At 1st i walked in and thought damn the music is good but y is it so dead on a saturday -_- I asked for a table for 2 and they took us upstairs and it was packed upstairs n the music was a PLUS because it was good. Went to this place last weekend. Had the best turkish food yet. The pros: 1. Decent/Good hookah. They are priced moderately 2. Amazing food. We started off with appetizer combo. Must try. All fresh made, very tasty. We also ordered entrees. Really big portions but very tasty. 3. Sweet hostess 4. Dj takes recommendations and plays your music, else its an itunes playlist 5. Stupid and rude bartender. We went in this afternoon as we were walking down the street and saw their happy hour sign stating $4 USA beers. My husband ordered a Goose IPA and I got a Blue Moon. When we got the check the Blue Moon was $7 because the bartender said it was a Belgian beer, not US. I showed him on my phone that it was infact made in Colorado. Unfortunatley he decided to be extremely rude and argue with me that it was from Belgium because the label says Belgian White on it (nevermind that directly underneath it states "Belgian Style Beer"). The service was super slow on a Friday, we had a party of 8 and everything was a mess. She bought out the drinks separately and by the time everyone got their first drink in it was probably 1.5 hours after we had ordered. Visited here a few weeks ago after Yelping for a hookah bar (my friend was craving a little hookah in her life). It is a very interesting place. There are flowers roped around the molding and velour everywhere! A strange combination of pub and opulent decor. I stuck to my trusty Stella and didn't really poke around the menu, but the bartender was pretty attentive and quick to fill our glasses. I'm really a big hookah lover, so when I come across new hookah spots I'm really picky. I go in to the place assuming the hookah will be horrible. I WAS WRONG! This hookah is really good, smooth potent and flavorful. The food is delicious, the drinks came strong, but tasted great! Then a belly dancer appeared she was pretty good (could learn to do a better hiproll lol) but it was a great night. I really recommend this place, btw prices are really good. Nice place. Not to noisy and not to loud. The lighting is dim and nice. My group had only ordered drinks and the apple flavored hookah. The drinks were really tasty. And the staff would change our charcoal often for our hookah. They don't have the bouncer out until about 9PM or 10PM. But the reason why I give this hookah 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is because I felt as though the hookah quality could have been better there I feel as though the price I paid was too much for it. read more

Came here with a group of about 5 others. Overall it's a place to relax and spread out with friends, but there's no real reason to come here. The layout sucks. On a hot day there's no airflow which will leave you sweating. We kept having to move to find a spot that could accommodate all 6 of us. The staff was not happy, and not the least bit accommodating. Shame on them. Once we finally got situated we ordered our hookah and food. It took way too long for our food to come out - then it was super dry and not very tasty. I asked for some white sauce for my Mediterranean wrap and the offered me bleu cheese. WAT? We asked for hot sauce and that took about 30 minutes to come out after several excuses from the wait staff. Overall: Hookah wasn't great, but wasn't bad: 3/5 Service was atrocious: 1/5 Way too hot: 1/5 Food was not good: 2/5 Yeah, overall a 2/5 sums it up. I would love to know why 18% gratuity is included in the bill when the service here is terrible. Probably because if you tip on your own it would be no where near 18%. When first sitting me and my friends asked to start with a glass of water and a hookah before we ordered food and drinks, the waitress told us we couldn't have a free water unless we ordered a drink from the bar... otherwise we had to pay for a bottle of water? We then all ordered a drink and over an hour later still hadn't gotten our water because all they care about is bar sales. We waited over 40min for our second hookah while tons of other tables were getting hookahs and we asked our waitress three times and each time she just said "it's coming". To top it all off our table was given a gin and tonic we NEVER ordered (still no water) and when we politely told the waitress and asked for our waters she was extremely rude and laughed in my face saying that I did order a gin and tonic when i've never drank that in my life and was only ordering shots. She then included the 2nd hookah (which never came after an hour) on our bill and a beer that also never arrived and was again rude when we asked her to remove EVEN THOUGH WE NEVER GOT THEM. And then they add an automatic 18% tip? For what? I was here with some friends on Saturday. We sat outside on the balcony. Its like they forget we are even here. We asked for calamari and a drink and the waitress never returned to take our order so we just sat down and eventually left without placing that order. We ordered 2 regular hookahs and a pot of tea. The hookah is decent, not the greatest but was good enough. The seating outside is great but just a little too cramped. Coming from Los Angeles the hookah scene in New York has been thoroughly disappointing and this place was by far the worst experience I have ever endured. I arrived and waited 5 minutes to be seated, mind you not business is dead at this time. Was seated by an immensely kind gentlemen and later on passed off to a distasteful waitress with a disgusting argumentative attitude. I sat down and was disappointed to also discover that you couldn't mix flavors without absurd additional charges and gratuity everything, it was pricey and with a waitress with absolutely no drive or intention to lend a helping hand I decided to leave promptly after placing an order that hadn't been served to me or put through yet which had sparked an uncomfortable argument between the waitress and myself. Although this is a personal experience of my own. It's very true, One bad experience can ruin it all for you. But hey! It may just be the fact that I don't understand how NYC treats their hookah lovers but for visitors, tourists, part-time New Yorkers I do not recommend a place that will leave a bad taste in your mouth. read more

I used to be a regular costumer during year 2010 to 2014. I came as a group and bunch of dates...I do not recommend this place for dates because their food definitely as great as their service...bunch of times they seated us on tables such balcony which was very cramped, when being on date they never checked on us and also since I am an expert I had to keep fixing it myself and try to keep the hookah on.....I also think the tebaco they use is extremely strong....I mean that is how I remember lol.....as a group I also think the service was not great, including food and the hookah....so me and my friends stopped coming here after all those service charges and meh food.....if I could I would give one and half star read more

They double charged same bill and never get my money back. Worst management and service ever.

An expensive and painful night. I was burned on my finger and got a first degree burn on my thigh. I had come here with some friends and we ordered 2 hookahs. They were fine. After 10 minutes another customer tipped the hookah and the coals fell on me. I went downstairs to pay and leave. The bill for 2 hookahs and no drinks was $116 dollars. I struggled to take out the money with my burned hand in excruciating pain. The staff and manager were clearly not equipped to deal with burns. One kind waitress gave me a few ice cubes. The manager gave me a few drops of OTC burn cream but no bandage or gauze. He and another waitress blamed me for coming into contact with the coals- as if I were to blame. I went to 24 hour urgent care and got an antibiotic and some prescription burn cream- $150. I was struck by staff's inability to respond to burns, and that the reaction was to blame the customer rather than ask if I was ok. They had no interest in remedying the situation insofar as it was within their power to do so. I was not at fault and I do not fault them that someone tipped the hookah and I was burned. However I do fault their inappropriate response to blame the customer for customer injury. That said, I have never been burned before in a hookah bar and am unfamiliar with industry standard. An experience I hope to soon forget. read more
