. I also love how they grill the green onion kimchi together with the meat--perfect pairing. And if you wrap the meat with minari, the aroma is amazing. At the end, they grill the potatoes from the veggie platter on the hot plate. Lots of black pepper, super flavorful--wanted to eat more but we were already too full. We still need to come back just to try the kimchi fried rice and noodles because we never have space left. Finished the meal with the Korean-style ice cream for dessert. Perfect ending.

everything about this meal and bbq place was so good. we tried the brisket, marinated boneless short rib and bone-in short rib and they were all delicious. the short rib was served w a garlic butter sauce on the side that was so good. the banchan were all great too, all of the classics done so well and i love how it included raw garlic and the green onion salad. the meat order also came either tteok bokki and a steamed egg. the kimchi jjigae was a generous portion and delicious too. the servers were so attentive and nice, they cooked everything for us too. parking was also very convenient, $3 cash or $4 venmo/zelle valet.

We were able to order in the line, and got our food within 10 minutes once we finally sat down. I tried their handmade clam kalgusku soup and beef bulgogi. Both portions were generous. The kalguksu was incredible comforting, with chewy, long, freshly made noodles in a rich, savory broth that was packed with clams. The beef bulgogi was also delicious. It came with a side of salad and rice. The bulgogi was tender, well-merinated, and paired well together with the sides. The bossam was amazing! The best we've tasted. We all loved the perilla seed kalguksu due to its taste and also bc it's so healthy for you. The owner came by to check how we liked the galbi kalguksu since it was a newly created dish and we told her that it was delicious, seasoned just right. Before the meal, as they brought out the side dishes, they brought out barley rice with denjang on top to mix with yeol-moo kimchi. That was a special touch. We absolutely loved the food there. I really wanted authentic Korean food that was not kbbq and not tofu and this place delivered! This restaurant is in a small strip mall. The strip mall has other Korean food options. They have a valet parking system of sorts but we didn't pay, we self parked. The attendant told us we were fine. It was approx 9pm when we arrived and also a week night. I have no idea how much valet parking is here. We were a small party of two. Upon arrival, we were notified they were out of RICE. Um..what?? That's a good problem (for them to have) but not for consumers. I feel this really limited our options to just soup. I honestly didn't want soup but there wasn't much else we could order. If you're searching for some of the city's best pork, then those in the know will bring up Ham Ji Park. For 2 decades, generous platters of pork ribs and pork neck stew decked every table. Now, our Korean friends lament the loss of their favorite pork joint in the city. The Koreatown proper location is located in the Royal Plaza mini-mall, just a few blocks off bustling Wilshire. Discounted parking is available in a lot across the street from the Chevron gas station. From the street, the entrance is flanked by potted plants and an enclosed street-ery. Inside, stainless steel chairs are pressed up against wooden tables, each outfitted with a metal grill. Oppressive fluorescent lighting shines down on the stone grey walls, which are left undecorated apart from a few flatscreens. Multi-lingual chatter blends with the sizzle of platters. I visited with some friends for a weeknight dinner, and about half of the tables were occupied. We shared a spread of grilled platters and sizzling soups. The meal began with a carafe of barley tea and a mostly standard spread of banchan. Across our food, the best dish was the signature Charbroiled Pork Spare Rib. The ribs were flavorful without feeling gamey, and the meat was complemented by sweet caramelized onions. The pork ribs handily outdid the good-not-great Charbroiled Beef Short Rib. Lastly, the Milt and Cod Rose with Vegetables stew was fishy and briny, appropriately flavored for the Korean palate. The service was appropriately attentive, although I would've appreciated more intentional refills of our banchan ramikens. The rib plates cost upward of $35 each, while the soup was just under $30. The portions were hearty; a single entree platter could reasonably feed 2 moderately hungry bellies. It's a shame to hear that Ham Ji Park has closed; I'm kicking myself for not trying their pork neck stew earlier.
