The best Mediterranean food in San Antonio. Period. Chicken tikka is always good and their briyani rice.

This is a wonderful middle eastern grill. They start you off with a huge flatbread which is delicious. I tend to order chicken schwarma or gyros when I eat here. I order the sandwich, because the dinner pate with the same ingredients is HUGE. The staff is attentive and the food is delicious! It is worth a drive to have a great meal! read more

Great food. I have been going every time I come to SA. I have probably been there 5 times in the last year. All of the items I have ordered are delicious. The shawermas and tikkas are hard to beat. This last time (Jan 2020), I ordered several things I have ordered in the past, and noticed the prices had gone up about 20-25% at checkout. The lamb chops went from 19.99 to 24.99. Wow! This place is one of my favorite Mediterranean restaurants in San Antonio. I'm not a fan of seasoned fries and appreciate that the staff took it off my bill. The restaurant is very clean, the staff is welcoming, and the food is freajly made. And if you want to smoke a hookah, they have a more laid back area next door at Shisha. read more

Overpriced menu items and a Houdini server named Trinity who makes herself disappear. I got two kefta kebabs with a cup of rice and a tomato for my entree, one smoothie for my daughter, diet pepsi, freshly squeezed orange juice to go for the wife with biryani rice, lebneh, toom, stuffed grape leaves, arabic salad and bread. 82 dollars???!!! And I wish i can say I had pleasant service but that department was lacking. She was stacking silverware in her hands which someone was already preparing and acted like all tables were attended to and that for some reason silverware was the place to be. I also received my entree before my mezze plates and I chased her down to get my diet pepsi refill, to go containers and check. Trinity disappears more than the movie "Matrix". Wow!! This is a gem and delicious. The previous reviews were true to life! We had the dipping platter as an app and the lamb chops with the biryani rice. We ordered the lamb chops medium rare. I tried this place for the first time yesterday evening and was pretty excited as I was taking my food home. Unfortunately someone in the kitchen is shedding pretty badly. I found about three pieces of hair in my two orders. I completely lost my appetite after that. I called to just inform them about it after I had only found the first piece and I told them it's not a big deal but just informing you that someone is not wearing a hair net. However when I went back to eating my meal I found two more pieces of hair and I just had to leave a review about it :( I hope the owner can read this and make strict rules about wearing hair nets. read more

The restaurant's food and staff were amazing. I had the hummus as an appetizer, mint tea, and chicken and beef kebab with biryani rice as the main course. The large bread served with the hummus was freshly made and reminded me of when I have traveled overseas. The tea was very nice. My main course was absolutely delicious. Our server was the funniest and sweetest woman. I can't wait to visit San Antonio again and eat at the restaurant again. We went for dinner, had a few entrees and some apps and the food was not bad--just not amazing. I do feel there are better Middle Eastern restaurants in the area and not sure we will come back. Have been to this place 2 times in the last week or so. This is a hidden jewel and my friends said the bread is better than pasha. The bread is always nice when it is fresh .I haven't been to pasha in the last few years so I cannot say anything about it. We tried the chicken shawarma wrap which was very nice, chicken combo was good, chicken tikka was amazing, mint lemonade was nice, banana blitz was ok. Overall experience worth your money. Actually they have biryani rice as well which I felt is better than some of the Indian restaurants in San Antonio. You can add it to your plate for an extra $1.29 which is a worth a try. read more

When I first arrived here with my family, there were tables that were not completely cleaned. There was a table that still had cleaning supplies, and the rest of the tables were taken. We sat in the party room for awhile until we were told we were not allowed to sit there. We were then seated somewhere else. The service was great, as well as the food. Although i would have liked to had dinned in, we were a little rushed so we had to order to go. Both of their kabib meats are great, but the their chicken kabob deffinitely stole the show in texture, flavor, and everything else in between. Ate here on work trip. Service was extremely slow, took 20 minutes to just get drinks and about an hour and a half to get food during lunch. People who came in after us were taken care of before we were and we were just a party of 5. Found out afterwards that the restaurant charged me $19.55 on my travel card for the meal when the meal was actually $13.55. I did not leave a tip on the receipt but left a cash tip of $4.00. I live in Austin and I had friends in town from Boston and we drove an hour and a half every day (they were here only 4 days) just to have their DELICIOUS KABAB!! And on our last day we tried their iraqi fish and it tasted AMAZING ! If you are looking for authentic food, you MUST try them ! Great spot for Mediterranean/ Arabic food. Consistently good almost every time. Their rotisserie chicken and chicken wings are delicious. Also tried the fattoush salad, surprisngly tangy and fun.
