[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute little cafe in the central district area with tasty pastries, drinks, and pad thai![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My husband and I came here on a Sunday late afternoon. They have a small parking lot in front of the cafe. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is very unique and cute! They seem to love photos and cartoons of cats and dogs! Were fans![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered their Thai tea with lactose free milk and boba. We also had their pandan custard bun and their chicken pad Thai and everything was very tasty! Custard bun was soft and nicely flavored and the pad Thai was delicious! Service was friendly and everything came out fairly quickly! Overall, love this spot! Would come back for more pad Thai and to try their other pastries and drinks!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A very cute, cozy and comfy cafe in Central District![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That being said, good luck finding parking for this place as street parking gets atrociously full around most times of the day, including Friday night around 8pm. Back to my rave: [[HIGHLIGHT]]this place is comfy and a great place to just sit in when it's chilly outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a comfy couch near the entrance, many knickknacks strewn around the inside and it's brightly lit to the point where you feel like you're at home instead of a cafe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The owner of the place is very sweet and welcoming, and the pastries shown around the area looked so delicious. For this visit, my friend and I got the Thai green tea latte, key lime tea, egg tart and a slice of tiramisu crepe cake. The egg tart was warm and yummy, and quite big too so it has a mochi-like layer inside it. The tiramisu crepe cake had tons of layers of crepe and cream along with the tiramisu powder sprinkled on top. This was creamy, delightful and calming all around, that's how good this cake was! My key lime tea is a mix of Thai tea and fresh lime juice, and I'm surprised that neither part interfered with each other too much given one is sweet and the other relatively sour. The Thai green tea latte was just as great to drink. This place is so cozy and cute, and the owner gave us great service. When you do find parking, come here for some drinks and desserts, it'll be worth it!

Very tasty food and drinks! They can make most of the drinks dairy free which is fantastic for me. They also can make some of the food vegan upon request. The server was really sweet and helpful as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is super cute. Lots of plushies around and plenty of sunlight and cozy seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would definitely return!

Pad Thai 4/5: very authentic tasting, strong tamarind and fish sauce taste

Stopped by during a weekday to catch up with a friend from out of town. Cafe is located in like a converted house, so theres really limited parking right in front, you might be able to find some street parking nearby. Service is superb, owner is super nice and friendly, greeting with a huge smile. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is very comfy and cute, like a friend's place with colorful paintings, seating and plushies.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were greeted with some mellow thai pop music from a little speaker on the side, it just added to the inviting vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They serve food and drinks but because they don't have a dishwasher in the back, all food will be served in take out containers; they do provide extra plates and any utensils if you'd like to eat there. Pad Thai 4/5: Flavors are very pronounced in the dish, lots of tamarind sour and fish sauce salty, they do not shy away from seasonings. If anything the seasoning was a bit too strong for my liking but I would still get it again if i was craving something authentic. The noodles and meat were cooked very well and I liked that the nut topping and dry chili was set aside in a small container so you could add it on top when you were ready to eat. Thai Green Tea 4/5: I rarely see this drink in many places in and around Seattle so was excited to try it here. It's more mellow than thai tea with a more earthy undertone, the sweetness was very mild, really not too sweet at all. I would have liked it a bit more sweet but I think with pearls would have been perfect. Matcha Tea w/ Pearls 4/5: Nothing super special about the drink but it definitely curbed the craving if you wanted something not too caffeinated and matcha. Overall I would stop by again if I was in the area, I hear good things about their pastries and really love the concept of the seasonal menu.

This is my third time in this restaurant and it's amazing! This is a great spot to grab a quick meal, or lounge and enjoy the vibe. Normally I have to grab and go, because I don't live close by yet I'm here for work stuff. I've tried the pad Thai and curry chicken bowl, both are fabulous. The lady who owns the place is an absolute gem, always going above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience Come in, you won't be sorry!

I defy you to find the cafe's name in this photo in under 10 seconds.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Weirdly poor signage (see photos). Why is the name of the place in tiny font?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's a sign on the door that says "No Cash On Premises" yet the server said she would accept only cash, not electronic payment. Odd. My friend and I gave up and walked to Push Pull Cafe a block away which served me a smooth delicious matcha oat latte for under $6.

WOW. There's this beautiful cafe hidden on the off path of Central District. It has a very cozy interior and a wide selection of meals and desserts. I recommend everyone to check it out!

The staff were super friendly, the food tasted really good, and the drinks were delicious. They not only have snacks but full entrees. They had a variety of boba milk tea variations to choose from, and I ended up trying the Barbie . [[HIGHLIGHT]]I came here to study and the they had the perfect set up for studying or even just socializing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I also love that they're open until 9pm since a lot of local cafes close at 6pm. Will definitely be coming back!

Stumbled across this cute cafe on my daily walk. The women running the store was so nice and welcoming. She was so kind and smiling when she took my order. I just got the chicken curry puff which was nice, warm, and stuffed with chicken curry flavor. Lots of room to sit and enjoy the delicious food. They also had lots of other yummy options to eat and drink. I definitely want to go back to try their Pad Thai made with gluten free noodles along with their Thai Green Tea Latte. If you're in the Central District area look out for the pink sign and head on inside.

Highly recommend this adorable cafe for their delicious pastries and food. Food portions are massive, and pastries are quite large too. Pad thai w/ chicken - One of the best pad thai I've had. Perfect balance of sweet, salty, spicy, sour, and funky. Most pad thai I've had in Seattle is dumbed down a bit, whether to save on costs or cater to an American palate. I can tell this pad thai uses real tamarind, and it's not shy with the fish sauce and dried shrimp. Comes with thai dried chili flakes, peanuts, and lime to augment to your liking. Only small thing is I wish the chicken were cut into smaller pieces. Basil chicken rice bowl - Seasoning was delicious - soy saucey, fish saucey, a bit sweet and aromatic from the basil. Quite spicy at 2/3 spice level. Again, wish the chicken were cut into smaller pieces. Would also have loved if it included stir fried vegetables. Egg tart - Pretty good, especially reheated in the oven! Surprisingly the custard was not sweet at all. I still enjoyed it, but I think it would be better sweeter. Chicken curry puff - Very large, very good! The fish sauce flavor came out a bit more than expected. Mango sticky rice ice cream - Coconut sticky rice, fresh mangoes, toasted nuts, and a scoop of ice cream. Yum! Service was very friendly and cheerful. Atmosphere was very cute and cozy. Prices are very reasonable. For example, you can get a slice of crepe cake for half the price of Lady M.

Desserts were delicious! The desserts were yum (not too sweet) Ambiance gave off a cute but cozy vibe. The cherry on top, the owners are so welcoming and just the sweetest. Would definitely visit again

I took my friend here to eat with me during the end hours of the Georgetown Carnival around 8:30pm…read moreafter hearing my friends tried here earlier in the day and vehemently recommending it to me. For it being less than half an hour before closing, it was packed inside, with two sections of seating for various group sizes, and a casually loud interior with a counter full of water jugs and glass cups in front of a nice plant backdrop with the name of this place in lights. Menu serves a ton of Asian fusion dishes along with some regular entrees and a ton of cocktails and wine. From my sis's recommendation when she went, I got myself the banh mi smash burger after deciding between that and the Pho-rench dip my brother-in-law had. My friend got himself the La Vong fish sandwich, which I didn't get to try though we both did split an order of honey sriracha Brussel sprouts. - For the banh mi smash burger, think of ALL the essential ingredients of a standard banh mi sandwich; then put in a regular beef patty, throw in lemongrass beef as the other meat and add provolone cheese as a complement to the pate-mayo spread. That's what this is in a nutshell, and it tastes exactly like a banh mi sandwich as a result, only in burger form. This was an absolute hit and win for me; beef patty was juicy, condiments were fresh, lemongrass beef was equally as juicy, and the side of fries made this a very filling dish! - I normally don't like Brussel sprouts because of their similar taste profile to asparagus, but I ate a ton of the honey sriracha Brussel sprouts from here. It's sweet and tangy, both of which mask the oddly earthy and bitter tones of regular Brussel sprouts. They're also roasted which further gets rid of that bitter taste I don't enjoy. We rushed a little eating since they were close to closing but we loved everything we got here! I should start keeping a list of places like this one for places I need to make a second and even third visit to for their other dishes.

In fact, the interior is so unique that you wouldn't immediately guess it's an Asian restaurant. The staff were friendly, though service was a bit inattentive; I found myself waiting longer than expected for basic things. Interestingly, when I ordered noodles and asked for chopsticks, they told me they didn't have any. It was quite a surprise to find an Asian restaurant serving noodles without chopsticks. As for the food, it was fine, but nothing memorable for the price. I've had better Asian food elsewhere in Seattle for less. If you're after a stylish, brunch-aesthetic spot to try Asian-inspired dishes, Di Fiora fits the bill. But if you're going purely for the flavors, you may leave underwhelmed.

Just glancing at the menu during a stroll in Cap Hill interested me and I wanted to give this place a try. Paid a visit on a Friday around 6PM and was able to get a table fairly quickly. There are parking garages in the building that Nue is located at, though I am not sure about parking validation. There should be plenty of street parking as the restaurant is located more on the outskirts of Cap Hill. I got to the restaurant via a 10 minute walk from the nearest light rail station. Service was a bit slow when went, I think after we were seated, there unfortunately were two large groups that can in afterwards. We had to flag down the service workers to place our order and get the check. As for the food, it came out after 10 minutes one at a time. The restaurant itself is decorated nicely, lots of memorabilia from various countries and even the check came out in a passport-esque binder. We got a couple of things, which I'll review down below: Carribean Pineapple Cornbread ($8): Tasty cornbread that has nice coconut flakes spread through the batter and around the cornbreads. The cornbread was moist and there is a pineapple undertone in the flavor profile. One downside was that the quantity is quite small, I think for the price, you get like 2 3x3 squares of cornbread, which I think is unfortunately not enough as an appetizer even. Chengdu Wings ($24): These wings do have a tasty flavor profile and have a fragrant aroma when you bite into them. The batter is crispy and they are pleasing to eat! Once again, I unfortunately think the suffers in terms of quantity - you maybe get like 3 wings for $24, which I personally think is a very steep price for fried chicken wings, regardless of the flavor profile. I understand that not everyone can handle very spicy flavor, and personally think that despite the name being Chengdu Wings, it serves as a good entry to Sichuanese cuisine for people given the motivation of the restaurant. Malaysian Dhal ($22): A pleasant dish that has a fragrant coconut, lime, and lemongrass flavor that represents the flavors of Malaysia well. The stew has a pleasant consistency and each bite coats your tongue with the fragrant flavors. The roti is flaky on the outside and soft on the inside - perfect for enjoying this dish. African Bunny Chow ($24): Probably the most filling dish that we have ordered at Nue - I think if you are hungry, maybe go for this one. There is a decent amount of meat in this dish, and the flavors are tasty - it feels like a slightly more toned down Dhal in terms of fragrance, but has a pleasant thicker consistency. In the end, I think Nue is better served as a Tapas-esque restaurant than a place you would visit if you are hungry. Prices vs. quantity does suffer quite a bit at Nue unfortunately, which is why I think it serves as a place to sample cuisines in a night out and then maybe visit elsewhere to complete your dinner. The food is flavorful and pleasing to the general audience, which is a good thing for people who generally aren't very adventurous in their culinary horizons. I'm not sure I would revisit, but I would definitely recommend this to people that lean more on the safer side of dining out.
