Just returned to Denmark from a nice Eastern holiday in Hoboken NJ…read more We found Saka by coincidence. Ordered Red Dragon and Saka rolls, salmon nigri and Edamame with seasalt, and we did that again 2 times more during our holiday. The Red Dragon rolls tasted good and crispy, the Saka rolls with Mango was sweet and exiting, we had'nt tasted that kind of roll before. Can just say, great service, delicious food and prices that reflex the quality. Thanks and please open in Denmark

Saka has a solid offer of Any 3 Rolls for ~$20. Their selection of rolls is more limiting than other places; would love if they had yellowtail or scallop as options at lunch. Nonetheless, the rolls I got were solid! The fish was fresh and the portion was great, the rice layer wasn't thick at all which is a big factor for me, and to my surprise, it came with both a miso soup & salad. The miso soup was pretty flavorful compared to others I've had and the salad came with a sesame dressing that was so refreshing with the crisp salad. I should've kept my order at that as the Crispy Spicy Salmon wasn't worth it. The crispy rice was slightly too hard/over-fried and the portion of spicy salmon was so tiny. The rice layer should be fully topped with salmon, unlike what they gave. It didn't taste half bad but I'd probably skip it next time. If you order for delivery, their insulated packaging is great for transport and temperature control. Solid try!

Our sushi rolls were presented with artfulness and others who know sushi said it was very good!! Another loved the tempura chicken tenders.

The menu kind of reflects this struggle too, as it can't seem to decide if it wants to offer more traditional Japanese sushi-ya fare or something more innovative. As a result, we kind of wound up with the middling middle with our choice of 4 specialty rolls: 1) Saku: Probably the best and most traditional of our rolls with salmon and avocado inside, and ponzu, chives and crispy shallots on the outside. 2) Lobster: Not enough lobster salad inside to justify the overuse of miso-yuzu mayo, and just a whole ton of filler nonsense going on outside wrapped in pink soy paper. 3) Drop It Like Its Hot: Not spicy enough to justify the cute name. This should've been an easy slam dunk in flavor, but everything felt kind of bland and flat. Maybe due to the lack of nori. 4) Crunch Drunk Love: Lots of fish, but again, not enough flavor. We also got the Edamame with Spicy Miso Butter, which was just OK--the butter was weirdly sour. I wouldn't order it again. In fact, I....wouldn't really order anything here again.

We got crab rangoons, Salmon avocado roll, Philadelphia roll, and spicy tuna roll…read more Rangoons were very stuffed with cream cheese, almost too much. Not enough crab. And the sauce they came with was too sweet, i prefer more of a sweet chili sauce. Also, they were a little undercooked, not enough crisp. The sushi rolls were all fantastic. Definitely Meets my standards. Filled really well, not too much rice, ingredients tasted fresh. And the spicy tuna was not too spicy which is what I prefer, and it was very gushy, which I love. Overall, i loved the sushi. Would definitely return for more sushi.

The sushi roll was fairly standard, though thankfully, contained more eel than it had on my previous order. The soup, however, was excellent! The broth was rich and flavorful; it contained tender strips of white meat chicken, shitake mushrooms, and a handful of other vegetables. It was fantastic and definitely worth ordering again. The pair made for the perfect late evening meal to tide me over until the next day.
