How NOT to treat your customers - how UNwelcome we were made to feel Called and asked them about availability and if we needed to book, guy on phone was very nice and said to just come in, no reservation needed. We drove for about 30 minutes to get there only to be told (and not very politely) there was a private party and they couldn't seat us. Seriously, this was 30 minutes later!! Asked for manager, and they eventually did seat us, only to come and tell us five minutes later any order will be at least 30 minutes unless we sat in their hookah (read, SMOKEY) lounge. REALLY? Absolutely amazing! Everyone should experience this place at least once in their life! When entering the establishment it's spacious, clean and inviting. Today we tried Hummus and Falafel for appetizers. Hummus was on point with just the right touch of olive oil and a dash of sumac. The falafel was perfectly fried, crispy on the outside, warm and flavorful. I chose a mix plate of 1 Kofta Kabob and 1 Chicken Tikka with Biryani and the hubby chose a Beef Shawarma with Biryani plate. Deliciousness with the mix of seasonings and a hint of the smokiness from the grill! Perfectly cooked and seasoned chicken and the little side of garlic sauce that adds that special touch! People trust me when I say that you have to try this place the food is DELICIOUS and you will not be disappointed. Try one of their bubble teas or smoothies for that extra touch to your meal. (May I recommend the honeydew with tapioca bubble tea, it's a personal favorite!) A plus to all the goodness was our waitress Daria. She kept the drinks filled without having to ask and always came around to ask if we would like more warm hot bread. We never had to ask her for a thing! I have tried Middle eastern food in Dallas, Austin, Houston and San Antonio this is by far the best middle eastern food i have ever had. Must go for a chicken combo platter and chicken tikka sandwich. Their kababs are well marinated with pieces melting in mouth. Pita bread with garlic and sesame in olive oil is a great complimentary add on and goes great with kababs. Would definitely recommend for kabab lovers and would love to come back. read more

Best lamb i've had in years. Tender and flavorful. Sandwiches are rolled in pita. Lamb Tikka has tomato, onion, and pickles. Gyro was equally top notch. Had to take the baklava home. Too full. Will go back for dinner sometime soon! read more

Had the meat plate and a chicken plate. I believe the beef plate comes with lamb, and a kabob. Also had a chicken plate with the kabob and the Tikka. Fantastic on both. Flavor was great. Ignore the star rating. Very mediocre. Waitress knew nothing about the menu. Forgot to ask about sides, forgot about deserts we ordered. Brought 4 waters for a table of 5 people. Had to ask other waiter to help us with water refills and get utensils and napkins. Then the bill comes (bad waiters NEVER FORGET TO CHARGE ANYTHING), 12 items ordered all on there! 15% tip included but she wrote an additional line for "the tip". Food: taboulleh was 95% parsley but no seasoning or lemon. Hummus was all tahini, nan was cold {asked her for hot bread and she said"oh you want it warm?", chicken and beef kabobs tasted like salty congealed mush, desserts were sweet but flavorless (no rose or orange water or nutmeg/cinnamon hints at all). What a waste of 130$ for 5 people with only water to drink. Oh, and when she poured the water from the pitcher the spout touched everyone's water contaminating the pitcher. Found this gem on a random yelp search. Our waitress Amel was super attentive, helpful, and made great suggestions. We were greeted with smiles and a nice fresh piece of bread and the bread kept coming! Our friends got fresh mint lemonade and some melon drink and loved them. Tried this place a couple of times now and both times food was absolutely delicious. First off, the Iraqi eggplant salad - OMG so yummy, and something different, not something you can get at any mediterranean restaurant. The kebabs were absolutely delicious, the flavor was spot on. And the service was absolutely wonderful. Our waitress was Amanda and she was super friendly and attentive. In general all the staff seemed very welcoming, like they really enjoyed us being there and eating our food, even the gentleman who was minding the grill took the time to smile and waive at my 4 year old daughter who was looking in to see him flip the kebob skewers. The food is amazing! However the waiters/waitresses should work on their skills, specially during the weekend where they are super busy. Terrible Service and a very rude Manager!!!! We came here for good food but got terrible service and a very rude manger and did not even Get our food. Here's what happened and here is the response we got when we simply posted a review about our poor experience: Worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I don't get bothered easily and actually get embarrassed when people complain about the wait, however, I had waited over an hour for my food and multiple people came in after me and received their food before me. When I went to ask the manager how long the wait would be I was yelled at and called a liar for saying I had been there for an hour, I was also told I had to wait. I have never been spoken to this way before let alone from the manager himself. After complaining that I was waiting and sat down again another 15 minutes passed our bread was not refilled and food still no where in sight and multiple people who came after us kept receiving their food. After the ridiculous wait and very rude treatment, my friends and I decided no food was worth it so we paid for our drinks and left. Very awful experience will never ever come back! I wish I could give them a 0 star. If you are looking for a good time don't go here. You've been warned! Response from the owner This was very disappointing to read. That evening we had four workers not show up and all of our customers came in groups -- some of them calling in their orders before coming to ensure their food was ready. The worst service you will ever receive, hands down I've gotten better service at McDonald's. We are sitting in the waiting area waiting to be seated after 10 minutes someone comes and asked us if we want to be seated like were are just sitting there because we had nothing else to do. After being seated, no one came to our table for another 15 minutes. Finally we ask for a waiter and someone comes shortly after to take our order. We placed an order for lamb chops which the menu states takes 30 minutes to cook. We waited almost an hour and finally asked our waitress where our food was.. they came back 5 minutes later to tell us our order was never prepared in the kitchen. One waitress said it wasnt her fault and the original waitress who took our order did not even have the decency to come and apologize. Finally after a back and forth the manager came out and said sorry if you like we can make the order now or you can take the check..... all a while there were a group of people and there kids running around screaming like they are in chuck E cheese. The service is horrible and extremely irrespecutful! Tonight, i ordered chicken Milanese for my children and it was very bad! The chicken was extremely bad quality to an extent it was hardly cut by the knife! We called the server and she took back the plate! After few minutes, someone from the kitchen came out with the plate and asking whats wrong with the plate! We explained the situation and he was like checking the chicken with his hands and took the plate back. After 15 or 20 minutes, it was the shock! He got the same plate, they just cut the chicken to pieces and put it in the fryer and got it back to us and ran away! It was the worst experience ever! I went to speak to Khaled the manager! He was busy at the kitchen, i asked our server Angela if she can call Khaled for me and she came back saying he is busy and he will come to me at the table! After waiting for 10 or 15 minutes! He came out, talking to all the tables in the restaurant ignoring my table although he knows that there is an issue at my table! Eventually, he came asking whats wrong! My wife showed him the plate saying i am speechless, i just need your comment on this plate! He is like, what wrong about it?! I did it myself,etc.. And it ended up with irrespecutful conversation from his side as if he is doing us a favor for redoing the plate! We decided since this is the way we were treated, i will cancel my order and my wife's order which did not come yet plus the plate that he was going to remake! I went to Angela our server! Please cancel our orders and we need the check for whatever we got! She got the wrong receipt and we were like this receipt is not right since we got lamb chops not shawerma sandwiches! She took the receipt and came back after 10 minutes with the correct receipt however she was putting the orders that we did not get on the table! We were like should we pay for something that we did not get!!! She went back to correct the receipt with her manager and she came to the table, throwing the check out and left! the receipt this time was including the plate that was bad which we did not take at all however, we decided to pay whatever the receipt is for at the register cause we wanted to leave this place! And she took the credit card in a very rude way, charging us! Throwing the card back! Putting tips for herself! Behaving bad! Saying words cannot be said to a customer at all! And then just leaving! We were even asking another waiter to get our credit card from the floor back there! I am really disappointed from the way we were treated tonight and I got shocked from how this server named Angela was behaving! I wish i could reach the owner and tell him how his people are treating his customers who come every weekend to his restaurant to eat there! He can check the videos for the restaurant cameras and watch how he is losing business by this irrespecutful treatment and bad manners of the people working even who is supposed to be a manager! all this scenario happened tonight between 9:05 pm until 9:30 pm! read more

We had a horrible experience today. We used to go to this place at least once if not twice every week. However, after what happened today we will never go there again and I will make sure to let everyone know how they treat their customers. One of the plates we ordered was Chicken Milanese. It is supposed to be fried chicken breast and it comes in two whole pieces. When the chicken came and I tried to cut the first piece with the knife, it was very hard to cut and then by trying a piece it wasn't chewy and rubbery. I called our server Angela and told her that this chicken is bad. She takes it back to the kitchen and then someone comes back with the same plate and asks what's wrong so I explain to him that it tastes very weird and is hard as if there is some skin or something in it. It is probably old and reheated or something, I don't know. He touches it by his hand to check it out so you would expect after he did that, he will throw it away and definitely get us a new plate (restaurant hygiene) but to my surprise here is what happened: he takes it back and after a little bit, they bring it back cut into small pieces ( whatever was left from it) and over-cooked in the oven to the point that was almost burnt. I didn't say a thing and I asked to speak to the manager Mr. Khaled who we see every time and we usually call and reserve table, etc. When Mr. Khaled came to the table, i asked him what is this? is this acceptable for you? He replies with yes, I did it. You were complaining it wasn't cooked enough (which I never said) so I cooked it more for you...Really? Are you supposed to change the plate and cut it and burn it and then serve it back to the customer? I was really upset at this point. I asked again if he thinks it is okay. This was the plate for my 5 years old twins... Do you think they can eat this hard, burned chicken. He then said okay what do you want? another plate? He was treating me as if he is making me a favor. I pay for this food and I expect to receive the service I pay for. Anyways he went back to do a new plate and at this time I was really upset and I didn't want to stay in the restaurant so I asked the server to cancel the plate and get the check for the rest of the food that we got. The waiter Angela went back and forth three times getting us wrong receipts with stuff that we didn't even order or with the food that never came to the table. They made us pay for the plate that was bad plus 15% tips. TIPS FOR BEING MISTREATED! WOW!! Angela throw the check in my face and even my card fell from it and she just left us and went to the kitchen and on her way she pointed her finger on us! If you are looking for place to be respected then please don't go there. Imagine all what I said happened to us and we are LOYAL CUSTOMERS THAT GO EVERY WEEK then what would happen to other people.
