10 out of 10 my new favorite sushi spot in Miami this place is so incredibly delicious. I highly recommend!!! We ordered the Kae roll and the honeymoon roll and they were so mouthwatering to die for. Enjoyed each bite, and wanted to order more. We got there just before they closed just to get a little taste, we'll definitely be back this weekend to try more options on the menu highly recommend perfect for date night or work lunch. Thank you so much for your amazing customer service and we will be back soon.

I happened to be in Coral Gables today and was in the mood for some sushi rolls. According to my phones GPS Kae was approximately 800 yards away with great reviews so I decided to try them out. I was prepared to order form the main menu as I thought the price point was pretty reasonable ,however the waitress encouraged me to try their lunch special: For $25 you gout your choice of 2 sushi rolls, 2 appetizers, and desert. For my appetizers, I decided to try the edamame and spring roll and for my rolls I chose the Spicy Tuna Crunch Roll and the Lobster Deluxe Roll. The special also came with a desert. I forgot what it was called but it was a soft/solid chocolate shell on the outside and chocolate ice cream on the inside. The food was delicious, tasty and fresh-- they give you the perfect amount of food--not too much not too little! My waitress was very pleasant and kind while she explained the different types of rolls they had. Keep in mind though if you order a sparkling water, it's served by the bottle and not the glass (although the menu says otherwise) This wasn't an issue for me personally but I thought it was worth mentioning. The ambiance was just beautiful! Very cozy and beautifully furnished. You can tell who ever decorated it put lots of thought into the small details. It was much appreciated by me-- I sat by window on a rainy afternoon and enjoyed a great lunch. Will definitely come back again!

I went back twice for the butter lobster roll! I'm traveling from a landlocked state, so fresh fish is a treat :)

Intimate sushi spot with indoor and outdoor seating. The inside seating was nice and cozy, just what we wanted. Intimate, cozy, and delicious sushi. The sushi was A+, we absolutely loved everything we ordered. The crispy salmon rice, tuna tataki, the ceviche roll, and volcano roll were mouth watering. There was only 1 waitress and she was amazing with her hospitality and helping all the customers. KAE by Chef Landa is on our radar now and we will visit again.

What an amazing sushi spot to try!! The location is a hidden gem on Giralda Ave . Very impressed with the whole experience from the moment we walked in , ambiance and overall dining experience. We were greeted and attended by the wife of the chef which made the dining experience superb. Gave us suggestions on the choices and wow! We loved them all. We started with ceviche de corvina and salmon avocado sushi rolls which were perfect and delicious. But the star of the show was the Toro & Caviar roll which was sooo delicious that I can't wait to go back for more. This is a one of a kind roll with a rich delicious flavor never tasted before. This roll is only served on the weekends. We were soo impressed that we shared our opinion and chef Landa came out of the kitchen to greet us and thanked us for the visit and encouraged us to come back. Definitely returning and a must for all sushi lovers!!

Kae Sushi is found on the lovely street of Giralda. You can opt to sit outside on a nice evening and enjoy. Great little spot for a date and some good sushi. They have very interesting rolls including a guava one and a prosciutto roll. The Prosciutto roll was phenomenal I mean hands down! I would have never thought to put prosciutto on a roll but let me tell you that it works. The flavor profile is insane. An Italian roll, if you will haha. The restaurant does not have cocktails, they have your glass of wine and beer. Everything was great. I definitely recommend!

Pork Gyoza (steamed) and Tuna Tataki

We decided to go out for sushi to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, and settled on Kae after walking around Giralda. As per usual we arrived shortly before they closed so we ordered everything as quickly as possible to not delay staff from closing up at 9. Service was great, super attentive and never made us feel rushed in the slightest. We started with the steamed pork gyoza and tuna tatake. The gyoza was exceptional, tuna tatake was different with a smoky flavor and subtle kick. I was looking forward to trying the sashimi roll only to find out they didn't have that anymore The rolls are tiny at only 5 pieces per roll, so we both ordered a giralda roll and my partner also had a volcano roll (food took a little while to come out and we finished the it by the time we realized we didn't get pics, sorry!). Rolls were good, but it was really difficult to appreciate the flavors beneath all of the eel sauce. My partner made a comment he felt like he'd taken a shot of eel sauce, and he was right. Given our proximity to Kae, I might be willing to try it again but my partner said he'd pass on it in the future. All in all I'd try it again but make a mental note to ask for the sauce on the side!

Went to Kae sushi on a Saturday evening. I recommend a reservation just in case. It seems sometimes it can be more busy than others. Staff was friendly and helpful. They have some cool sushi choices. I ordered one roll of the salmon with passion fruit. One roll of salmon with guava. If you like sweet, it's a good mix and match. For dessert, I ordered a Nutella roll, which was good, but I want to try the Thai donuts next time. Prices are ok. The rolls I ordered are 5 pieces. Would have liked more. They have outside and inside seating. I would recommend to atleast try once.

    Salmon sensation

Delicious Sushi, amazing service, definitely recommend! Kathy was very warm and hospitable. During our visit we had salmon sensation, passion fruit roll, and the Neptune salad. This is a little hole on the wall, but a MUST! I promise!

Server was pleasant and friendly but accidentally put in an order for an onigiri that we never ordered and forgot to put in the order for a black garlic ramen my friend ordered. When we asked about the missing ramen order he quickly went to the back to put in the order but ordered the wrong ramen which was a regular tonkatsu ramen. Another thing that was a little irritating was that the bathroom's paper towel dispenser was empty so you couldn't dry your hands after washing. Given that there was only one other table with two customers during the entire duration of our meal, it seems kind of inexcusable that the employees could not check and replace the dispenser while they were also using during the time of service. Regarding the meal, The black Garlic ramen was decent albeit slightly salty and the texture of the noodles was nice. My friends tonkatsu ramen was a little too creamy for the soup and came with thinner b noodles which was a little disappointing and unexpected as it was not mentioned in the menu that there were any differences in the type of noodles in each ramen choices. The sushi rolls were good. They were well made and flavorful. Overall I would recommend this place and think it's worth a try.

The happy hour menu is from 4 to 7 and has a number of good options, we tried the spicy margarita and it was so good. Passionfruit flavor, not as spicy as I would have hoped. I think they mostly dropped a jalapeño slice in there in there and called it a day, but still really refreshing and nice. I also got the garden salad since I love the ginger dressing, and it was true to its form I got the Alex #2 roll and the South Miami roll off the happy hour menu, I believe these were the only two sushi rolls there, they each came with six or seven pieces and everything in total was a great size for me. Not to mention the prices were great, less than $10 for each of these rolls. We tried the gyoza for the table and it was also fresh perfectly crispy, but not too much so as well as the taras tuna and tuna tartare. The only dishes I don't think we'd order again where the chicken teriyaki and the chicken Katsu - the chicken itself was good, but the chicken teriyaki came as a kind of Mish mashed plate slapoed together, not enough for a variety and texture for my taste. The chicken Katsu was also missing the signature Japanese curry sauce that usually comes with it. They did give a sauce that we thought was the curry but when we actually tried it, it was more like a watery barbecue sauce and a little disappointing. But The fish was all very fresh and delicious. I thought for the happy hour price It was a great deal and a great time. I don't come to Coco walk that often but I would definitely come back when I do

I've dined for both lunch and dinner. I was impressed on both occasions. I tried the salmon, hamachi and tuna sashimi. I could see the chef literally slicing my sashimi pieces from the fish! It was a sight to see. I love love love sashimi, but the salmon was notable. It was buttery and seemed like it was melting in my mouth. Loved the texture. I've also tried their Osumi Steak (filet mignon with mushrooms and mashed potatoes). Five stars. I ordered my steak medium well. It was cooked perfectly. The gravy was poured tableside and was a nice complement to the potatoes. I cleaned my plate. For lunch, I've tried their sushi. My favorite was the Kanicado Roll, which had blue crab, avacado, cucumber, masago and aioli. Being from the DMV, I definitely critiqued the "taste" of the blue crab and it was all good! Well done. I actually caught pieces of the blue crab shell in the sushi. Although some may gripe about that, I welcomed it. It made me feel confident that I was actually eating MD blue crab. This roll was really good and I would get it again. I also tried the Ryu Roll. This was also tasty. It was a bit heavier than the Kanicado because of the avocado and the shrimp tempura, and it was on the spicier side. The Ceviche Yellowtail was a star too. The plating was nice. The tuna and tangy cream sauce brought balance to the sweet potatoes. I will admit I was a bit apprehensive to try, but it worked well and I would get it again! Lastly, as for the service, Gregory was awesome. He recommended all of the dishes that we tried. He was attentive and checked on us frequently.
