This place is always great. The staff are all friendly even when they are busy. This place is hoppin!! The food and coffee are always delicious and they have vegan option that slap. The coffee even know they are known for their baked goods it really great. They have soy, which I love . The only thing is they hired a new person, who is not the nicest. They have a huge selection of pastries, drinks, and food, but you have to get one of their famous breakfast biscuit sandwiches built to order. You can't go wrong with their bacon cheddar biscuit egg sandwich with garlic aioli and bacon; if you're lucky, on certain days they'll have sausage to add on, which you should totally go for. This is a small spot with 2 stools by the Im window and maybe 7 or so tables outside to sit and enjoy your food. The staff was kind and helpful. I love that they have water and condiments out for you to get what you need. I got a biscuit sandwich with eggs, cheese, garlic aioli, and greens. Solid breakfast sandwich when I'm in the mood for something biscuit-based (besides Chick-Fil-A). Classic buttermilk biscuit is tasty, but quite soft and flakes easily, so be careful when you're eating. They're quite generous with egg and aioli, which taste great with the biscuit. I usually skip the cheese and add avocado and chicken (I appreciate that there are healthier options than bacon and sausage), which then ends up adding up quite a bit to $14. My husband tried their karaage special today as well. These specials are premade, first come first served. We came at 10 AM today, and there were only 3 karaage sandwiches left (classic biscuit, karaage, furikake, wasabi aioli which he liked for the flavor -- no egg). They heat up these premade specials for you, but they don't taste quite as hot and fresh as the build-your-own breakfast sandwiches in my opinion. I will note I think these breakfast sandwiches taste a lot better if you eat them there. I had an unexpected day off and I was due to visit the Mission for an appointment and I looked up a few places I'd had bookmarked and decided to stop here for breakfast. It's about a 5-min walk from the 14 bus route and when I arrived I took a few minutes to look over the menu. I decided on a vanilla latte, a biscuit sandwich, and a croissant for later. The woman taking my order was quick and friendly and I had both my drink and sandwich after about a 10 minute wait. There are two window seats inside and a few tables and chairs outside which is where I enjoyed my meal. I love when am espresso drink is at the perfect temperature to drink right away and the latte was delicious. The sandwich is crumbly, so keep it in the wrapper as you eat it, but it was filling and also tasty. I wish they had a sausage option but I enjoyed it with the bacon. The ingredients were fresh and they didn't skimp on anything. My total was about $20 without tip so it's not cheap, but I think it was worth it. read more

Ordering was amazing my husband got their tri tip but in a biscuit sandwich which was amazing!! This got the cheddar biscuit and he got his plain and I liked them both. Plain one he said was more moist and mine was a bit more salty but could have also been the bacon in mine. They got some pretty legit bakery options. I've had at least 4 different bakery items. They were all solid besides the pig in the blanket. You could get probably any of their bakery items in the case and be pretty satisfied. The pig in the blanket felt like a scam. It was $9.50 (like $4 more than anything else). I've had so many Kolaches in Texas that I assumed this would be an elevated version of that. It was not. It was worse. I wouldn't get this, but anything else I would recommend! Kahnfections was an adorable little coffee shop, and the perfect place to grab a quick breakfast and coffee. I got an iced chai which had a good blend of spice and sweetness. I was told that today the batch was especially spiced, which I preferred, but I probably wouldn't have liked it as much if it was sweeter and less spicy. I also got a pain au chocolat which was very good, but definitely not my favorite in the city. I also got their biscuit which was okay at room temp, but absolutely delicious warm. I brought it home, put it in the microwave for a few seconds, and it was amazing. My boyfriend got the breakfast sandwich which he absolutely adored, and a coffee. My other friend got the cinnamon roll which was tall, covered in glaze, and in her words "super delicious".
